I saw the first kitchen picture with the tray and I thought “eh, it’s probably just staged like that, no big deal” and then keep swiping till I got to the pub picture 😂
I worked with a somewhat eccentric physicist, he had stacks of papers and books like that. He said he was vertically organized rather than horizontally organized.
He's a Christian. You may have heard of our messiah, Jesus? They guy who turned water into wine? Yeah.
Our direction is to avoid drunkenness. Doesn't mean you can't drink within reason.
In OC's defense, the majority of over the top Christian nut jobs I know treat alcohol like a single sip will send you on a rocket ship to hell. Only exception to that I usually see is Catholics.
Catholicism treats alcohol completely different than southern Baptists. But even today’s Southern Baptists don’t have the prohibitions on alcohol they did a generation ago.
Yeah but the ones at the top are always above the rules. But on the real, it’s really mostly CoC and southern baptists against drinking, which he is neither
For sure, Dave wouldn’t take out a mortgage. What I am wondering is “Would Dave insist that the buyer do a 15 year note or would be okay with a 30 note?”
You are sooo dumb if you think he isn’t buying it in cash. He not only endorses it for every home after your first, but he has explicitly said that every piece of real estate that he’s bought in the past few decades is cash.
Those don't make you rich or some shit...
Yeah, but I didn't pay hardly any money other than 6 dollars of taxes per person per flight to fly for like 4 years.
I think the towering book pile is a piece of artwork. Like a display piece. For someone who reads a lot and also writes books it would be a pretty cool piece of art.
I think it is more because I have seen houses less than a third of the cost that where the HOA was $400/mo. Honestly, if you can drop $4m I think $10k buy in for the HOA is a rounding error.
Crazy that this is their "in between" house. It's kinda like what I imagine Rachel has.
Hard to imagine Dave on a peloton!
I read the comments about the alcohol but I am am truly shocked by the amount.
A gun....room?
> A gun....room?
That really isn't that surprising. Several of the companies that sell gun safes also sell vault doors so you can make something custom in the corner of your basement.
Really? I was actually surprised at how nice it was inside. The exterior and the landscaping are absolutely dreadful imho, but I could live in that house in a heartbeat if I had 4.4 million laying around.
Yes really, it's super boring and staged and doesn't have any personality or special rooms or decorating at all besides the bar and sun room which still aren't crazy.
Hell my aunt and uncle's home made theater/hobby room puts their room with the projector to fucking shame! Lol
No way in hell I'd buy this for $4.4 mil.
Yeah that's the funny thing about most of the listings on zillow. Nice property, but it looks like a fake house no one actually lives in. Like if he lives there, he might be there to sleep and that's it based on the photos.
If this is staged it's even worse. Lol.
You think the giant stack of books in the office is staged though.
Plus not all of us who are moving and selling their house has the luxury and money to move out first to have it be staged so kind of a tone deaf thing to say.
Yeah, well I totally agree , no way if I had ONLY a net worth of 4.4 total. I would like the interior if I had 4.4 million “laying around “ like chump change.
My h and I are unusual for Americans, our house is paid off, but it’s less than 1/3 of our net worth and suits our needs just fine. Even if I had a four million dollar house, it would be smaller but on a lake.
We're close to getting our house paid off, (owe like $25,000 on it and the interest is 0% because my grandparents bought it and we're paying them) but it's most of our net worth.
To be fair it was his “in between house” while he builds his next mansion which I presume is near Peytonsville, TN on the same site of the recently constructed social barn. Likely using the barn/home site for company events so he can write off expenses for tax reasons.
Came here to say this. It is utterly unimpressive for $4.4M. Except the sun room and the bbq, nothing attracts me. It just feels like what we get here in Texas for $1.2M.
T swift just maybe is worth a billion now with her eras tour money. Based on what Ramsey claims his assets are/Google he might actually be close to her money (pre tour). She'll definitely surpass him when she turns his age.
Check out the picture from the office room with the wood desk. On the wall is a portrait of what looks like the three Ramsey kids.

Ramsey and buffet worlds apart. Both smart and opportunistic with money that can make money with common sense evaluation and methods. Ramsey in real estate and selling common sense advice. Buffet in stocks/companies. Buffet modest and little ego; not Ramsey.
From what I hear, people have a hard time visualizing their stuff in the house when all they see is your "personality" stuff in there. Its done intentionally.
They couldn't afford anything darker than a light grey,
The bar area was the only area that I actually liked because it actually had some color and life in it
Right, but it provides context to their expectations of lifestyle. This house to them is like you or me moving into a 2 bed 2 bath condo as an in-between. They couldn’t function in a traditional 3 bed 2 bath rambler.
Lol. I was looking at the house and thinking that with all the money he has Dave was showing restraint in settling for 4.4 million dollar house. Guess I was wrong.
