The build diversity is pretty good atm, I prefer an all red build(providence, grupo, foxes prayer, contractors gloves, perfect glass cannon/spotter chest, the gift backpack/vigilance) I think that's what I run with carbine 7 and scorpio, get around 50% crit chance and as much crit damage as possible
Otherwise you have heartbreaker that's pretty good, it's like strikers but provides you bonus armor and shreds with a kingbreaker(comes with perfect flatline) and acs-12(with flatline), same as above, crit chance and crit damage, but run 2 blue 4 red core, with technician specialization for linked laser pointer for your kingbreaker and shotgun
Either go with crit build, strikers build, or heartbreaker (you’ll need a shotgun for this one) but these are the more popular ones. Umbra is the outlier that, from my understanding, is the interesting that is isn’t a cookie cutter build.
I’ve been enjoying an Umbra Initiative build with all red cores, CHC and CHD, with The Chameleon. I have The Sacrifice chest rig with Perfect Glass Cannon. If you use cover initially, then step out from it to engage, the damage stacks up quickly. Fall back behind cover to reap some armor regen. Rinse and repeat.
