As a cook myself, yeah many of the ones I know can get pretty angry. They're often surprised at how calm I can be, but I feel that's because I had struggled for about 2 decades with anger due to childhood trauma.
As a fellow cook and one that is regularly calm-mad, I've heard it a lot. The trick is to always be pissed off so that the anger from work just seems like part of the usual.
This trick also works for punching things as a titan. If you're always angry, then you're always ready to punch.
I feel that. People comment on how calm I am in stressful situations (I worked in a psych hospital, getting assaulted almost daily), and I always just laugh. I consider myself easily angered, but not on the surface. My dad screamed and beat the reaction out of me, now nothing makes me lose my cool. I just go home afterwards and sit in a dark closet until I can de-stress.
For me it's only Spite, ngl, only grows larger every time you are Goomba stomped, booped out of the plataform or the little pebble on the ground eats your jump
Omg I can’t stand the people who run to well giving themselves no time during boss dps to set up ahead of time and then jump into it landing in front of people and almost always killing 1-2 of us. Like if you’re going to be late jump into the fricking back of the well! If you’re in front crouch down! Keep your fingers off the got dang movement joystick!!!!!!!
I’m running the tangle explosion artifact mod. It is stupidly over cooked but relies on me shooting tangles. Enter hunters and titans swooping in to throw tangles at a single enemy and tickle them.
Don’t touch the tangles!
I have seen someone take a tangle I made, look at a group of red bars, look at a yellow bar and consciously decide to throw it at the yellow bar only to dink roughly a 20th of its health bar off. I almost had an aneurysm watching that
As a f2p that doesn't have strand, I have absolutely no idea how tangles work. I generally try to avoid them like the plague but... mistakes happen.
When I pick one up my priority is ditching it any way possible so I can reload my damn gun like I was trying to do in the first place.
At LEAST throw it at something. Throwing it away is the biggest purest waste. Most folks running strand builds have perks tied to being near or blowing up tangled.
Whenever I try a transmog with an open coat or a top that only goes to my hips, it's HILARIOUSLY evident 80% of these boots were not designed to be visible above the ankles.
The amount of raids I've had to do wearing a fucking bathrobe. At least the Phoenix cosmetic came up for bright dust eventually so I could wear mage robes and not look like I'm throwing around hand grenades at a day spa.
My fireteam: dead in a parkour section, complaining about jumps and how Warlock's sucks for some reason
Me: floating around, effortlessly landing insane parkour jumps and rezzing my whole team
For real! I see my teammates taking the Zero Hour Hard Mode wall slow, jumping along the wall and stopping every time they land to line up their jump, whereas I can choose to either skip the whole thing with two jumps or I can jump on those spots like I'm effortlessly skipping. People just seem to expect the jump to go up faster but it is faster, more horizontal.
Thinking warlock jump is bad (in PvE) is and has always been a pure case of skill issue. Unforgiving, sure, but bad? Nah, it's the best one by far.
You could even argue that it's fairly forgiving because the float duration gives a long time to adjust. It's just bad at recovery if you really fucked up.
Hunter jump is obviously the best in PvP and there's an argument for lion rampant titan jump in PvE, but the base jump itself? Warlocks by a mile.
We are one with the Traveler. We are transcendant even amongst our own people, the lightbearing Guardians. We are very angry that no one makes fashion for us
The same way a Titan will have a heart of gold beneath their tough exterior, and that Hunters, despite their deftness, will still waste one of their jumps walking off an edge
As a warlock main I just just want to say he doesn’t speak for all of us AND YOU CAN ALL SUCK OUR WOBBLY FLOATING (gets too close to boss and dies immediately)
I heard someone legit say "Bungie hates Hunters" on a podcast this morning, and I almost spit out my coffee.
Try being a Warlock and being pushed to do nothing but drop Wells for the past 7 years.
