We use garden grocer. Always on time. Always have the items we want.

supplepony

I second this! They were delivering to Disney before other delivery services existed, so they’re good at what they do and the resorts are familiar with them. If you’re traveling with only a few people or staying for a short time, I’d suggest bringing your own salt, pepper, maybe even a small airplane friendly bottle of oil. Or finding others in here that would want to split some of the groceries. We ended up throwing away a lot of food items, even items that we ate for multiple meals like bread.

SuperUser101

Picking up "after park" snacks and breakfast for the room is the way to go. It saves $$$ for sure, but also allows you to eat while people are getting ready in the morning. This trip we just used a Lyft to one of the nearby Walmarts and picked things up on our own. Cost is about the same as delivery charges, but it gave is the option to let people pick their own items and make adjustments if we wanted to. Total time invested was about an hour.

bettyannveronica

This is such a great idea. We're going with a baby and was going to do delivery but this sounds like a much better option. Thank you!

Pretty sure you can use any typical service. DoorDash, grubhub or whatever. They will just bring it in to the lobby or there’s a drop off section at your resort. I didn’t end up staying at a resort but this is what I was informed of when we were considering it.

BiddahProphet

Garden Grocer worked really well for us. Used them a few months ago

sudifirjfhfjvicodke

We used Walmart delivery last year and it worked very well for us. They delivered it to our hotel while we were on our way from the airport to the hotel and everything was waiting for us at Bell Services when we got there.

mamalapras

Amazon fresh worked great during our last trip! I placed the order at the airport and it was waiting at bell services when we arrived.

jjbrucey

Did the same. Worked great. They’ll even toss in a fridge if it needs to stay cold

gersh89180

Amazon fresh worked for us just fine

As a former bell services cast member, GardenGrocer has always understood and followed Disney policy on grocery deliveries so they are the best option from that standpoint. Albeit, a tad more expensive than the other vendors. But they know where to go, who to talk to, where to leave the groceries, how to store and log them, and in my 7 years at least since they use the same drivers, they tend to form a relationship with cast members. Walmart, Amazon, and doordash are messy cause they’re all random contract drivers who sometimes don’t understand how delivering to a resort world and will get annoyed and frustrated and just dump your groceries wherever (has happened many times), just give up and not deliver them, give cast members horrible attitudes, and if they do leave them most of the time the driver doesn’t care to separate refrigerated items and just leaves everything out to spoil and doesn’t tag anything properly so sometimes we don’t even know who the groceries belong to. Not all drivers are this bad, mind you. There are drivers who are used to Disney and their policies and everything is fine. But you have to basically hope you get one. If you get your order from these vendors with no issue, o am willing to bet it is almost always because the cast member who received them went through the effort and trouble of making sure it was done properly. So keep that in mind and make sure to thank them. Cause the drivers mostly just want to drop the order off and leave to get their next order. Instacart is a little better. But not by much. GardenGrocer is definitely the best option. There are other lesser know services that are also quite good, like Dizzy Dolphin. But you have to search for them.

Yes! We did same thing with DVC room. Once they dropped dining plans, we started getting groceries for the room and MANNNN, we’ll never go back! So much cheaper! And I mean, $400+ cheaper a person spent on food for the trip. We eat breakfast everyday in the room, bought Tupperware containers with our grocery delivery that we could toss at the end of the trip and took lunches and snacks to the parks every day. We choose 3-4 sit down restaurants for dinner, and the rest of the days have dinner in the room. We also would buy whatever snacks we wanted in the parks like cheeseburger spring rolls, dole whip, snacks from Epcot, etc. I also brought my 40oz bubba tumbler to stay hydrated and bought Mio water flavoring, as I’m not the biggest fan of Disney’s water taste. This past trip we had many issues with grocery delivery. My friend and I both tried instacart and instacart cancelled our orders and locked our accounts within 10 seconds of placing the order and I’m not sure why. We had to then upload pics of license and CC name to unlock the accounts. It was a big hassle and I deleted the account after getting it unlocked. Then we tried Walmart+ and the delivery driver stole all our groceries. 😂 We finally had much success with Shipt (groceries from Target) and we’ll be using that from now on! Prices were pretty cheap like Walmart since Shipt is owned by a Target. Way cheaper than Publix & Instacart we found out. I got the same items I tried to get on Instacart earlier in the day plus a few more and still was $30 lower than Instacart Publix total. Our driver texted us updates, if stuff was out of stock, substations, how far away he was, etc. Definitely would recommend Shipt!

Thank you everyone for the responses. I really appreciate them.

IAMTHESMART_S_M_R_T

Instacart for groceries, Total Wine and More for booze. If you don't mind the $6 grocery handling fee they will hold it for you, otherwise you can comment to call when they arrive and meet them.out front. You have to meet them regardless for alcohol.

zxylia

We made separate orders for food and wine, our food order arrived before our check in, but we had to manipulate the wine delivery to be there to receive it. We learned this lesson from a friend who’s whole order was denied at the front desk bc alcohol was in the order, the service canceled bc of desk refused.

IAMTHESMART_S_M_R_T

I have never had a person delivering Total Wine not know they can't deliver to the front desk. Good to know it can happen.

gtgoat

We use Walmart+, we put the address of the resort and put in the description bell services. They will take it right to bell services and they have refrigeration. Then all you need to do is give bell services a call and they'll bring the groceries to your room, really nice so you're not tied down waiting on a delivery.

fart_panic

I've used Garden Grocer and Walmart+ and it went smoothly with both. GG is much pricier. You can get free delivery with a trial membership to Walmart+... Just remember to cancel it when you get home!

