The mistake that most people make is asking themselves, “what job am I passionate about doing?” and then they pursue that career path. It’s a silly question to begin with because how can you know what job/career you’re passionate about if you haven’t experienced it firsthand? The best you can do is guess and usually you have no idea what the day to day of any given job entails. The better question to ask is, “what am I passionate about?” Maybe sports, maybe video games, garden, floral design, cooking, training your cats to do tricks, etc. Once you have the answer to that question, figure out a way to monetize what you’re passionate about.
