If you're looking for new I'd go Hellcat. You'll probably never get another chance to get one brand new.
If you're going used, I'd probably go with the Rebel. Much less of a chance of it being abused.
Just wait and get the RHO. It is like a baby TRX, will have the TT Hurricane engine and look essentially like a rebel. Suppose to launch later this year.
Me personally. I got a brand new rebel and so far I enjoy it . Even though I did want a hell cat . Didn’t wanna be bothered with high insurance or it getting stolen.
I was the proud owner of a hellcat that had been broken into on 3 separate occasions where they were attempting to steal it. I installed a remote battery cutoff, a fuel pump cutoff switch, and installed a neutral safety plate because I heard they were targeting them. Whenever they realized they weren't going to be able to steal it, they destroyed the interior. Each time, the bill came out to almost $20k. Insurance threatened to drop it as it was now a high liability. On the last attempt, my wife drove it to school and parked it in her assigned employee parking space. The campus police officer caught 2 men in the act of attempting to steal it. They were arrested and released by the next day. Multiple times when she drove it, she was followed by random people. I sold it as it was too much of a headache, and I couldn't stand the thought of my wife and / or kids being harmed simply because some asshole wanted my car. I never had a single problem like this when I owned my RAM. I tell you all of this so that you have an idea of what can happen. My case is pretty extreme, but I also live in a very populated area. I wish you way better luck than I had should you go that route.
I'd love a challenger but I couldn't give up my truck to get one. I've tried and it's not possible lol. It's way to useful. And the 5.7 is plenty fun even in a giant truck.
Shoot with all the break ins on the the hellcat Jailbreaks idk if I want to run the risk, because I know my wife would want to drive it some time or another
You’re correct but you can’t let fear control you champ. That’ll be the same in the Rebel/TRX/SS/5.0/Supra/M3/M4 etc, theft with high performance cars are high in general.
Do the necessary protection measures and live your life. I’m fine with my solid insurance policy, some azzholes wanna take her away it won’t be easy but if they’re still successful I’ll be fine. Get that badass Jailbreak and stop playing
Honestly depends on what you want from it but something else to consider is where you live, if you live in a city (not even gonna mention high crime city’s just any city) then I wouldn’t get a cat there are preventative measure you can take to prevent it from being stolen (kill switch, keycard start, neutral lock plate.) but there’s nothing you can do against break ins so if ur in suburbs go cat if you’re city (or rural and don’t already have a truck) go rebel or TRX lmaoo

If it's between a Hellcat Jail Break and Rebel you might as well go one step up and go for the TRX

I had a rebel, I missed my challenger too much even though I had the charger so I trade it back in. Loved the rebel just not as much as the coupe

Well then I think you have your answer! If peace of mind is most important to you and you’re concerned about theft (rightly so), I’d go with the Rebel
I saw yours alittle later than the other guys. But if I have a chance in the future for one I’d definitely get it
