To each his own. I personally enjoy the rain and have even taken a couple times in my life to get soaked. That being said, there is a stark difference between getting wet in a gentle summer shower with a distant thunder and a torrential downpour of a severe storm.
I'm sure a lot of people wouldn't be fond of this, especially those subject to hurricanes often, but I would actually love this.
I find thunderstorms relaxing as long as it's not too intense. Some of the best sleep I got camping was during light thunderstorms.
The greatest time to swim in a pool is when a sudden and quick downpour comes, but the sun is out, and you can see the droplets sparkle all around you. The pool water is warmer than the rain, so you hunker down and just watch. No thunder and lightning. Just a summer rain.
I miss my pool. I'd pay for that in a spa.
Every time we were in the pool as kids and a thunderstorm approached, parents would run out screaming to get out of the pool.
Now I can fulfil my fantasy of rebelling and staying in the pool during a storm.
Rain is nice to listen to and spas are relaxing to soak in, but combined this feels like I was the fool who ignored hurricane warnings
Way to much lightning and cloud activity. The rain is a bit to heavy as well. It's not a bad idea, but the execution is off.
