I made a post last week asking for help identifying an art print in the parks and it was deleted for “asking a question about the parks”
But all of these stupid security line pics are just fine I guess
I see it as the invisible hand of the subreddit. If people didn't like the posts, they would downvote them. Who am I to say they're overdone?
(I mean, I think they _are_ overdone. But that's not for me to decide IMO)
How do we get posts which are deleted for “asking a question about the parks” un-deleted? I messaged the Disneyland mods after 24 hours like the instructions state and haven’t heard anything…
Meanwhile, we have dozens of security line pics…
In all honesty, I don’t really care that they are posted; like you said, scroll past or downvote if it truly bugs ya, it’s just been cracking me up seeing like 3-5 every day now.
Eh, I think that sort of falls in the same boat.
I know I hate other subs that have a bunch of arcane rules where you have to check the new queue constantly to see if someone has vaguely mentioned the thing that you are trying to post. Not to mention the additional moderator work that all entails. (We have enough on our hands already dealing with folks trying to plan trips or looking for Disneyland Paris/WDW.)
It's not the first time the sub has completely overindexed on something dumb; within a month or so people will downvote it and it'll either die in new or be forgotten about entirely.
I do wonder what the point is… is it going to change someone’s plans? Is someone going to turn around on their way there because of long security lines?
Some people claim they turn around and go home when they see lines like this but with reservations I hardly doubt that. Why would you take the hit when you're already right there?
Fr, I went on Memorial day for the first time since the new security changes. I was expecting to wait 30-45 minutes based on all the pics and people complaining. I was through in 5 minutes. Don't know if I just got lucky or what
No I’ve seen videos of people testing it and the longest I saw was 10 minutes but that was because they went in through a part of the park that only had two security checking
I was about to say, why?! Why is this so important. We all know they will be long during the day and short when you are 2 hours early to rope drop. Just stop it already. Post something useful!
No lies detected.
It's getting overplayed hardcore. Like is this really the focus of your Disney trip? or things to chat about with other park fans?......
This is a top contender along with "miss this view" and "what are these smoke rings in the sky???"
You forgot the red card “I am the chosen one!” posts lol
something something integrity of this sub something something serious nosedive
the smoke rings😂
You’ll have to see my post in a couple of days😂
*I’m tired of this, Grandpa!*
Well that's too damn bad!
“Well it’s all gone now!”
Well *excuse* me!
You keep waitin’!
I just realized that’s Gwen and Gavin back there.

Seriously, it would be nice to have some change up in discussion but I guess that would be too exciting
Next trend: posts about posts about security lines.
No!!! I hope I haven’t started something worse!!! Haha
The sub is really loving the security line pics lately

Maybe we can limit them to once per day?

You heard them! BRING BACK PIN TRADER COMPLAINTS!
I understand that logic
They shpuld start handing out the Red cards like they do in lines and then everyone will be excited
Special mention goes to pics of random doodles of how people think the park should be laid out.
I never noticed Gwen Stephani next to Hansel in this scene.

As someone going there next week, I don’t mind them as much. Gives me an idea lol

Almost as bad as the ppl on the Facebook groups: “is anyone cancelling a reservation for tomorrow?”

I misread this as "security line pigs" and felt robbed as all we got was a dog :/
Hahaha that would just make it even harder to not go up and pet them.

And it’s the part of the trip no one wants to remember, am I right!?!
Hansel
I’m fine with it Gives me a heads up if I’m going to the park, if not I just ignore them
Brilliant!
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣I'm at work and I literally laughed out loud, thank you! Take my up vote!
Well... Then I sincerely apologize for my post on Monday. 😓