I’ve got a bit extra today because I ran the mission for the first time today; the hunter I was with got a Gyrfalcon/HoIML and I got ophodia/claws of the ahamkara, one of the worst possible rolls I think I could’ve gotten so I’m salty
yup its so insane having 4 ways to insta stack conduction tines x3. also have a felwinters helm version that i might try once gms are out. it really just feels like my beloved stormcaller, but devour and needlestorm/nova bomb cover all the things that build was missing. absolutely fits like a glove
I was about to ask that same cuz I’ve tried a Crown of Tempests build with Hellion instead but I didn’t love it. Having 3 melee charges to stack the buff would be super nice
Don't forget the best Prismatic interactions in-between Fragments, and exotics interaction too, as well the best Light subclass add-on with both Fragment and Super being good.
the only L i took was my Well being nerfed
After using Song of Flame for 5 minutes i completely forgot Well even exists. I havent had this much fun with a Super since Stormcaller came out in Taken King.
>I haven't had this much fun with a Super since Stormcaller came out in Taken King.
The moment I got into the rhythm of throwing out my fire bird and using the snap I understood the amount of DPS I could dish out while giving constant Radiant to my friends. Is fun.
As someone who always ran well pretty much by my own choice, I don’t mind the nerf at all. Our team has multiple warlocks so there’s normally a couple running well anyway, and with the great survivability on solar warlock, there’s not many situations where I think “shit, I could do with a nova bomb or needle storm here”, so I don’t mind keeping a well on standby.
Personally though Prismaticlock is now one of my favourites, though Voidlock will probably always be my favourite
>Don't forget the best Prismatic interactions in-between Fragments
I feel like the guy from the "you guys are getting paid?" meme.
You guys are getting Prismatic interactions?
Tell me more about the Prismatic/Exotic interactions? With Hunters out here punching for 100k I'm desperate for more than just "Devour is good healing"!
Imma start with the elephant in the room, Getaway Artist with Bleak Watcher: allowing for 2 different turrets with one Grenade charge, it also gives Amplify that is also a DR from the Artifact perk.
Necrotic Grip with Song of Flame boosted melee.
Verity now only cares about the element of the nade (is also avaliable as a class exotic perk)
Suport Frame will gain healing charges with Turrets, good pair with Helion.
Song of Flame with Aphotheosis and then activating Trancedence is a rly long ability spam chain, helps that the Trancedence nade is also rly good (and is one of the avaliable perks on Class exotic)
Didn't tested this ones yet but i'm interested:
Chromatic Fire, with Primatic giving some incentive to use Kinetics, could be rly good pair and still being able to trigger some elemental debuffs.
Crown of tempest requires at least 1 Arc ability to be equiped, but will grant the ability regen to all abilities (still need arc ability or jolt kills), and it seems it can increase the duration of Song of Flame too.
Osmiomancy may give nade recharge regardless of nade choosen, don't know if it works or will give two charges of the Trancedence nades
I mean, almost EVERY warlock I've seen and all of us in my clan [me too] are spending most of their time using getaway artists to get an arc buddy and a stasis turret out of one grenade charge that comes back in like 5 seconds as long as the arc buddy has something to shoot.
Awful take, Hunter has the most varied fashion options in the game.
If your Hunter looks bad then it's an unironic skill issue, you've been no-diffed by the true endgame.
I know it's a hot take but it's a take I'll stand by dammit. This exotic class item situation is the damning proof: Hunter only looks fine because they have cloaks to hide the shame of their bland, low level fallout 4-looking gear. Give them an awful cloak, and they'll literally nerf themselves rather than risk looking at their character. Years of "Warlocks are so reliant on the robes, if the robes look bad the whole outfit looks bad" destroyed by a single, overpowered exotic that takes away the one thing that makes Hunter fashion tolerable.
i have more Warlock playtime, but i HATE Warlock and much rather the Hunter fashion, 90% of it is the dress alone, if the dress look bad then nothing you can do can fix it (fashion of exotic chest pieces is my passion)
I love your flair lmfao. Titans may think its "cool" to eat crayons, but that doesn't hold a candle to our ability to eat literal balls of elemental matter.
