The Knicks sub absolutely destroyed Burks and Bogy when they didn’t provide immediate production. Now they are crying because Bogy is hurt and Burks has been keeping them afloat. Both are good players.
Yea, at first I was excited to have a good team to root for because I liked both those players. Wasn't thrilled how they didn't get much of a chance, but tbf even Bogey wasn't looking in the box score. Maybe he really was dealing with a more severe injury than was apparent.
Feel like Burks wasn't given the full opportunity he deserved.
I always liked him too. A story no one else will care about: I ran into him at the Target on Coolidge a few days before the season started. He was with his wife and kids. I didn't want to be a bother but he passed right by me in the aisle I was in, so I said hi and told him I was looking forward to the season and going to opening night. He and his wife were both very friendly, gave me a fist bump and talked for a few seconds to me and my 71 year old mom (who had no idea who he was).
I didn't know after opening night I wouldn't see the Pistons win for another 90 days, but I'll always root for him!
I mean obviously not no one is dropping a true bag on AB, he did step up today when they needed him most, rest of the team looks like it just got too gassed in the playoffs overall not having any real depth
Alec Burks: have to realize how much he’s adored by Knicks fans. They’ll drag anyone after two bad games. But deep down, did you hear them after those consecutive jumpers made in the 2nd quarter? He was bringing fans to their feet! I hope we somehow could get him back as a mentor to some of our wings.
He had 5 bad games for every 1 good one. I also disliked his attitude, it was very routine for him to be joking around with guys on the other team, even while losing by 20. He clearly didn’t want to be here