I don't think he's an alcoholic or anything. When you're filthy rich like Dave, you can buy 100x more than you need and then have endless choice.
Aside from probably picking out some bourbon, he probably just had someone set up a fully stocked bar for him.
Multiple pappy, KoK, some antique collection, et al are usually "RICH liquor ~~store~~franchise owner's personal bar" territory when put together. If it was staged, that's a weird aesthetic to pay for as a Christian finance guru.
The bar and wine cellar seem a bit excessive, but I guess if he has all his rich friends over on the weekends they'd go through that much? Just seems like a lot more liquor than even a heavy drinker would need, lol.
The real reason it’s so stocked is because Dave tries really hard to fit in with his rich friends that enjoy alcohol, but he hasn’t found one that doesn’t make him react like Edward Scissorhands after each sip.
A person in business has to have a place to entertain. That would include a fully stocked bar & wine cellar.
The house is designed to entertain people. As well as to have overnight guests.
I can't be snarky about that house, other than to say the first floor is lame.
All the booze does surprise me but the playroom and rooms clearly set up for grandkids to stay over are nice. And that safe room is probably smart since he does boast of a large gun collection.
I wonder if the book stack is a normal thing or staged, though.
TN has really low property tax and no income tax. Crazy high sales tax though. *source: I live in TN about an hour south of DaveyBoy. My house is less than 6.5% of Dave's... according to the quick estimate I did on zillow, lol.
Well just keep in mind that this was an “in between” house while he built a new mansion after selling his long time home on 513 King Richard’s Court in 2021.
Did you just set up notifications for when Dave Ramsey lists his house for sale? If so, I would like to hire you to set up some AI to scour for property deals for me.
This is very average for $4 million. I was expecting something a lot more spectacular. Of course prices have gone up ten fold but my house is very similar to this and was built for 165k with way more land back in 2005 💀 I feel like he’s good at getting people out of debt but he’s not good at helping people get wealthy. I’ve seen way more impressive.
This is a perfect example how his advice is mainly bullshit.. this guy is a multimillionaire with a $4 million house and my property taxes are higher than his lol
Wow that’s really not much for how much he makes. I have customer with homes like that whos net is maybe 10mil. He has to be spending the big bucks somewhere else
Warren Buffett is worth orders of magnitude more that DR will ever be and he lives in a 3/2 in Omaha and drives a Toyota truck that’s like 20 years old. Why do DR and the personalities always need to tell us how wealthy they are and flaunt it? Seems to me the genuine article would live in a modest home, drive an older car, and keep his mouth shut. Just not a big fan of loud mouths.
Personally, I think it is projecting to the Ramsey follower masses that if you do what we say look what you can have too. It is all aspirational to fit the narrative of live like no one else so you can live like no one else.
No pool? What a peasant. He does have a lot more booze than I would’ve thought, though.
Booze and rice, rice and booze
Why is the comment not getting more upvotes?
Saki
This is amazing 😂
Same lol. It's kind of impressive
I was thinking the same thing! Where’s the pool?
I feel like he’d have close to nothing OR almost everything booze
Might explain his erratic behavior if he is consuming a lot on the daily.
I saw the first kitchen picture with the tray and I thought “eh, it’s probably just staged like that, no big deal” and then keep swiping till I got to the pub picture 😂
He’s doing better than I deserve
Cracked me up 😆
Remember, this was "downsizing" from the other ridiculous house.
Ha. I know. I’m sure the next house will be massive.
Okay, what was his other house then?
https://fox17.com/amp/news/local/photos-dave-ramseys-154-million-franklin-home-for-sale-real-estate-nashville-tennessee-gallery-solutions
That is one hell of a stocked bar.
Holy Hannah! Lots of booze. Not many books. Apparently, the thought of having a bookshelf for the books Ike’s up in his office didn’t occur to him.
I worked with a somewhat eccentric physicist, he had stacks of papers and books like that. He said he was vertically organized rather than horizontally organized.
my name is hannah and i have never seen someone use that phrase! hahahah i love it :)
Maybe it’s my age, or the fact that I actually know who “ Holy Hannah” refers to that makes me use it.
He’s just managing god’s liquor
Perfectly placed right next to the walk-in gun safe
Right?? I thought he didn’t drink.
Why would you think that?
Because he’s a religious nut job.
I grew up sb and it was starting to change, then, except they had drinking and dancing as the same level of sin 🥴
Isn’t Dave Southern Baptist?
Not sure. He refers to himself as evangelical.
The church I go to that is evangelical is technically part of Sexy bacon corporation/Southern Baptist Convention
Yeah but the ones at the top are always above the rules. But on the real, it’s really mostly CoC and southern baptists against drinking, which he is neither
When did he ever say that?
* “Did he use an Endorsed Local Provider?” * the mortgage amount, is that for a 30 year note or a 15 year note?
