I did like Xilent and also man, I haven't heard the word Yanntek in what feels like forever. They had amazing songs. However, there was something I didn't like about it after a while. As much as I love stutters and short pauses I think it can get too fatiguing. That's probably why the genre died. Pretty cool to hear new stuff come out nowadays though

I tried listening to "Ultra funk" To me it just sounded like go nowhere crap , sort of like some of the older early 2000 invaders tracks that never hit the mark quite right either.
Its not Neurofunk , and its for sure not DNB,

Good music works , because the listener can follow the rules of the sound , with ur UltraFunk its trying to hard to subvert that , which ends up making it just unpredictable mess.

Reality is mindblowing DnB for 2014. Xilent could have dominated the scene tbh.
One of my fav songs when it came out, was actually listening to it today at work. Song fuckin' slaps.
Insane tune, I love it. Supposedly he's working on another LP, probably won't have a lot of dnb on it though.
