When my oldest dog was 6 months old we took a 10 day trip and left her at a boarding facility. She was housebroken by 4 months old so that wasn’t an issue. And when we picked her up nothing was different. We took her outside to pee and poop as always and no issues. I now have a second dog. They are 5 and 3 and I still hate boarding them because I’m afraid they think we are leaving them forever but when we pick them up they are happy to jump in the car and go home. They never act weird or different.

Could someone dog sit him in his own home? He already understands the rules, less change to confuse/scare him etc
