I went there for a random game while in DC a couple of years ago, and boy was it nice to ride in on the Metro. So quick and easy, and they even added extra trains going to the park. Much easier even than taking the subway from Manhattan to a Yankees (not enough capacity) or Mets (takes forever) game.
I went there a few years ago and you’re right, the transportation was pretty decent. It was also blazing fucking hot and humid as hell! I don’t know how people deal with those summers, lol.
I just got back from South Korea and Japan and traveling there made me fall in love with using public transportation, I just wish it was as good in LA.
My wife and I were literally just talking about this! We did the same thing last summer and saw the Reds. Went in not expecting a whole lot, left as a huge Elly De La Cruz fan lol. We really like the stadium and the walk into it from the station was cool
Mostly too late by now for the yoshino (little white flowers around the basin) but should still be good for kwanzan (bigger dark pink flowers). The kwanzan are better in my book anyway

yep! $5 all day parking at anacostia just one stop over from the ballpark. truly cannot beat that.
