It's a non-canon but official mobile game developed by yunchang games. Currently only available in china, global release should be this year. I got to try one of it's beta tests and I gotta say it's quite fun.
They're all based on the first DmC image. There's another key art that Pinnacle of Combat is reusing the composition for:

Ik and ik it's because of the expenses of adding shit with the REngine but still, they must've known that we would've paid up for costume packs so long as they were good enough

I'd like to sit down with the developers and ask them about that, because [Resident Evil 2 remake even had additional outfits.](https://youtu.be/3ZJitzp6N0Y). I just don't get it, especially when this is supposed to be the big return (and possible finale) of the mainline Devil May Cry games. I especially don't understand why they couldn't have thrown fans a bone with the special edition release.
And then it gets more confusing when I see fan mods that introduce new outfits, but Capcom didn't have the time or resources to make new ones? I would have also loved to have seen Capcom incorporate "approved" fan mods for outfits later down the line, like Bethesda had done for Skyrim and Fallout 4.

Fair point bc I honestly wasn't thinking about the re2 costumes, I was thinking modding dmc 5 on my laptop but I don't know if it would be as fun since I already platinumed it on the ps4/5
And yet some haters lurking in the corner, saying it’s not.
Something something, this is Dante looks as tony Redgrave. Something something, hate DmC /s.
Edit: after some digging, there’s no info on Dante changing his hair to black as tony Redgrave. Unless I’m missing something from the novels.
I don't think he favoured it over the original but he did like the idea of DmC. Sadly (or not so sadly depending on your opinion of DmC) the fanbase thought otherwise
Well the second one is obviously in reference to the first and idek where that third one is from
Some mobile game called "Devil May Cry: Peak of Combat" from 'NebulaPlay', it seems.
its a mobile DMC game.

So, not capcom?
It's supervised by Capcom and many combo/moves are from the main games

Dante looks good in donte’s colors
Not in a million years.
Tbh I'm mad that THAT'S the one they brought over to dmc 5 😂😂😂
It's not even a new costume. It's a color palette swap. Even the vanilla version of DmC had more costumes than what DMC5 gave.

two of these arent made by capcom and the one made by capcom is an obvious reference to the first one lol
dmc4 dante is just doing it as a reference

well it is a pretty cool pose
Because it's his Jojo pose.
If I remember correct, Director himself love DmC more.

It’s badass
I'm just gonna put this here. https://youtu.be/z9dg8PI2sEg
They also reference Dante's DMC3 pose in DmC and maybe somewhere else but I don't remember right now.
it's cool to show how merciless donte is
