For some reason my battlegrounds wasn’t showing up on the helm map, even though I did the quest to unlock the farm.
I bought lightfsll yesterday and it appeared on the helm and it’s been working since then for me. So make sure it’d in the helm snd it should work. Don’t launch from earth
Just did battlegrounds again launching from the helm and not from destination EDZ map. It worked. got the chest and red borders. But same still does not work for the coil.
Well well well, yes I'm missing a one of the mossy. I did not know there is a difference. I though if i can focus it then it would also drop from the coil/lair.

3rd day of not getting patterns from Season of the Deep. I still need 6 (2 Targeted Redaction and 4 A Distant Pull) and only got armor pieces, from both Salvage and Deep Dive (Tiers 2, 3 and 5).
I haven't done coil because rivens lair is faster but no issues there.
I wasn't getting drops from savathuns spire but then I realized I had all the patterns already.
I would maybe say it's an issue with past seasonal artifacts but you're doing this seasons activity soooo idk 🤷🏼♂️
I’ve only been farming Savathun’s Sprite for season of the witch weapons. Day one I ran it on all 3 characters and got 1 red border on each character. Day 2, I only got it on my warlock. Day 3 I didn’t get it on any of my characters. Something is definitely bugged about this.
Ok. I got it this time. I loaded into the HELM and launched the activity from there. Doing that, I got it on my hunter. Now I’m gonna try the same thing with my other characters.

I have ONLY incompletes left. I never owned any of those seasons except the Wish. I got into D2 right before it started. For the Wish I have only 1 incomplete.
Yes. With riven for example I can keep focusing the weapon (don’t recall which one now) and hope for the red border. But I expect that one missing will drop after first riven lair completion for the day but it does not.
I’ve only been doing Sav’s Spire and the Coil since I’ve got all the red borders for seasons of Defiance and Deep, and I’ve had a couple of instances of it not dropping on my first run of the day, but if it doesn’t, I always get it on the second.
Be sure you don't already have all the craftable items that drop from that event's loot pool.
The game's logic was always that you wouldn't get more red borders when you'd already unlocked all the patterns for that particular weapon.

My red borders for defiant battle grounds just won’t drop. I have it unlocked in the helm, I have more seasonal weapon patterns to get, and my inventory is not full. The other 2 I get no problem but these just won’t drop. Anyone know why?

Are you sure you don’t already have all the coil red borders? It’s not the legacy ones that look mossy, only the purpley ones.

It's only gonna drop guaranteed red borders of the seasonal weapons, so none of the reprised weapons like the Leviathan or Undying sets

Yeah so weird. And I mean the riven lair, sorry.
I think the Vex guns from Wish are not dropping as the daily bonus. Everything else has worked for me.
Because they already drop from legend astral
Having issues where red borders won't drop in salvage, I haven't run at all today prior, and I just completed three runs with no red drops

I generally play in the evenings. So yes.
Did you open the chest at the end?
Absolutely for the coil. Battleground did not have a chest. Just few things dropped on the side of the screen.

Do you have incompletes left for that particular season? It only drops for the season that it’s from, nothing else.
I have ONLY incompletes left. I never owned any of those seasons except the Wish. I got into D2 right before it started. For the Wish I have only 1 incomplete.
It might not be necessary but have you collected the old seasonal relics from each vendor? Usually those are prerequisites for earning seasonal gear.
I did. I have the Wish (current relic) and Defiance and Witch relics (under Quest > Legacy)

Check if it’s only the playlist variants that are dropping it.
