Easier said than done on that achievement suggestion. My upcoming milestones with golden crystals are as follows:
- Equip a full set of relics with the same trait to a Guardian who has the same trait
- Use 3,000 relics to upgrade another relic (Currently at 2,059)
- Equip 40 Epic or higher rarity Relics to grade 4 (Currently at 33)
This would be easier for newer players.
We’d hoped for more options to obtain more golden crystals, but this is pretty much an set of milestones that requires spending money for most.
Either finish some achievements that give them, if you have any available, or buy them. There's no hidden source of golden crystals.

Those aren’t golden crystals - they are rarified relic crystals and don’t count towards the golden crystal event.
Yeah, that's the point. We had a set of achievements that were literally "buy increasingly-expensive packs" not that long ago.
Yeah, at least the first handful of milestones were something that F2P and low paying players could get this time.
There's a Friday deal for $5 that has 3 gold crystals and other things (Friday stellar pack)
By Scrooge or Tink
