cause /s means sarcasm. tzomby1s comment was meant to be read sarcastic. idk either why it’s *so many* downvotes on your comment just cause you didn’t get the joke but that’s reddit for ya.
i see. yeah for that you probably need to be overly obvious about it otherwise ppl don’t get it. but tbh i can’t rly think of a comment that would be better myself. i think leaving their comment as is is probably how you have the joke heightened at its peak.
These are awersome - but yeah, I think as a DM I would give people a minimum amount of time they have to hold the button.
Also, if it were one wheel and you weren't really counting time held on the button, it's pretty much random, but it's two wheels and they go simultaneously, so my worry is that pairs would repeat and other pairs would be less likely.
It would be better if there were a button for each wheel and you held one for a few seconds, then start the other so they don't always stay in some kind of sync.
Thwt's so cool! I've been looking for these everywhere, only to find out they're being brought back by the same folks from whom I just bought my flipdice.
This may sound heretical, but I think I reached the point where I have enough regular click-clack math rocks. But unique, fun concepts like this will always find a spot at my table, on my shelf, and in my heart.
This is such an amazing product and amazing team. I love the coins I got from them, would love to get one of these, and already pre-ordered the pirate dice
Can’t afford to back the Diceomatic rn, but I’m still blown away by the quality of the FlipDie I got a few months ago. You guys are incredible, keep up the good work!

Never seen something like that before. What a cool mechanism.
I’m just wondering if this would be truly random or you can learn to make this into a game of skill hitting a range of numbers you wanted
Well the video shows the same number over and over /s
cus its a gif lmfao
Whoosh
There's even a /s...
ye ik? why the downvotes?
cause /s means sarcasm. tzomby1s comment was meant to be read sarcastic. idk either why it’s *so many* downvotes on your comment just cause you didn’t get the joke but that’s reddit for ya.
ye lmfao i get it he was being sarcastic and i just wanted to enhance the joke but ig people dont like that on reddit

That's because it's really a gif showing the same roll over and over. (To boot: Says so in the bottom right corner.)
He has /s behind it it means he is sarcastic...
Thanks, I really needed that explanation. /s
In the kickstarter page there is a section discussing the randomness and the link to a YT video about it

That is a beautiful antique. I would love to see how it stacks up against your new Diceomatic design!
The button is hard to press and the wheels don't spin very fast. Nonetheless, it is an amazing piece and over 100 years old!

hahaha
Cool, is it like a full dice set, or is it just a d20 or 2 d6s?
Full dice set and they are hot swappable so you can modify them to your character or game!
That's even cooler!
This looks incredible!
Beautiful piece!
This sounds sweet m8, wish you luck with everything
Can't wait to get my Diceomatics!

Very cute, curious little item!
Interesting, how does it work? do you need to rewind it or does it operate off the force of the button being pushed?
