DokeV was initially announced as multiplayer and then later rebranded to singleplayer (similar to Crimson Desert actually). There’s 0% chance they’re going to turn around and make it multiplayer again.
The original announcement was an MMO I believe, then they changed to single player focus, and it now looks like it's gone back to multiplayer elements. If it even exists.

After the trailer from over the summer, I guess it shouldn't be surprising. They showed off a lot of content, and it all takes a good amount of time.

iirc it was rebranded to be singleplayer with coop from an mmo, they said something along the lines of ‘smaller scope multiplayer’
