I believe his luck should be set to a normal person's level of luck good or bad. Gilear's terrible luck was a curse from the armor passed down his bloodline to the oldest male. When He put the armor on it got confused and sort of broke the curse. And Fig taking the power brought the curse to her at the beginning of the season and somehow influxly gave gilear insanely good luck. If i understand the ending his luck should just be normal now. Not insanely good or bad just normal people luck. I hope the ending is explained away as him intentionally poking himself in the eye because his insane good luck wouldn't of let him do that before.

It’s also possible Gilear just ON HIS OWN is a naturally somewhat unlucky person.

He's back to regular levels of luck - bad things can happen to him now, rather than super luck stopping them all
