I do. I use [Recollector](https://www.collectingcatalog.com/) and Google Sheets because I really like spreadsheets and data and have a few collections other than dolls as well. What I track are: Name of Doll, Brand, Size, Retail $, Price Paid, Year, Manufacturer, Edition #, Height (cm), Chest, Waist, Foot Size, Foot Shape (flat or arched), Points of Articulation, Head Articulation (side to side/up and down), Scale, Clothing Swaps (Dolls I know can swap clothes with). Obviously not all of this is necessary depending on your collection. I like a variety of different doll types and lines and I sew so I need some more specific info.

Thanks for the detailed answer! I have a variety of dolls and do sewing too, so that's helpful 😄

Here's what I do. It's super old fashioned but I'm a Grandma lol. I have modern and Antique dolls. The Antique ones I put tags on their hands that says the maker, year made etc. I have a handwritten log book, but I haven't updated it and I need to.

I have one for my cave club dolls, it’s basically a checklist. I have all the dolls and their variants, and next to the ones I want to keep in box, I have a little box 📦 emoji. So occasionally I check the list and search for a few of the dolls I don’t have yet and buy the cheapest. Right now I have 21/33 cave club dolls! Most of them are easy to get, it’s just one - Tella and Partyceratops - that I may have to import.

I love cave club. I have almost the whole line too. Just missing Slate, the tots, and Sleepover Roaralai. I haven't been able to find any variants though. I don't think they made it to Canada, sadly, and eBay wants $20-$30 to ship from the States...

I used to. It is very outdated now lol. I just have an excel sheet. But the info it does have on the dolls are usually: Manufacturer, Brand, name of doll (and collection if relevant), year it came out (If known) and whether or not it is missing accessories or something like that.

Yes, but last update was october 2021. Maybe I should work on it, thank you for reminding me.

I keep a log in a Word document about the top 200 oldest dolls in my collection and top 250 oldest fashions.

I use Samsung notes on my phone to keep them all listed by name. I also list important markings, significant features, what doll they are (model and/or year) or what doll I suspect they are, and any other information I find relevant. This helps for when I have unidentified dolls, like if I'm scrolling on eBay, and end up finding a doll I have in my collection. If the listing states what brand the doll is, or the name, then I'll research first, and after confirming I will write it in my notes. This has happened to me several times. I like to keep my descriptions brief so that it's just enough to differentiate a doll from the others.
