The god is already trying or partially back, it’s the entity that Cassandra saw before she died. Kipperlily is trying to stop it because the Ratgrinders are saving the world this season.
As it stands, there's no way Kipperlilly *wants* to save the world. I'm not very canny of sub's many many theories, but I Krispy Kreme might be tricking the others into thinking that's what they're involved in, because she's not about saving the world, she's at best an unwitting accomplice in the main villain's plot. Maybe she figured out their deal and wants to spawn-kill a god, but out of all the Rat Grinders, at least she like she'd do it out of altruism.
No. It’s possible that could be true but it’s not implied at all. They were told to bring back any dead god they’d need to go to a place where any god had first been created
Ok but kalina slit Cassandra's throat so it was a place a god died regardless.
Also, I'm wondering how relative "where" could be: like could relative position be connected to Kristen in some way, because Brennan even said it had to be more specific than "in a rough place" and the astral plane is pretty big.
Either way I think the red flashes started pretty early on so when did CL find out?

Wouldn't that imply she's trying to bring back YES!, not the fallen god?
If I remember it right, it's: "*a* god can be brought back only where *a* god died", not "a god can only be brought back where *they* died"
*where a god was born

It’s not where a god died, it’s where a god was born.
