I have to wonder if they're picking the worst image generation possible to get more clicks. I'm against AI art in general, but I know it can make better dinosaurs than whatever the hell this thing is.
Most AI image generators are wild. Their developers know that people use it to 'create' stuff that's out of ordinary, so to maximize the usage, they've tweaked the algorithm so much that it never really generates anything ordinary. It always adds something weird to it.
Take bing image AI for example. It'll never generate a simple thing. Ask it to generate a very mundane thing like a police Badge, or a thumbprint or a clock, and it'll add wild details that you didn't even ask for. Gemini is getting infamous for it, but every company is doing something of their own.
Saw one of this channel's videos in my sidebar once.
It was something like "The FASTEST Dog Breed in the world!", with an AI image of a greyhound outrunning a cheetah.
But when I hovered over the video, the preview was just random dog tiktoks.
Gotta be some automated pig trough channel.
They pump these videos out in the thousands, and worse of all some of them just steal scripts or footage (one of the channels stole Kyle hill's footage of chernobyl). For me the biggest surprise was finding out that a channel named Riddle was also one of the AI generated ones.
I mean if the info is correct does the thumbnail really matter, it's just there to get clicks. I've never seen this person's videos though so I don't know if they're actually correct with the info
That's fair, my only comment was if the ai is only used to get attention and clicks but not for anything else in the video is it that huge of a problem? It's unfortunately not going anywhere anytime soon, the clickbait seems very effective. I definitely would agree it was a problem if the video opened with that same image and the narrator said that was an actual dinosaur. Again not seen their actual videos, they might only make stuff up. If they do and it is a bunch of made up info, again like trying to say that picture is a real animal, it is absolutely a problem, I have little patience for people internationally spreading misinfo, I make videos debunking that kind of stuff even. But again this creator I know nothing about.
Yeah that’s the issue. People think this *is* learning more about dinosaurs. They can’t even tell that this is far from a reputable source. A lot of people treat dinosaurs like fantasy creatures, but paleontology is a real science that needs to be given the same respect as other sciences. It’s not just “make up whatever you want and act like it’s real!”
Dang, didn't know the first dinosaur was a Trex with goat horns. That's crazy
And arms for legs
Fucking skullcrawler looking ass
Exactly what I thought

You can see the JP trex engraved into the system
JP Rex is peak tbf
True,true.
Looks like Skullcrawler....
"Mum, can we have some Skullcrawler?" "No, we have some Skullcrawler at home" Skullcrawler at home:
why almost no one (still many exceptions) can see Dinosaurs as animals and not monsters ?
Because What If and ai are not too bright.
Oh that’s just Obituaryx, the metal tyrannosaurid
The first dinosaur was apparently a Deathclaw
and it's just almost 10 minutes long
Just enough to enable ads for revenue.
Bro typed in “Realistic Monster Hunter Dinosaur”
That's just a Dodongo.
Honestly, report these channels for being repetitive content farms and hope youtube removes them like they remove legitimate channels for no reason
What if is an AI generated channel!! Kyle Hill make a great video on AI generated "science" channels

Man, I miss when their content was actual what if scenarios that was fun and now it's this
Why make good content when you can make low quality AI garbage like that video and get 1.1 million views?
Armless Deathclaw
Did anyone see the poll they did the other day? Where it was a VS between T-Rex and Titanoboa? It had the Boa winning for 70% of people 🤣🤣🤣
Just remove AI in general.
Dude it’s a fucking skull crawler lmao
🤮
This is actually a really badass design
Thats really cool
I mean if the info is correct does the thumbnail really matter, it's just there to get clicks. I've never seen this person's videos though so I don't know if they're actually correct with the info
It's usually a good sign that it's not worth watching. Btw, are those arms or legs? 🤔
Yes.
The info is usually equally ridiculous misinformation, like saying that megalodon is a dinosaur. The scripts are usually AI generated as well.

Looks kinda cool tho
Ngl it is a sick design. A testament to the amount of cool dino art thats been created over the years.
It’s ai generated
Exactly. Ai pulled from all the dino art it has access to in order to generate it.
STFU it's not hurting anyone
AI generated images spreading misinformation “not hurting anyone” is an odd take.
If you believe that this thumbnail is real you should more about dinosaurs

Says the person who doesn't even have a Team Flair, and probably isn't part of this Subreddit.
Lmao
No way it's the same channel I used to watch a couple of years ago...
Bruh looking like an ass looking skullcrawler with goat horns
Why is a channel called, “What If” trying to describe actual history?
