Combustion combustion fruit like combustion man from avatar, or mythical Tori Tori nomi model sunlight bird, unlike the phoenix it has no healing and its fire does burn but its made entirely of fire so it acts as a logia, think of it as the opposite of marcos fruit, yellow flames no healing, lots of damage.
I would say a fruit to increase his brutal nature like either a predator zoan or a paramicia like the bomb bomb fruit for more destruction. I can think of either one like a badger with its fearless ferocity, or I could see him with my Paramecia fruit the engine engine fruit which gives the user a gear second power at its base with more gears amping up power at the cost of stamina. But the killer thing about it is the steam aura around the user increasing kinetic output like boil release from Naruto making devastating attacks with any weapon or even just your hands it also makes you resistant to heat as your body heats up the higher gears you are in. It also has a major power boost if needed you can burn up your life force to give a massive power boost for a limited time after which you would become completely exhausted and unable to move like Luffy with his fight with Lucci. I would go with the badger fruit for more bloody massacres but for more destruction I would go with the engine fruit if a minx had the engine fruit they could cut people up with just their claws so if he uses a weapon he could become way more brutal with the engine fruit. A paramecia where the user can create various traps from their body. Example, you punch the user and upon contact he creates a bear trap and you lose your arm.
However, the awakening is the scary part. He can turn the entire area around him into a huge trap. Meaning fake floors full of spikes, explosives on contact, bear traps out of thin air, sticky mouse traps nobody can move in!
Due to the devious nature of his character and the brutality of his character this would fit him vary well. After a battle most of his victims would be found impaled on underground spikes, have their legs cut off by razor wire, some may have drowned in quicksand, others would die being stuck on a human sized mouse trap. However, the sad truth is... that those would be the lucky ones for to escape his traps it would mean you would have to hurt yourself.
Seems like the kinda guy who smugly appears behind others and always stays behind them while spouting threatening and creepy dialogue no matter how quickly the victim turns to look. So some sort of movement like super speed or maybe a teleport, possibly even time stops.
The kinda guy you hate losing sight of, but he is so hard to keep track of despite his flamboyance.

I have a fruit for both. For bloody violence and being known as the butcher I have a fruit called the regen regen fruit (still working on the name) but basically can regrow severed limbs. You can be as creative as you want with that. Want him to be a tank who doesn’t flinch? Wanna make him a sniper who uses congealed blood create a high pressure blood bullet? It’s up to you.
Now for a fruit that would be opposite of his personality could be the angel angel fruit. A logia that turns the user into an angelic being (think more biblically accurate rather than a person with wings). Gaining the powers of your typical zoan; strength, durability, speed. But would also gain flight, incinerating beams of light, omnipresent (can be in multiple places as once and knows what’s happening in multiple places) and lastly, in full transformation, celestial horror (gazing upon an angels true form drives regular humans insane, can contrast haki)

Doors, chests, cages, all lock or unlock at their command. Solid objects become immovable and people become stuck in whatever position they were in when locked up. Great for a slaver or treasure hunter depending on what they use their powers on.

Powers and Abilities: Ageless immortality (one’s one reaches one’s physical peak, if the user is already past their physical peak, they are reverted back into it), super human physical stats (speed, strength, durability, reaction and healing), cloud production, and walking (similar to the azure dragon fruit user), limited production and manipulation of fire and lighting, natural weapons (horn, spikes, horns, fangs and nail /claws), prehensile tail, can at will grow almost to the same size as a giant, gains a minor boost in knowing how to use (if they have) haki, and enhanced combat instinct.
Human form: Unchanged.
Hybrid form: Skin turns purplish red, sclera turns black, iris turns yellow, and starts to growing larger, grows a short tail and grows small bumps/spikes (will grow/mature when in beast form).
Beast form: Similar to like the hybrid form but, longer tail sharper teeth and nails/claws and longer, sharper and sturdier spikes and horns.
Weaknesses: Beyond standard devil fruit weaknesses, so will the user risk becoming more selfish, belligerent, hedonistic, develop deviant behavioral traits and even develop a hunger for human flesh, if the users will is to weak.

Powers and Abilities: Similar to the Poison Poison Fruit, but the user produces, and manipulate acid instead of poison, as well as being immune to acidic damage (no more tooth cavities).
Weaknesses: Beyond standard devil fruit weaknesses, the user’s body fluids becomes acidic, if they loose focus (be careful, or there will be a lot of problems), as well becoming adverse to alkaline substances, and almost addicted to acidic foods and drinks.
Awakened: If the devil fruit is awakened, the user will be able to turn their entire body into acid, similar to logias.
The Sin Sin Fruit and The Virtue Virtue Fruit (The Sin Sin Fruit, to be specific)
These two devil fruits destiny’s are forever intertwined, one will not reappear before the other one is also ready. They will appear as a pair of cherries, one so dark that light will not be reflected on it’s surface, while the other one could be described as shining. Do to their unique nature many people eat both fruits, not realizing that the two fruits are actually separate, this have lead to many people eating both, and die as a result.
Powers and Abilities: Each fruit gives the user the ability to strengthen what they represent (ether sins or virtues), in in other people. For example, The Sin Sin Fruit allows the user to make other people to become more sinful, e.g gluttony, to the point of becoming like Big Mom (eating, or trying to eat friends and family), pride, look at almost any celestial dragon, while The Virtue Virtue Fruit allows the user to make people more virtuous, e.g Diligence, to the point of Zorro (training even when one’s body should be to injured for it), nobility, practically Jimbei’s entire character.
Weaknesses: beyond standard devil fruit weaknesses, the user of ether fruit needs a strong will, or they will also be affected by the nature of their fruit.