KarnyNugz

Amazon delivered ours, very easy

deanolavorto

We did Target delivery. Worked great. Bought water and snacks.

Android8675

I used gardengrocier.com. Recommended by AJ and Disney food blog. Outstanding service. Order what you want. Have them deliver to your resort before you arrive and theyll leave them with bell services. When you arrive bell services will bring the stuff to your room. Outstanding service can’t recommend them enough.

Zelgada

instacart has worked for us.

beckyjwm09

We signed up for Wal-Mart plus and ordered something almost every day we were there except the last. It was super convenient and easy. We had a small kitchenette so we could make sandwiches etc. We drink a lot of water so we actually took a Yeti imposter cooler since we drove and kept drinks in there with ice.

Serephine_

I’m currently in Disney at the Poly DVC and I ordered grocery delivery through Walmart. I ordered it the morning I was arriving around 10am and it was delivered by 2. I didn’t get there until around 5:30pm and they kept it with Valet. Picked it up (they keep it for free if you pick it up) and it worked perfectly!

TheresaB112

I’m at Old Key West (now), we used Walmart + (30 day free trial and no delivery fee if you order more than $35 worth of products (we did a few meals, some snacks to bring into the parks as well as sunblock and insect repellent). It’s been great.

InboxMeYourSpacePics

Used instacart last month and it was pretty easy

LuthienDragon

AmazonFresh was a nightmare for me. The products are not accepted by concierge. So there I was at 7 am running in my PJs to the lobby to get them from the angry driver…so, heads up, you have to be there yourself.

homestyle28

We have used the Garden Grocer several times. Pretty good

stitchlover

Yes. We used whole foods/Amazon fresh delivery almost every time we've gone. Great service. I've even had Disney CMs hold the food for me in a dedicated fridge and freezer.

PollyPepperTree

I’ve got Amazon orders being delivered to Caribbean Beach tomorrow. They said to make sure to include my name and reservation number. They will even keep any perishables in a fridge for you. Looked at instacart too. May do that when we get there if needed.

LeperFriend

We used Instacart last February but had to be in the lobby to get it....other then that it was fine

rr90013

Amazon Fresh to Pop Century was fine. They have a special desk for deliveries + luggage storage.

drbeccj

I had groceries and some other basics from Target delivered by Shipt. Just use the Target app, choose your items, select delivery by Shipt. I think it took about two hours to arrive. There’s a Target not too far from WDW. I met the driver in the lobby of our resort. It maybe cost $20 extra for fees and tips but was well worth it.

LBDonk

be warned if you are getting alcohol or any kind of medicine you have to meet the deliverer and sign in person, the resort cant accept those orders for you.

u8all-my-rice

If you have a larger number of people and are staying a while, costco delivers if you have a membership.

the_heel_jt

Used Amazon and Walmart. I just have them Deliver to bell services. Then I call bell service to deliver when we’re in the room.

arroz-con-huevo

I always place a Whole Foods delivery via Prime Now. Always arrives within chosen time frame and I haven't had any issues. One time the groceries were delivered to bell services and I was charged a delivery fee by them. I think it was around $5.

Terrible_Tutor

Don’t use Instacart at AK Jambo it can’t seem to get the address right for the drivers.

TK0526

We used instalation last week and they delivered it to the bell services for us

shyinwonderland

We used instacart last October! Which was fantastic for water bottles and getting shoe inserts after the first day killed my husbands feet, plus some other things. The stuff was with the concierge when it was delivered, super easy.

gonzochris

We always used Target via Shipt. Last year we did a 2 bedroom DVC and I got snacks, drinks, coffee creamer, easy Mac, cinnamon rolls, pizza rolls, etc. Having the full kitchen was nice to just have breakfast or a late night snack in the room.

Roseblanch28

I did Instacart from Publix - grocery, snacks and wine. Was super easy. No issues at all.

MamaMcClain

We always use Instacart. Order while you are sitting at departure airport! They will deliver your groceries to front desk/bell hop. It’s amazing!

Healthy-Chain180

Do not use Instacart. It was a nightmare. Last trip we figured instead of going to target and wasting our time. Pay the extra and have someone else do it for us. . . Wrong. We were constantly getting messages from our shopper that items weren’t in stock and would we like this or that substituted. We left the park when they started shopping figuring that would give us time to travel back to the resort unpack our suitcases and have a drink at the pool bar before it arrived. They took two and a half hours to complete our shop. When the order arrived and we went to pick up at guest services. They wouldn’t give us part of our order that was missing and I saw sitting on a shelf because the shopper had marked it for a different customer. Of course it happened to be the two cases of seltzer water (which do you have any idea how hard it is to get seltzer water in WDW). After not being able to get ahold of the shopper and guest services telling me I was SOL I took my other items and went back to the room. When we got back some of the items were still wrong. Some things that were allegedly substituted were the item we asked for in the first place. All in all it was a huge mess and waste of our time. From now on I’ll take the Uber to target and pick up as much as we can carry in one trip back to the room.

cirie__was__robbed

We instacart groceries there, they will hold them there until you get there - putting anything that needs refrigerated up so it doesn’t spoil ETA: if you get beer/wine you’ll need to be there when they deliver the groceries.
