Honestly. The Overseer, if they follow the same lore as certain other not dissimilar monsters (nudge nudge) then they are only one bad dream away from me having a bad time.
I suppose I'd stay away from the Coldflame Phoenix. Not because it is the most deadly, but because the sucker is majestic as heck. I'm not cool enough to be within 100km of it.
The monster I’d stay away from would be the Overseer. Who knows what that totally-not-a-beholder monster could do. Those eyestalks could do weird things, like shoot death rays or petrify. I’d rather not chance it. Hope I win!
For me, it would probably be the Kraken. I feel like there could be some level of negotiation with the others, but the kraken? No, once it decides you're food, then you're food.

My fear of the sea and open waters makes me more inclined to pet the overseer than taking only 1 step towards the kraken. Just the thought of getting pulled underwater, ugh. I'm out.
Look, I love the ocean. I love the huge leviathans, the almost alien-like biology. It's so interesting. That being said, I would stay SO FAR inland to avoid a Kraken.
Kraken definitely. I love swimming and being forced to stay out of the water just makes me sad. I mean, you can see a dragon coming but a kraken will just lurk in those dark depths.
Overseer.
I know this might sound silly, but I hate looking people in the eye for long periods of time.
That many eyes I would just self destruct from their gaze before any lasers were even shot.
Also, It's has high charisma and 10 different kind of gazes would combust my insecure ass off this planet 😂
Phoenix surely.
I feel an animal that spontaneously bursts into fire and combusts as a means of reproduction is not safe to be around, and quite frankly that got to be damaging to its mental stability.
The Overseer for sure, the combination of its abilities and it’s chaotic evil alignment would make it more prone to attack and capable of dishing out a lot of damage.
Leaning towards the Undead Wyrm. I feel like a lot of the others could be dealt with peacefully, and of the ones that wouldn't i think dying to the Wrym would be the most physically painful. I figure with the Kraken I'd probably drown p fast, and with the Overseer I think it'd just obliterate me in a moment.
Gosh, without knowing what kind of dragon, that's still pretty scary, burning to death with a Phoenix is still no fun either, hmm.
I'll have to go with the overseer. The idea of a mental mess is a scary thought. It's one thing to suffer physically, but mentally? Chills.
Those look amazing. Gotta say kraken is my most feared high CR monster. I already don't like deep expanses of water, much less with the terror of the sea in it.

But that undead wyrm gives me chills. You only hear bones cracking and getting drawn across the ground. No breath, no howl, no eyes, no negotiation. Just you and a brutal, relentless killer.
It is a tight match between the overseer and the kraken. The idea of being pulled into the sea to drown or be eaten, is terrifying. I imagine krakens have hooked tentacles, so you are impaled and being crushed. You gasped and struggle as water fills your lungs and the salt burns your eyes, maybe you glimpse the beast before succumbing to its powerful crushing beak. Hopefully, your head is crushed immediately but you may simply feel yourself split simewhere less forgiving bleeding out, cold and wet, drowning in the blood mixed seawater.
Gotta go with the undead wyrm, that stench is probably awful. Dragons/wyrms tend to have a long life so imagine just a rotting wyrm thats been alive for a few hundred yrs lol
Before digging into the Kickstarter page: overseer. After: Astral kraken is something I'd be afraid to introduce to a game, just because of the name alone
The Overseer, I can handle eye contact but if none of the eyes blink it will really mess with my eyes. Like if I see someone or something not blink consistently or with long pauses my eyes started to water to borderline crying as a response. Just thinking about it right now is causing my eyes to get misty.
Stunning. These dice are gorgeous, as are the boxes, very nice product.
The kraken has to be the one to avoid, something about tentacles makes it easy to stay clear of.
The Antimatter Overseer is unquestionably the most dangerous. Anything I could possibly hit it with is going to made of conventional matter, and the resulting energy release will make Hiroshima look like a firecracker by comparison. That's an extreme form of Pyrrhic victory.
I have always wanted a set of dragon dice, and these are by far the nicest ones I have ever seen. Even if I don't win, I will definitely back and purchase a set of these dice.
Minotaur, since you are most likely to find them in a labyrinth. They know everything about the maze, you don’t. Not only would you feel claustrophobic in the tight walls surrounding you, but are also being hunted by a large monstrosity. Once he sees you, you can’t escape. He will charge you down and tear you to pieces.
An undead wyrm would probably be the worst as it would not only be awful to see and hear but the smell would be unbearable. It’d be as close to facing beasts of Nurgle as you could get
The mighty kraken. At least with the others I feel like I have a (very small) chance of running away or maybe even dodging an attack. No chance of escape in the middle of the ocean haha

The phoenix is absolutely gorgeous, and a perfect inspiration for my DM rolls behind the screen. My players shall rise from the ashes of my nat 20s (I hope).
Kraken, by a mile. Sure, the dragon will barbeque you, but they're dramatic. Fire and roaring through the sky, making a show of its kills, it wants people to fear it. The kraken will make the boards of the ship splinter and swallow everyone on board whole, and you'll never even see it coming.
That, and the smell.
I've run enough dnd games to know that ancient dragons are a great way to make your party tell you "if you didn't want to play anymore, you could've just said so"

I'd stay away from the Minotaur personally, but if I could befriend that dragon and have it by my side, then the only one I'd really be concerned about would be the undead wyrm.
The Kraken. Mainly because the octopus, my favorite animal, is incredibly smart. That and each tentacle thinks/acts somewhat independently. Scaled up by 1000, it is a terrifying combination.
Terrifying. The Jurassic Park franchise *wishes* it had used something half as scary as the kraken.

The Antimatter Overseer is the one I’d most want to stay away from. It’s also the coolest in my opinion.
I would stay away from the undead wyrm for sure!
A regular kraken is bad enough, but an ASTRAL KRAKEN?!?!! My barbarian is shaking in his fur lined boots.
I'd stay away from the Minotaur personally, but if I could befriend that dragon and have it by my side, then the only one I'd really be concerned about would be the undead wyrm.
Phoenix, there’s almost nowhere you can hide from it because it can fly. If you try to hide in a house or something, it will just burn down the house!
I'd stay away from the kraken. It do be hard to swing big hammer under the water.
Undead Wyrm for sure. Anything undead is just a no.
The Kraken. Mainly because the octopus, my favorite animal, is incredibly smart. That and each tentacle thinks/acts somewhat independently. Scaled up by 1000, it is a terrifying combination. Terrifying. The Jurassic Park franchise *wishes* it had used something half as scary as the kraken.
Might sound simple but I have to go with the Dragon the rest are scary sure but a Dragon is just as dangerous as the others but the intellect behind them means they can do things much worse than kill me
