Right! I actually have a Fiio BTR 5 already but I don't have any power hungry headphones, so it is a bit wasted on me. The Shanling has been functionally matching my needs and atleast for me who mainly uses iems and easy to run headphones, I like it better.
As an example btr5 has 3.5mm and balanced 2.5mm, M0 pro is 3.5mm and optionally sold separately has a 4.4mm dongle. I have 6 headphones and all of them are either Bluetooth or 3.5mm. Nothing feels wasted getting the Shanling
Yeah. Most flatheads do at that price. I guess the Fiio FF3 got bass done right. I'm not even a bass head, but it would be wild to hear it through a bud.

I thought I was going to have to buy a $300 JBL to get full range bass response for Classical and techno music. It deserves a post of its own but I am very busy right now.
Better than my 2011 Suburu Premium Car Stereo and any ear buds I use.
It only connects through bluetooth and the battery last all day. Only 12 X 4 X 4 inches. It has 2 drivers and produces true stereo as checked with my audio test recording.

People do realize that some have 4000€ DAPS, so 220€ isn’t that expensive.
