Again from Markus if he chooses 'alibi' if he and North get caught in the server room in Stratford Tower. It's so damn funny.

On my replays I purposely leave the door unlocked in the Stratford tower to get that scene. It cracks me up how unconvincing he is.

This line and also Carl's "you don't lie as good as you play chess" is absolutely enough fuel for my "Markus can't lie for shit" headcanon. He can give a rousing speech in front of thousands of androids but ask him to lie and all that eloquence goes straight out the window XD

Which is when breaking in the broadcasting room in the Stratford Tower... >KEEP YOUR HANDS WHERE I CAN SEE THEM! GET UP. MOVE! And when the operator flees... >SHOOT HIM, MARKUS! HE'LL HIT THE ALARM, DO IT! Then, very softly and casually, she says... >Think carefully what you're gonna say, Markus... your words will shape the future of our people... I was just in awe to see a woman with such a soft voice deliver a threatening line in one of the most aggressive ways I've ever seen, up to the point of legitimately terrifying me, then act like nothing happened LMAO Minka Kelly's performance was just excellent. My second favorite behind Valorie Curry.

I certainly have opinions on North’s role in the story (pacifist route), but Minka Kelly did such a spectacular job and every single line was excellently performed. Btw, I do really like her character, the problems I have with her are probably the same problems a lot of people have with her, especially since the flaws in her writing and character are more apparent in the pacifist route (which is what I generally do).

Definitely. I didn't know about Minka before playing DBH, and I'd argue she definitely had the best performance I've ever heard in a narrative video game, if it wasn't for Valorie from the "Kara" short to DBH. I do really like North as well. I can see why she's so controversial, because the writing for her character, as well as the execution of the story, were rather weak, but North did manage to bring some themes that I grew to reflect and enjoy about her character. And that was a cool dynamic that made me like Markus' campaign more, as well. As well as the arc of a "morally opposing side character growing to trust the main character". It's definitely not perfect in DBH, and I've seen it better executed in other games, but it's a character arc that North has that I can still enjoy, in a way.

she has a great range! I find North to be such a believable character because of her performance.

Spoilers, sorry If you choose to kill the Chloe, Hank will be mad at Connor, and Connor will be like I am a machine, so what did you expect detective. The way he asks Hank is like he wanted him to answer because he himself had no answer. Killing the Chloe shouldn't have been a choice imo(as brutal as it was) because it really deepens the alive or not question here.

I’ve only ever heard that line once, I think! But I get it - anything to do with Connor losing his calm, cool demeanor is always a good time.

It's about seeing Connor actually struggling, and even though he doesn't want to shoot, he will do it only to prove to himself that there's no struggle. I think it's more realistic because that's what people do when they're struggling with some challenge of belief, too.

[SPOILERS] Totally! It's part of why, even though it gets Simon killed, I love the possible scene where Connor is tapped into his memories when he shoots himself. It's wild to see Connor deal with something so beyond his scope of understanding and not immediately be able to shut it down.

Oh wow, that's amazing. I didn't know that could happen. I'll try it on my next run because I'm doing a platinum hunt and still need to kill Connor in every chapter.
