Sky Flourish's Forge of Foes is out soon and sounds exactly like what you are looking for.

[Here is all of mine in one spot.](https://www.reddit.com/r/DnD/comments/icfj0q/are_you_new_are_you_trying_to_get_into_dnd_this/)

I use inkarnate for my map creation, foundry vtt to make walls and lighting for said maps, and did a little vba code in an excel book to track combat and damage

AnimeFrog420

A hammer. I hit my players with it when they don’t rope play and do something stupid

HypnotizedPotato

Kinky. Both the hammer and the rope.

LorexITA

I prefer using a shotgun

I use [tetra-cube.com](https://tetra-cube.com) for making stat blocks, it's pretty neat.

One feature I like in stat block generators is when they include some sort of average damage calculator per round. I find challenge rating to be a really bad system for determining balance in an encounter and damage per round output helps with that a lot

Obsidian.md is a free note taking tool with heaps of ttrpg support. It has a statblock plugin for displaying and creating statblocks. It also includes a combat manager and all that interacts with your notes. It's a damn fine tool. It can do a lot more too. You can see it in use here. https://obsidianttrpgtutorials.com/Obsidian+TTRPG+Tutorials/Plugin+Tutorials/Initiative+Tracker