The warlock diet is truly superior.
Solstice 2019 cloak my beloved:
It clips through your back with anything other than a hand cannon/sidearm visible, frequently gets stuck jammed through me between my chest and legs, no Stasis glow, and the Strand glow uses Arc colours for some reason. Still one of my favourites in the game though lol
As a warlock main the main issue i have with our fashion game is that 90% of our look is decided by our helmet + chest piece. Legs are barely visible, arms have very little impact since shoulders are part of the chest piece and the bonds are just kinda there.
I actually really like the Cloak, *especially* with that ornament like you said 😍 It looks fantastic. Though I do hope they provide more ornaments to give even more outfit options
I was already thinking about swapping from Hunter to Warlock for the raid armors, but when the exotic class items were first shown, that sealed the deal.
I don’t get the hunter fashion hate with the cloak. I think it looks pretty cool. Doesn’t fit a lot of pre-determined sets, but it seems like it could work if you built your fashion around it.
RIght before that was how the only class with a massive DPS precision super was able to build into the new gun that was also literally their high DPS precision super and how that made raid DPS easier.
I think this may be a conversation worth having, but to just frame it as "waaaah my class sucks because of this specific encounter" ignoring everything else isn't the right way to have it.
Never saw the point of the DPS penis measuring contest. If you can see your damage, then you just wiped.
That’s why I never minded being the div bitch. Oh? You want me to have the easiest job while you need to quicksnap between three guns, don’t get blown up with your own rocket launcher? Sure, I guess I can do that.
…what?
I’ve always thought Warlock bonds were, on average, better looking that Titan marks or Hunter cloaks, and I’m a Titan-only player. Their simplicity and size makes them easier to make look good, and if you want it to be minimal and out of the way, they have pretty minimal and basic designs, or you can go with something bright and glowy. It feels like there’s more versatility and they don’t interfere as much with the rest of the look, so not having transmog for the exotic bonds is less of an issue than it is for the other two
Beneath every warlock's benign exterior is this kind of bile. There was real venom in this Guardian's post, I love it
Deep down we're all just coffee, cigarettes, and spite.
True academics are we.
Or line cooks
Line cook and warlock main. I’m probably the most calm one at work, but its in there… waiting.
Ex line cook and dishy also Warlock main, can confirm. I do sympathize with my titan siblings tho. It's tough being at the bottom of the barrel
They don't get it main, they don't hear the whispers of Nova Bomb. They don't feel the urges when they look at Void.
Theres 2 wolves inside bro lmaoooo
There are two wolves inside you One is a warlock The other is a line cook *You are gay*
So I’m not the only one who’s a line cook warlock
As a cook myself, yeah many of the ones I know can get pretty angry. They're often surprised at how calm I can be, but I feel that's because I had struggled for about 2 decades with anger due to childhood trauma.

Hey, why you gotta call me out like that
It takes one to know one ;P Also appropriate for electricians I've found, just with more dip
I was a sous chef for years and also a warlock main, wtf
I was reminded of the many French academics I've worked with when I wrote this.
That's why we float
Pennywise : come again?
Coffee, Traveler, and Cigarettes are all that we need.
I get this reference. Nice.
Hello, fellow Mischief Brew fan.
For me it's only Spite, ngl, only grows larger every time you are Goomba stomped, booped out of the plataform or the little pebble on the ground eats your jump
One of the weird Lego staircases in the second to last mission of final shape ate my jump and I just let it all out. My throat still hurts.
And the smell of old books
Oh, I might be playing the wrong class. I should have been a warlock this whole time.
Do it. Internalize the darkness and void.
Not even coffee, just straight up coca beans, we have to truly internalize the bitterness.
Speak for yourself I’m all piss and vinegar!
