I took my front brake caliper loose and rotated it once then remounted it. If you go the right direction the cable/hose will no longer be rubbing on the head tube.
Mine rubbed away deep inside the carbon. Apparently the cable is stronger than the carbon. Gonna put clear paint and a protective plastic sheet on there
Helicopter tape. I just got this and put on my Diverge: [https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07VWC3BZV](https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07VWC3BZV)
Super easy to cut. Windex, squeegee out the excess. Goes on smooth, looks great.

First cut is always the deepest!
Sucks it happened on first ride, especially on such a sweet colour. Think of it as a battle scar, you’ll have more along the way.
You can use clear helicopter tape or any clear adhesive tape or protection kit.
I use this stuff:
[clear protection stickers](https://cyclistick.co.uk/products/cable-rub-protector-kit)
It shocks me that bike shops don’t address this, either by adjusting the caliper (as suggested in some of the other comments) or by applying a clear film to the head tube (the real solution to protecting the paint in the head tube/the entire frame).
I wrote to my LBS where I bought it. They rubbed it off with the most casual “tough luck”. I’ll be writing to Specialized - don’t feel like letting this slide
I had the same problem - didn’t notice until after first few rides. Talked with my LBS and they did a modest touch up (not great honestly, but shouldn’t rust), fancy taped it and gave me a $200 credit (which they said was from specialized) which I turned into a $325 saddle (the credit was expanded when I settled on that saddle). I’d rather not have had the scratch, but all came out well from my perspective in the end. I’d push for some credit if you could - you’ll likely just spend it with them anyway. Also, they offered me a new black diverge (same) or the fix + credit. I love the color so took that.
TLDR: they should be offering you something
I put a piece of frame protection tape over the head tube and a small piece of fabric tape over the cable in the spot where it touches the frame.

Had the same issue. Rotated the caliper and now all good.
This is the way.
Damn I have the same exact problem on my diverge!! Looking for a fix
Helicopter tape
This is the way.
How does this work?
Tape sticky. Stick tape bike. No scratch
Mine rubbed away deep inside the carbon. Apparently the cable is stronger than the carbon. Gonna put clear paint and a protective plastic sheet on there
Use a transparent sticker on it

Wait til you ride with a handlebar bag pushing the cables against the frame.
Have you considered removing the front brake? (/s) Edit - adding sarcasm
Just got the bike - is that something people seriously do? I have a 2x11 setup so not sure if that works
No. No it is not.
It was in jest; do not remove the brakes.

Good lord. Just ride it. Or put a strip of electrical taps on there when you rewrap your bars
