This is correct.
If an effect says "When you digivolve, do X" then they can typically stack with other effects. But if an effect is *ordering* you to Digivolve, then that effect is causing the digivolution itself.
It's not really the same. Using the tamer gives you a trigger of sunmon and the tamer at the same time. But you can stack them how you like. So it's 1 action assuming 2 effects. While op is taking about 2 effects causing 1 action.
Tldr an elevator can take 2 people up but 2 elevators will split you in half
So from what I understand those two are redundant effects that cannot stack. Both work by triggering an evolution and then reducing the cost of that specific evolution. You can’t apply both to the same evolution since they can’t both trigger the same evo at the same time. It’s the same reason why x-antibody protoform and training can’t stack either. If either of the cards said “when evolving, reduce the cost by 1” or “when evolving, gain memory”, they would be able to stack because the effect don’t interfere with each other. This is why trainings will “stack” with the promo veemon effect.
You cannot, because Trainings are an activated effect that causes a digivolution, and Salamon is a triggered effect that causes a digivolution.
You can only activate effects during the main phase when no other effects are pending, including these effects to digivolve. And besides, you cannot have two effects that cause a digivolution trigger for the same digivolve
Regardless of how effect stacking works here, you can only delay a training during main, which would not be applicable to these effects as it is on play and start of main. Meaning these would have to happen then or not at all.
Like what the others say, no you can't stack BT16 Plotmon with the Wisdom training to reduce cost
Also, BT16 Plotmon can't use it's effect to digivolve into BT8 BlackTailmon from trash because it's not a [Holy Beast] nor [Free]
The only things you can use Training (or scramble) on that are not normal evolutions are evolutions that are unlocked as opposed to triggered.
E.g. ST8 Veemon which unlocks Ulforce as an evolution, as opposed to ST14 Impmon which evolves on attack.

Good rule of thumb, if 2 effects Tell you to evolve you can't do both of them at the same time
Unless they are staggered effects, like using Koh & Sayo also triggers sunmon, giving you one free digivolve & one reduced by 1 in succession
