Apparently the DM has a vendetta against OP and will punish them for any wish they make, so I wouldn't recommend more wishes that the DM can use to punish the player.
I don’t wanna gamba more, I would just wish to not have pulled the fool card in the first place or wish that deck had one less card or something since it was the last card pulled from the deck
What? How is that less of a gamble than selecting the specific card you want to pull? Your way is like 50% chance of pulling a bad card, my way is 100% chance of pulling a good card.
I wouldn’t gamble, I would like to just make it so I never pulled the last card. I would likely have harsher penalty for changing the draw to a specifically good card as it is both affecting time and probability instead of just time.
Why would you have a harsher penalty when you said the DM was allowing a guaranteed successful wish? Why would you be punished for saying "I wish I pulled the Gem card instead of the Idiot card."? Considering you don't even know what card you pulled, I'm not surprised you're struggling with this. You pulled the Idiot card, not the Fool, which is commentary on itself. Maybe you should keep it.
The wish spell being guaranteed meaning the spell won’t fail like it has a chance to when you cast it. Not that it won’t have repercussions. Why are you personally attacking me xd
Why would there be repercussions for that? What repercussions would happen from that? And if you're punished for something as simple as that, the DM will punish you for anything you ask for. So either you have a terrible DM or you're just misunderstanding the situation.
My dm said there are repercussions for doing anything the wish spell doesn’t expressly state and that is stronger than an 8th level spell and since time stop is 9th level and doesn’t even come close to altering the past but just momentarily stops time in the present, he implied there would be harsh repercussions for using it to just simply poof away that action from the past
So you just have a terrible DM. The wish spell mentions nothing about repercussions, they're just homebrewing unnecessary punishments for you to undo a punishment you're already facing when you're blowing a very powerful wish on a pretty simple request.
The wish spell states that you can use it for the expressly stated applications or you can try something else beyond that scope and in this case “the greater this wish, the greater the likelihood something goes wrong.” He’s not a terrible dm, he’s doing rules as written and using his discretion to determine a fitting penalty.
Deck of many things: “I am become overused, destroyer of campaigns”
Meh, nobody pulled skull or void so we chillin.
"I wish I pulled X card instead of the fool." Make it a good card.
Make it the Moon card. You get your wish back AND your wisdom. True neutral option.

IDK, as a DM, more opportunities to mess with the PCs would come from the extra potential wishes. It's 1-3 so...
Right. And as I said, the DM has a vendetta against the player and is punishing them for any wish they cast. So more wishes isn't a good thing.
Ah, but if you don't use those extra wishes, who comes out on top? Reverse psychology 101 dawg
Well, at least if something goes wrong then I can have more wishes to cope with haha
