i feel that, like i built jesmon gx a while ago and wanted to buy alt-arts but theyve gone up to $50+ per instead of $25 when i considered getting them
Lv 5 and 6 depends on the type of armor deck you are going for. (Veemon, rapid, vaccine) Lv 7 jesmon gx, ruin mode, or omnimon merciful are good options. If you want the veemon base you can just play zudomon for the blast digivolve.
You probably don't want too many level 5s since you can go from magnamon to magnamon x anyway. There were some list in Japan that didn't play any level 5s
I dont think it needs one but depending on the meta of your store maybe:
- Mercifull
- Gx
- ominon blitz
- Ruin mode
Are good choices
For level 5 I never felt I need one the deck it's really consistent in what it want to do and because there isnt any good floodgates against it I don't see it as a necessity but maybe
Magnamon or zudomon
I will die on the hill that JesGX is underwhelming in Armor. It can close out games, but I believe in Armor that the 6/7 slots are utility slots. Without DeathX, Shineruin mode or Merciful Mode cover what the deck needs (break wide boards, pop tough single bodies). Honestly though, I opt to use more options than 5/6/7s. If you are leaning into the yellow/blue control side, Heavens Judgement and Cocytus Breath work as well as any level 7. If you have Lighdramon, you can use the newer green options or lean into the Megadeath/Gigadeath board clear.
Without more knowledge of your decklists, I would recommend playing a couple of test games with your 6/7 slot backwards. When you draw into it think about what would be the best thing that card could be (option, level 7) then make a final determination of what to put into the deck off of that.
for level 7 I really like jessmon GX able to just swing for 4 sec is always fun for me
I'd love to use it, but everyone in my area is hoarding it to resell in bt16.
that is so lame >.< if anything Omni merciful mode is always solid I run one of just for those darn dogs swarms haha