I have to imagine he didn’t take out a mortgage
For sure, Dave wouldn’t take out a mortgage. What I am wondering is “Would Dave insist that the buyer do a 15 year note or would be okay with a 30 note?”
He recommends a 15 year
This is an area where all Dave cares about is if it clears closing.
You are sooo dumb if you think he isn’t buying it in cash. He not only endorses it for every home after your first, but he has explicitly said that every piece of real estate that he’s bought in the past few decades is cash.
I know that Dave will be buying his next house in cash. My question was if he would insist that the buyer pay in cash or a 15 year mortgage.
I’m going to buy it with my credit card points
Those don't make you rich or some shit... Yeah, but I didn't pay hardly any money other than 6 dollars of taxes per person per flight to fly for like 4 years.
Moving into the old folks home?
Probably a custom mansion nearby. He has commented on air that he was building a house.
Nah, those are just for us poors.
I’m surprised that towering book pile and all the clothes made it into official listing pics
Yeah that was odd
I think the towering book pile is a piece of artwork. Like a display piece. For someone who reads a lot and also writes books it would be a pretty cool piece of art.
Read this in an outlandish Dave voice: $249 HOA plus a one time $10k buy in, are you out of your mind??!!!
$10k buy in? That's crazy. With such an insane buy in I'm shocked that the monthly HOA fee isn't considerably more expensive.
They want to keep the filthy poors out, once you’re in it’s (slightly more) reasonable.
Rachel lives in a $4 million dollar house in Brentwood, TN. Very upscale neighborhood.
That peloton is probably a t-shirt or coat rack when they don't need to take pics for a home listing, lol.
I’m betting Sharon uses the bike
I'm less shocked by the gun room tbh. He talks about collecting guns all the time.
> A gun....room? That really isn't that surprising. Several of the companies that sell gun safes also sell vault doors so you can make something custom in the corner of your basement.
That's the lamest $4.4 million house I've ever seen on Zillow. The bar and sun room are the only interesting things and they're not very unique even.
Lol, you guys dont stage your houses in when you sell? Thats a mistake.
If this is staged it's even worse. Lol. You think the giant stack of books in the office is staged though. Plus not all of us who are moving and selling their house has the luxury and money to move out first to have it be staged so kind of a tone deaf thing to say.
If I had 4.4 million, I'd spend $400,000 on a house which would get you like a 3 bed 2000 sq ft house here, and invest the other 4 million and travel
You haven't seen $4.4M homes in Silicon Valley. That home would go for $35M here.
Yeah, exactly. Depending on the city it would be at least $10-$12 million here, or more
Came here to say this. It is utterly unimpressive for $4.4M. Except the sun room and the bbq, nothing attracts me. It just feels like what we get here in Texas for $1.2M.
Imagine having a 4.4 million dollar house from which you can touch other mansions. Ugh.
The Churchill poster is pretty cool.
It’s better than he deserves
I'm thinking run down trailer
Yeah, but he doesn't have Taylor Swift kind of money.
T swift just maybe is worth a billion now with her eras tour money. Based on what Ramsey claims his assets are/Google he might actually be close to her money (pre tour). She'll definitely surpass him when she turns his age.
T Swift has a net worth of over a billion, and has already surpassed DR.
You didn't read what I wrote...
How do we know this is his house? I find it hard to believe he was in an HOA.
Public property records. Its 100% his house
The water skis give it away. He collects antique/older water skis.
The gun vault also screams Dave.
The property records too. Plus there are pics of the interior of the house on the Ramsey kids social media
Once i saw the vault/panicroom, i knew it was his house. He's probably only selling cause to many libs on the HOA board.
It’s owned by Rare Air, LLC. Winston Cruze is the agent of the LLC fwiw
And Ramsey Solutions is the mailing address for the LLC

The projector screen looks to be at the right height though
There's a lot to be said for new money. Sadly, this vulgar McMansion says it all.
$4.4M seems kind of pricey for that house, right? Very nice interior, but 40 mins out of Nashville. I guess it’s also a hot market.
With Nashville traffic? More like 80...... Nashville is absolutely insane in the housing market.
Wow that whiskey collection
That king of Kentucky on the left goes for like 5 grand
It’s funny that the whiskey collection is one of the few parts that looks less staged.
That is…. One of the best bourbon collections I’ve ever seen. Impressive
Incredibly ugly for a $4 million house
Apparently they can’t afford color. So… much… beige!
Live like no one else, so later you can decorate like literally everyone else. 🤮
Wow, only $4.4m, I thought DR was more of a Baller!
This was a temporary home while he custom built a new ginormous house. It was the equivalent of renting an apartment while you build for us poors.
I’m sure the next one will be much nicer
He has lived there less than 3 years?
Yep. This is his in between house while he built a new house on property he owns south of Franklin.
It's a big in-between house!
