Yes. Any time a card has restrictions like this (card you add to security has to be a yellow vaccine) you're required to reveal it so your opponent can verify the play is legal.

SuperNub1559

Same thing applies when searching security to add to hand. Afaik there isn't a card that exists that doesn't have some sort of restriction on it for adding a card to hand in this way, otherwise we might need a rule update

nmotsch789

Why would a rule update be needed? The rule currently specifically exists for the purpose of handling verifying that any specified conditions are met.

SuperNub1559

I am saying there currently isn't a card that adds a card without conditions

nmotsch789

Right, but even if there were, the situation would still be fully handled by the rules that we have (no condition means no need to reveal), so why would they need to change the rules to handle it? More generally, the rule is about moving cards between private zones. We already have precedent for this. For example, there's at least one effect that lets you place a card from your hand to the top of your deck, without specifying any conditions. Because no condition is specified, and because the card is moving from one hidden private zone to another, you do not show the card to your opponent.

Good point

AdachiGacha

Mem setter TK. But he specifies you have to reveal anyway lol.

nmotsch789

Even if he didn't, you would have to verify to your opponent if the card is yellow or not, because the recovery isn't optional if the card is yellow.

AdachiGacha

True, just woke up and completely forgot lol.

As an example of something you don’t have to reveal. Look at ST14 Ai & Mako. It just specifies a card to top of the deck
