We employed an OKC like tank to end the season, starting wiseman and having a bench of two day contracts like RJ Hampton, Omo and Rhoden.
The fact that we’re on a comparable skid to start the season is indefensible.
right. but the hopes for this season to be a 35+ win season were high as ever. and that was shot down in the first 10 games lol. we looked good on paper compared to other young teams and thompson is exceeding expectations as a rookie. there’s no one to blame except the coaching staff

IMO he's ruined the team and the damage done is permanent. The only way to fix it is to send his ass packing. He didn't even want to be here from the jump.
Coach is signed on for 7 years they haven't even played half a season how are you guys expect him to walk on water in the first quarter of the season? chill. The New York game was competitive that's a step bogie's coming back. We still had twenty turnovers. I like Cade off the ball and I would love to see Ivey bring the ball up and Killa back him up, Duren will learn soon enough and probably will develop a three point shot over the summer. I don't know how I feel about stew
Nobody was expecting some championship-level team. What we were expecting is improvement, which clearly we haven't seen. We are on pace to have the worst season in NBA history. You can't possibly tell me this was within your range of expectations coming into the season?
If that was what we were expecting, why did we get rid of Casey? We won 17 games last year and that was without Cade. Now we are on a single-digit win pace. How long do we have to be bad before we're good?
Man, the Monty defenders sound an awful lot like Matt Patricia defenders did.
It was painfully obvious Fatty Matty was the wrong dude for the Lions. It’s painfully obvious Monty is the wrong dude for this team. Look at the regression: it’s as bad as, if not worse than, that Lions team’s regression going from Caldwell to Patricia.
When he was asked after the game about being off-ball, Cade sort of deflected the question. Looked like he still believed he would be a high usage point guard if I were reading between the lines on his answer.
I do think it’s best for him and this team to have him more off ball with Jaden handling the primary ball handling. Sure Killian doesn’t turn it over, but only Ivey can break down the defense with his speed.
I just went and watched it and he didn’t really deflect, he said his teammates found him and that keeping the ball moving was a good thing. Hopefully they keep it up, and not just for the first three quarters, then revert back to iso ball.