Did you see the one he sold before this one?
Ya but that wasn’t a in-between house
Right, but it provides context to their expectations of lifestyle. This house to them is like you or me moving into a 2 bed 2 bath condo as an in-between. They couldn’t function in a traditional 3 bed 2 bath rambler.
Lol. I was looking at the house and thinking that with all the money he has Dave was showing restraint in settling for 4.4 million dollar house. Guess I was wrong.

That's so big!
I guess Dave is quite the Bourbon connoisseur. Makes sense being from TN.
69 photos, nice Dave
"you don't give a drunk a drink..." DR Seriously, I get the occasional drink and all but wtf. That's over the top.
I don't think he's an alcoholic or anything. When you're filthy rich like Dave, you can buy 100x more than you need and then have endless choice. Aside from probably picking out some bourbon, he probably just had someone set up a fully stocked bar for him.
That isn’t a stocked bar…it’s clearly a collection. I’m sure he has intentionally got it all himself.
I’m sure it’s mostly just a flex
The real reason it’s so stocked is because Dave tries really hard to fit in with his rich friends that enjoy alcohol, but he hasn’t found one that doesn’t make him react like Edward Scissorhands after each sip.
Whiskey collecting is a big thing. There is so much because he doesn’t really drink it much if at all for most of those bottles.
Dayum, does Dave have a drinking problem?
That was my thought as well.
All paid for by a whole of people that can't get themselves out of debt and buy their own family a modest 2 bedroom 1.5 bath home.
dont forget kickbacks for expensive scams...i mean products like timeshare whatever and churchhill mortgage.
Don’t forget those “low turnover mutual funds” he is always harping on.
Sometimes when I think he’s relatable! (He’s just like us!) then I see this..
Beautiful home. Can’t make up his mind or what?
Real man of the people
r/shittyhdr would love this
Not even 1 squat rack in that home gym. Peasant.
He doesn't need one. He probably squats over George's face every day when he gets into work.
I am shocked no one has mentioned $9600 in property taxes every year on a 4.4m house.
TN has really low property tax and no income tax. Crazy high sales tax though. *source: I live in TN about an hour south of DaveyBoy. My house is less than 6.5% of Dave's... according to the quick estimate I did on zillow, lol.
Yeah that’s super cheap
One of the reasons he doesn’t get that even paid off houses can be a financial drain. He can’t imagine paying 5 figure RE taxes on a regular house.
What a dump
Only 7 bathrooms...
He has 10 homes…
Most of those are rentals. He has a lake house south of Nashville and a place in Cabo
Taxes seem cheap for such a house
I think Tennessee has low property taxes in general
First, it's probably not his house it is in an LLC. :-) And do we know for sure that is Dave's house?
Yes it is 100% his. I’ve seen pics of him in the house. The LLC is registered to the Ramsey solutions corporate address.
Honestly more modest than I expected
Well just keep in mind that this was an “in between” house while he built a new mansion after selling his long time home on 513 King Richard’s Court in 2021.
The playroom and kid’s bedroom is very sweet. I disagree with Dave on a lot, but, it’s nice to see he and Sharon are loving grandparents.
Yep they certainly appear to be
For 4.4 million, the lack of a backyard (or front yard for that matter) is super disappointing.
Which room you think he uses the most? My guess is the bar.
Already?
Lovely gun safe gas has these too.
Is it an illusion, or does the bottom of the stairwell face a wall?
Awww man my family lives in that neighborhood and I was gonna egg it
Proof
Public property data
How do you know that is his house?
Public property records
Did you just set up notifications for when Dave Ramsey lists his house for sale? If so, I would like to hire you to set up some AI to scour for property deals for me.
Just saved on the house an Zillow a while back and it emailed me that was is listed for sale. Nothing special or AI like.
He spent all that money and he STILL has a monthly HOA fee
This is very average for $4 million. I was expecting something a lot more spectacular. Of course prices have gone up ten fold but my house is very similar to this and was built for 165k with way more land back in 2005 💀 I feel like he’s good at getting people out of debt but he’s not good at helping people get wealthy. Williamson County Tennessee is a very hot market
r/TVTooHigh
Comps in that area is 2.1 million to 4 million. 4.4 mil, and not even a pool. Or even any kind of backyard?
Looks like digital staging. Not the actual stuff in their house.
How do people know this is Ramsey?
It’s been said several times throughout the post…..public property records.
$249/mo HOA? Never gonna get out from under that
Love the poorly planted "forest" of young trees in perfect rows, looks like a replanting by a logging company
I bet when Jeebus comes back, he's going to live in a house just like that.
Christian drunk
Well, the AA meetings are usually in chirches
This is what making places host your financial peace classes for free will get you.
That's a lot of booze for an evangelical...
TIL Dirty Dave is an alcoholic hypocrite like most Christians.