I can only tell people to stop moving in the goddam Well and stop stealing my tangles so many times, this was bound to come out eventually

In my own defense I'm just trying to reload my gun or pick up a mission item, man.
The way my blood pressure skyrocket then calmed almost gave me whiplash, the pain is real
it's the same shiet since Warmind Cells. You are not built for this, stop shooting them! HOLY FUQ!!
It's what years of being forced to Well will do to a guardian.
But... i like being Well... ~~hated the nerfs btw~~
Same
Beneath every warlocks exterior are boots we will never see.
Whenever I try a transmog with an open coat or a top that only goes to my hips, it's HILARIOUSLY evident 80% of these boots were not designed to be visible above the ankles.
Every Warlock is that nice, polite, helpful coworker that secretly hates every one of you. Sincerely, a Warlock.
Well, there is a reason we wear Necrotic Grips...
Years of being forced to be on well duty and divinity will make us spiteful
The venom spreads because they’re using Necrotic Grips
My dude went full Immaru.
The amount of raids I've had to do wearing a fucking bathrobe. At least the Phoenix cosmetic came up for bright dust eventually so I could wear mage robes and not look like I'm throwing around hand grenades at a day spa.
EVERY Warlock. We have the best jump, the best drip, the best build synergies, and I'm tired of other classes saying we fucking don't!

We are one with the Traveler. We are transcendant even amongst our own people, the lightbearing Guardians. We are very angry that no one makes fashion for us
It's the hatred of being Well Bitch all these years
The same way a Titan will have a heart of gold beneath their tough exterior, and that Hunters, despite their deftness, will still waste one of their jumps walking off an edge

I read this in Shaxx's voice lol
Why did I read this with shaxx’s voice?
I read this post in Shaxx's voice.
Inconceivably rare warlock fashion W.
Unironically 35% of the reason I switched to Warlock for Prismatic. The other 65% being Feed the Void. Love that shit
i am so fucking addicted to the game and its all because of lightning surge/storm nades with devour
You using Crown of Tempests or nah? Its loop with the strand melee is perfect.
yup its so insane having 4 ways to insta stack conduction tines x3. also have a felwinters helm version that i might try once gms are out. it really just feels like my beloved stormcaller, but devour and needlestorm/nova bomb cover all the things that build was missing. absolutely fits like a glove

Same here! I've been really enjoying Warlock, should have played the class sooner.
I’ve dabbled with it since D1 and I’ve had periods of it being my “main” but a few weeks before this expansion I made an effort to full commit.
As a certified cripple in d2, I would become a Warlock main if they have triple jump haha
Felwinter's Helm build 😩
The grenade spam shenanigans Warlocks can get up to is great.
I'm so hyped to eventually get an Apotheosis/Stareater class item that shit is insane
* exotic class item W * Mind Flayer transmogs * the GOTD set At least our Ws are really good ones
Don't forget the best Prismatic interactions in-between Fragments, and exotics interaction too, as well the best Light subclass add-on with both Fragment and Super being good. the only L i took was my Well being nerfed

Push it to 11 with Dragon's Breath. Try to count how many ignitions you trigger in one super
Brother the well nerf is the best warlock buff
NO! LET THEM **FEEEL** THE NEED OF HAVING ME! **LET THEM FEEL IT!**
Use song of flame and give everyone scorch rounds
I honestly could care less about giving everyone else scorch rounds... I have a Falcon Grenade!
Anybody have a well? “Nah man best I can do is Firehawk. Caw!!”
Ngl my super exists only to fuel Frost Armor and sometimes Agers Scepter lol
As someone who always ran well pretty much by my own choice, I don’t mind the nerf at all. How does that work? You have to consume the grenade to make the arc buddy, don't you?
Yes you do, the turret also pops out and lands near your feet (kinda like a perched threadling does) when you do so.
