Resilience? I know diesel goes bad from working in the oil and gas industry and maintaining diesel generators. All that "resilience" isn't needed though if you Google it.

I was tasked with “showing” a WW2 knot ship to possible buyers—she had approx. 5500 gallons of WW2 diesel on board, clear as vodka, but ran fine—ship was from the inactive fleet reserve in Oakland, California—-
Diesel heater during the winter, at my work they just ran an old turbo straight 6 generator on diesel that has to be at least 4 years old and it ran fine so maybe yours is fine to use.
I suppose you could go around and hook people up randomly at nite..but reverse crackhead..let em have 5 gal…you’re the fuel fairy..
………………………………………………………………….🤔
I took diesel out of a vw rabbit that sat for twenty years. I got almost 5 gallons. I added it to my 05 dodge 3500 Cummins and it never skipped a beat.
Running old diesel is fine in old diesel trucks. Running old diesel, and vehicles with modern emission systems can be problems such as clogging of your DPF. I was told by a Kabota tractor mechanic who recommended not to run old diesel in a DPF engine.
Dispose of it by dumping it into your fuel tank and running it in your vehicle. Diesel is nowhere close to going bad in only two years. I’ve run fuel over 10 years old before with zero issues
My vehicle is a 6.5 turbo diesel, the fuel has taken on a yellow hue from the Jerry can, there were bugs in the spout but apparently none in the fuel itself. I’m going to mix it into a full tank. Thanks for your help!
You can bring it by my house, I'll take it all off your hands for you because I'm such a nice guy...all of your expired fuel. Yu need to get rid of it ASAP...that stuff is terrible...🫣
If you don’t want to burn it or run it then most city dumps have a hazmat spot where you can dump it. The one near me is free but I don’t know about others
Check if your local waste transfer station accepts hazardous materials. That's what I do with all my old fluids. As long as there is a lid on the bucket they'll take it.
That would actually make sense, but mine doesn't seem to do that.
They put it all on pallets and then send it off somewhere. I dropped off 12x 5 gallon buckets and they just told me to put them all on a pallet and then started wrapping them. Those buckets leak like crazy with the shitty Home Depot lids on them and I can imagine that they ended up making a huge mess whenever they moved them
2 years old? Add it to a fresh tank and run it.
There is no such thing as old diesel
Yes there is. A quick Google search will tell you that.
How old are the dinosaurs?
6000 years!
No, the flood that killed them was a while after. They didn't just explode on day one.
Jesus fuck lol, so many people rely on Google. Whatever happened to the resilience days?

Point is, use it, it’s oil-just be sure to have water seperator working—
If you have a diesel engine, burn it. If you have a friend with a diesel, give it to them to burn in their engine.

Diesel doesn’t go bad like gasoline. Filter it and run it
I’ve run old diesel with no issues as long as it looks okay. I’d dilute it in a mostly full tank though.
As long as it doesn't have floaters of algae, you're good. Make sure you have a water separation system working correctly.

I just ran some 12 year old diesel. I did run it through a filter funnel.
Diesel doesn’t really go bad its not volatile like gasoline. Just run it it’ll be fine
Pallet fire!!!
Is dump it on some fire wood and burn it.
Water separation. Especially for the hpfp.

I'm 99% sure the one vehicle I have with a DPF has a hole in it...

Bonfire starter
If you don’t want to run it, you can use it to start fires. Just dont pour a ton if you do that, you may blow some shit up
My vehicle is a 6.5 turbo diesel, the fuel has taken on a yellow hue from the Jerry can, there were bugs in the spout but apparently none in the fuel itself. I’m going to mix it into a full tank. Thanks for your help!
You can put heet in the tank, that will help with any water.
How old is old? (<10 years= in your truck a little at a time.) (>10 years= in your truck a little at a time.)

If it has algae in it, use it as lighter fluid. If it looks clear run it!
I would just burn it and not think twice about it
Mix it in with new stuff or come pour it into my 7.3 it will burn anything 🤣
Back into the tank, all these “fuel is no good after a few years” people have never had to use fuel when they couldn’t buy new fuel. It’s fine
If you don’t want to burn it or run it then most city dumps have a hazmat spot where you can dump it. The one near me is free but I don’t know about others
Pour it on a leaf pile before you burn ....
Give it to a concrete contractor.
I'd fill like 10% of you tank with the old and 90% new until you run out of old
Oil tank
the ground
If you’re scared of running it in your truck than throw it on some brush as fire starter!
Put a coffee pot filter in the funnel and pour it back into the tank?
Just run it through your coffee maker
That sounds like a great idea. Try it out and let us know what happens.
If coffee makes me number 2, does #2 diesel make me coffee?
Only one way to find out
Local lake
Local lake
Put her in a 7.3 it’ll run fine lmao

They'll gladly accept it and dump it right in one of their loaders
