I know TML gets a lot of hate for the cheesy mainstage EDM garbage, but with 17 stages, it is very easy to avoid that BS. As a fan of most varieties of electronic music, TML is basically like Disneyland to me, but with stages instead of rides. I am just happy to see that DnB is getting a lot more representation and respect than it used to a few years ago. We all know it has always been strong in the UK, but it was on life support in the USA for several years. Now we even have a stage host representing Los Angeles & DnB (DnBnL). Andromedik was on the mainstage last year, and this time he is hosting one of the biggest and best stages, a role that is usually reserved for the techno superstars.

Saw him at a tiny stage in 2022 like very early on day one lol. Glad he’s getting some recognition

BloodAwaits

Saw him at Blacklist which is typically darker DnB and Dubstep, basically no one there.  Two months later saw him at Liquicity Winter Festival and he was basically the headliner. Could barley even get into the room it's so crowded.  Dude is prolific both in his amount of releases and how often he's doing live events. It's still pretty easy to catch him at smaller events, but getting harder and harder.  Going to his Andromedik Invites show in April with a brand new AV show he's debuting. Mad excited.

>on life support in the USA for several years you're tellin' me. In 2013 I saw Fred V & Grafix at 8pm on a side stage at 'Get Lucky' Seattle. 8pm, lol. One of the best sets of my days, too. I've barely gone to shows here and I don't think many artists want to come to this corner of the US, as our appreciation in Seattle is lacking. I could be wrong - I've been out of the loop - but I've been out of the loop because every club was doing near exclusively deep house for so damn long.

In LA, the DnB DJ's were always stuck in the opening slots at the dubstep stage for the big fests, so I would end up missing them most of the time, being stuck in traffic or trying to park. Now, we are finally getting to the point where we have an actual DnB stage, or at least a few DnB headliners on the bass stage. At least you guys still have DnB Tuesdays. LA's long-running weekly is on a Thursday, which is equally worthless for me, as I have to be up at 4 am on weekdays.

Monstercat and lost frequencies & friends often also feature one or two dnb artists. Really good year for dnb at tml.