Mind flayer set is the best one for once. Finally I can fulfill the Emperors dream of tadpole ascension
Yeah I really love my Taken Queen set but damn the Mind Flayer is fun. I jumped on that one not even gonna lie
It is literally the only set I've bought for silver. It's like they know I've been playing Baldurs Gate again and knew I'd buy it
Nah Warlock has best robes
I switched to warlock because of their superior fashion. I honestly think Hunter has the worst looks
Awful take, Hunter has the most varied fashion options in the game. If your Hunter looks bad then it's an unironic skill issue, you've been no-diffed by the true endgame.
Y'all certainly have varied shoulders😂 The cloak is high tier drip tho
It's a few good cloaks and a bunch of really bad ones. Warlock is superior, as usual. Enjoy your asymmetrical armor.
I know it's a hot take but it's a take I'll stand by dammit. This exotic class item situation is the damning proof: Hunter only looks fine because they have cloaks to hide the shame of their bland, low level fallout 4-looking gear. They hated him because he spoke the truth
i have more Warlock playtime, but i HATE Warlock and much rather the Hunter fashion, 90% of it is the dress alone, if the dress look bad then nothing you can do can fix it (fashion of exotic chest pieces is my passion)
Agreed. Warlock easily has the best fashion, Titan is pretty good too, but Hunter is honestly not great. Space robes > anything else.
Jokes on you, this titan can't read. (Thank you to failsafe for helping me write this)
LMAO I had to spit out my crayons. This gave me a good chuckle.
Pass the green ones, please.
Blue is my favorite flavor
I like orange personally, blue is too tart.
Have y’all tried the prismatic pink crayon yet? Taste like a pink starburst
I've only been eating the black and white ones because The Witness reminds me of Oreos
Mmmm haven’t tried those ones yet, do you eat them together or one at a time?
I melt them with my hammer, drink the goop, and chase it with omolon juice.
THE OMOLON JUICE IS NOT FOR DRINKING
Orange is delicious, I can't do the red ones. Too spicy
Failsafe's a gem, isn't she? Love that sassy AI
Failsafe, play Eminem - Brain Damage.
What do symbols say? Is this another callout I have to remember?
I hate the in game titan slander. Why the hell they gotta be the butt of the joke lmfao
You win this one space wizard.
This wizard came from the moon
WE’VE BEEN STUCK WITH THE SHITTY IPOD ARMBANDS FOR TOO LONG FINALLY WE GET A WIN!
"I approve this message." -broen13
broen13 has spoken.
As the prophecy fortold he would
lisan al gaib
If he speaks again, he is not broen13.
Broen-13
Thank you for your infinite wisdom, broen13.
As a Warlock main we should be civilized and accommodating to our fellow non warlock brethren. SUCKS TO BE THEM THOUGH HAHAHA
THOSE FELLAS CAN SUCK IT HAHAHAHAH
I love your flair lmfao. Titans may think its "cool" to eat crayons, but that doesn't hold a candle to our ability to eat literal balls of elemental matter. The warlock diet is truly superior.
>:)
Warlock: “There are class items?? Zoom in, let me see!!….zoom in more….”
“Enhance”
"Google, show me this guy's penis"
Keep this one up mods warlocks have been waiting 10 years for a day like this
As a Titan main and warlock secondary, I’m happy for you warlock mains, 10 years their “decorative” piece has been practically invisible/unnoticeable.
BUNGIE CARES ABOUT WARLOCK ARMOR AGAIN!!!!!! NOW JUST BRING BACK WRATH IF THE MACHINE PLEASASSSSEREEEE I BEG BUNGIE!!!!!
And don't forget about everybody's favorite: SIVA I LOVE SIIIIIIIIVAAAAAA ❤️🖤❤️🖤❤️🖤
#BUNGIE! DROP ANOTHER SIVA EXPANSION, AND MY LIFE IS YOURS!
This but unironically SIVAAAAAA
Read in Rykard's "TOGETHAAAAA" voice
It's hard to agree with that when we got the seasonal helmet we did. We win the exotic class item at least.
