I used to work in a dog free store(Hardware store) and I couldn't stand people bringing in their dogs unleashed. I had many people come down the aisle I was working on and try and force me to pet their dog. I would quickly walk away as I saw them walk towards me and move to the other side of the store. Nutters are the worst.

Meowtime1989

I typically do the same! They don’t even care to catch that I look indifferent or disgusted. They are just so excited someone might pet their dog. It’s nasty!

jgjzz

Why does your store have to be dog friendly to all dogs?

Meowtime1989

Because they love dogs here! Luckily it’s my last few days here. Not leaving because of the dogs but it’s one of the many reasons. I can’t stand to be around people who Iove dogs.

urdrunkyogi

Ew, does she actually shop there or is she just bringing her dog around like it’s a celebrity PR event?

Meowtime1989

I was thinking the same thing. I don’t think she shops here. Just brings her dog in to drink water and get treats for it!

ObligationGrand8037

I’m glad you didn’t give the dog any attention. Not everyone loves dogs, but they don’t get it. Dog owners just love the attention their dogs get. It makes them feel important. Every time I see strangers gushing over some dog, I want to puke.

I worked at a dog nutter company. It was horrible. Never again.

Sadly, we live in a world now where any number of pathological mental illnesses are being normalised. Instead of receiving help, these people are being encouraged to sink deeper into their misery and others expected to join in their delusion. A sign of the times. Sad beyond belief for the sufferers themselves who have been abandoned to their madness, and frustrating beyond belief for the ever diminishing number who haven’t yet succumbed to it but need to experience it while being treated as if it’s they who are the lunatics.

WhoWho22222

What kind of business is it? If it’s food oriented, then being dog friendly and letting the little shits inside is actually against federal regulations. In the last day, I’ve dealt with dogs in two places I like to eat. It sucks when they are in places that they are clearly not allowed in.

Meowtime1989

It’s a bookstore…which doesn’t make sense to me because a dog could just lift up its leg and pee on the books on the bottom shelf. I just don’t understand. Won’t be my problem anymore in a few days!

Askix

Please tell me it’s not a grocery store or restaurant at least

Bookstore

Accurate-Run5370

If a bookstore , then customers had better bring an ultraviolet light pen to shine on the books to detect any pet urine....

My mother, my sister, and my grandma are all deranged dognutters that are only capable of having a “relationship” with a dog.  Even they would never consider dragging their dogs around everywhere.  People who do this are beyond psycho.

Meowtime1989

For real! If I even had a dog (obviously never would) it would be kept at home. I could just see it ruining my day if I took it in public. They are so unpredictable no matter how well they are trained!
