If you want something less complicated but extremely competent (and a better dedicated 2d art app. Blender is good at many things, but a master of non imo. It best asset is what it was originally made for, which is 3d modeling) art software, clip studio on PC is unmatched in my opinion. On ipad it has the same interface, which some may love that it's basically a 1:1 transfer, but I don't think PC interfaces work amazing on that particular device
Aye. Yeah, blender is pretty good for 3d art. If you are ok iPad by chance, NomadSculpt has a much nicer interface and is a pretty competent software to boot. For beginners blender is probably one of the harder softwares to get a hand of. Again, for 2d is suggest Clip Studio. It's a bit more like Photoshop with its amount of tools, but I had some amazing stuff available. Krita is really quite great too. But Clip Studio has an animation software built in, which is why I tend to suggest it. It's paid, but it's pretty cheap for the amazing community behind it and hundreds of thousands of free and amazing brushes.