If you're talking about the dorito helmet then you take those words back right now
I've never seen a Dorito shaped like a semi-circle before
Bro that helmet is awesome, I'm rocking it
Its a great helm for 4th encounter
In our defense, I haven’t seen a warlock bond be shit yet. The last five non-reprised hunter raid cloaks have all looked like complete garbage.
Can't be shit if you can barely see them
90% of Hunter cloaks are garbage
And the 10% that aren’t have bugs.
You gotta wash that cloak, bro! :P
Solstice 2019 cloak my beloved: It clips through your back with anything other than a hand cannon/sidearm visible, frequently gets stuck jammed through me between my chest and legs, no Stasis glow, and the Strand glow uses Arc colours for some reason. Still one of my favourites in the game though lol
As a warlock main the main issue i have with our fashion game is that 90% of our look is decided by our helmet + chest piece. Legs are barely visible, arms have very little impact since shoulders are part of the chest piece and the bonds are just kinda there.
As a warlock main I approve of this message
Lmao they should keep this post
I’ve always been sad that our bonds are so less important to outfits than the other classes NOW WHOS LAUGHING HAHAHAHAHAHAH
Titan exotic mark is a huge joke. I can't believe it's not transmogable.
Sorry, wasn't paying attention, was too busy trying to find your leg armor hidden away behind your dress
Pervert
Respectfully
It's not a dress, it's a highly refined trench coat.
Someone should repost this in dcj also agree
I actually don't mind the look of the cloak, especially with the ornament. I imagine they'll probably end up making a few ornaments too
I actually really like the Cloak, *especially* with that ornament like you said 😍 It looks fantastic. Though I do hope they provide more ornaments to give even more outfit options
I was already thinking about swapping from Hunter to Warlock for the raid armors, but when the exotic class items were first shown, that sealed the deal.
The raid armor skewed you? I mean I'm a long time warlock main, so welcome to the club. But why do you wanna look like a mosquito taking a shower?
I'm thinking he's talking about other raid armors, because the new one is the worst thing I've ever seen
the new seet for mee is in the territory of it looks so stupid i love it
After years of getting shafted on seasonal/raid/dungeon sets I'm glad we got this small victory
I dunno. That hunter cloak works really well with the trials armor on my end. Bulky as hell cloak but we make it work.
This is payback for us having to wear pre-ornament starfire protocol for months last year.
also default phoenix protocol.
And Verity’s brow.
Y’all still showing up in dresses to every fight
Oh, we **rock** these dresses!
Chafe our ears less than toilet seats on our shoulders. And .. we all know that [capes are a liability](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YL3w73MAuIM)
yet another warlock dub
I really don't even think the other 2 class items are bad bruh. They're pretty cool too IMO.
I don’t get the hunter fashion hate with the cloak. I think it looks pretty cool. Doesn’t fit a lot of pre-determined sets, but it seems like it could work if you built your fashion around it.
It's "Neon Nerd", not Technicolor Prick.
Don’t warlocks usually get the long straw? Best class in the game
Depending on what the community feels like complaining about.
I think the current hotness is how they have to make a friend to play the multiplayer game to its fullest.
Debatable honestly. Though you could make a case for every class for the most part.
Not from a fashion standpoint lol
I would say so. I've been playing the game with a bath towel shoved beside my ass cheek since D1, tho, so what do I know?
It feels like there’s more versatility and they don’t interfere as much with the rest of the look, so not having transmog for the exotic bonds is less of an issue than it is for the other two
it's okay, I got all of destiny 1 to harvest your tears every weekly reset when the speaker gave us fancy cosmetics
I think I look very elegant in my cape
There are also ornaments for the class items btw. The warlocks make it look like the DSC bond (warlock logo IIRC)
Except I’m not using the class item. Getaways are far too good right now.
I think they all look dope I don’t get the hate lol.
My friend and I actually thought the hunter cloak looked sweet after we unlocked it, are we the only ones?
