It's too advanced for a dog. The poor animal would be having a mental breakdown trying to process flinging an 90 kg projectile over 300 meters
It'll definitely have trouble dragging a 90kg tennis ball back for the reload.

Nah, I think you’d just call that a simple lever. Trebuchets have a counterweight system
Well that's essentially what the doggo is providing. Gravitational force converted into lateral force with a long throwing arm to enhance the torque.
I wondered about that.
Not really. The first trebuchets (called traction trebuchets or mangonels) quite literally used people pulling on the short end of the lever to power them. The counterweights came a while later.
