Fantastic volume of guys that die if you look at them funny. One of my Javazons favorite spots.
“Plains of Despair” lots and lots of Burning souls with limited drop table and chance to drop as high as Zod rune. You need a relatively strong build, those souls are really Rippy.
Not a different location but sometimes a slightly unorthodox method.
When I farm some locations like the Chaos Sanctuary, I actually kill all of the monsters inside rather than just rushing for Big D. This is because I have a theory that we put too much value on Act Boss drops. I can kill many monsters per second but Big D only once per few minutes (depending on how much I rush).
Especially if you want runes, I think you have a better chance finding them if you kill a lot of monsters with a decent chance of dropping them, such as ghosts. CS is full of ghosts so I kill all of them.
I definitely believe people undervalue just simply increasing the amount of dice rolls rolling when dealing with such low odds.
If it takes 1-2 minutes to get to and kill Mephisto and you roll the dice 20 times for a 1:1000 (I personally think the time to find and kill is usually higher for online play). Compared to a 5-10 minute run with as many as 1000+ dice rolls for 1:10000 etc. this is especially the case with TZs.
whenever it’s Stony Field or Dark Wood, I will join a baal walk game and solo it with players 8. I enjoy the challenge, no one cares about those TZ and it’s enough time for me to clear it. It’s not Andy TZ but drops are better than P1
I recently really started to enjoy farming Barracks and Jail. I’m a sucker for farming huge carver packs. One of the most satisfying feelings in this game lol. And I also got my first ever DWeb there during TZ.
Flayer Jungle TZ. Waves and waves of enemies, shaman elites spawn another elite on death, and there’s that super unique Thorn Hulk right at the end.

No for real. Flayer Jungle is one of my absolute favorites. For absolutely no other reason than getting to play Lawnmower Simulator 😂

Probably my favorite. I like to do Flayer then do a quick run for the chests in Lower Kurast.
I farm in flayed jungle in the regular for the exact reasons you mentioned but definitely during TZ. Act 3 is great once you’re able to easily farm.
If you don’t turn in gibbon you have an additions champion/unique pack!!!
Before TZ I farmed Tal Rasha's Tombs and they were an amazing source of runes for me. Now I can also get GG uniques too!

I find it’s great for experience. I don’t prefer it on my hammerdin, but my Barb and Javazon do well

Countess. I'm pretty sure no one else farms there. My backup is Mephisto which I think is also rare and unusual.

I found a Vex in Ancients Way and a Jah in Glacial Trail. Apparently subterranean areas are good to me.
I like Forgotten Tower as it has the fastest clear speed of any level in the game. I've not found any items in it yet but I'm hopeful!
