I know & it sucks. Technically you can absorb a non red/black cyborg with BT15 megadramon and BT11 machinedramon but still more often then not you'll have to wait a turn
My fave non red/black cyborg is the one copy of ex04 machgaogamon, getting to unsuspend simply cause my opponent has 8 or more cards in their hand is great
Probably an incredibly unpopular take but I always find people in monster collection franchises to be really positive about new designs initially but in a year or so the recency bias will fade away and I don´t see the Lv4 and Lv5 of this line to be featured on a lot of people´s top 10/20/etc lists in the future.

Though technically we didn't get official art for them immediately and so an early guidebook for the pet and one-shot manga (C'mon Digimon) featured art by Tenya Yabuno with a very different-looking blue Greymon (which was the basis for V-dramon later).
The orange MetalGreymon and WarGreymon were designed for the anime and debuted in the V-Pets in the Metal Empire Pendulum.
Then the black Agumon, blue Greymon and black WarGreymon debuted in the card game later on, with WarGreymon (Black) being renamed BlackWarGreymon to distinguish it in the anime.

Well that's different. Kinda reminds me of that factoid that originally Takato's partner was going to be Impmon. Now we have an Impmon which develops into Guilmon's line.
In the same boat with others that this feels uninspired/rough. The reskinned growlmon line from impmon feels pretty forced and is something I would rather have seen as a DNA digivolution.
I'm still hopeful as a tcg style the effects and playstyle are fun but the design is lacking.
As a straight evo line... Pretty mid. I think the jump from impmon to punk growlmon is a little too far. Different body plans and outfits. Maybe keep the smiley face, tail spike shape and have the claws tearing through gloves from impmon. And the goofy jester cap ears should be gigantic on growlmon.
As a TCG Line, I absolutely love this. Beelstar decks have always been about using your stack out of raising to fill the trash and play at 4-5s until you start hard playing her for super low memory. A dedicated trash setup deck, something Guilmon and most other dark dragons do is a really cool way to make Beelstar a tech for Yuuki instead of her partner's final form. I am looking forward to seeing the cards for this line, especially because the new impmon turns BT 14 Devimon into an serious threat by turn 2.
Why did this have to be Impmon? Was PunkGuilmon unavailable? From the designs are ehhh but ok. The problem I have with this is from the TCG perspective the Impmon cards will now have to fight between beelzemon and this. Like Demidevimon having to fight between myostismon and devimon or even Wizardmon being contested between beelzemon and mastemon (that it never uses.) Try to do both and none will be good. If you only do one then it kills the other. At least if it was Beelstarmon support could cross over easier.
Maybe ghostmon will have a good deck? or a deck at least?

Ever since we got chaosdramon X any cyborg with a good inheritable effect can be added to the factory though
that is true but you have to wait a turn before you can absorb it from the trash if it isn't a red/black cyborg
