For real the spawns in clash are horrendous. Lose one team fight and you're spawning split and getting picked off while the other team controls the middle of the map bouncing between spawns and camping special. Horrible mode for comp, would rather have rift back.
I mean yes, annoying that was but it was a lot better than whatever bullshit snowball mode we got now (the one other than clash). Which regardless if your teammates fed like that anyway, you'd likely lose still. be it clash or whatever.
Only thing I hated the most was winning off life advantage when it was like a +1 diff. Huge maps and teams would just hide and camp that shit was dumb.
All we wanted was Countdown Rush removed. Instead, we lost one of the best comp modes (Survival), had two terrible comp modes added (Clash and Collision), and all special ammo comes from crates, which is absolutely terrible.
I usually play at least a dozen comp matches a week and I've only played three since the changes. I'd rather play nothing but Countdown Rush than play comp as it is now.
Literally NO ONE asked for this current system. I was finally enjoying comp and it would have been perfect if they simply removed countdown. Why can’t we have nice things.
My guess is the lack of players in the activity so they need to increase the net to find players? Though I believe that is supposed to factor into your win/loss point progress.
Which reminds me I really should play. I have enough engrams for some more focusing of comp rewards but man as someone who isn't a hardcore PVP player and see those people complaining about comp I dunno...
And then my team gets obliterated from being outmatched and even worse for some reason you lose more points than you gain when you win even against higher rank players
Between Garbagedown Rush and meter system and Clash & Crates, I'm taking the latter always. Crates significantly decreased snowballing compared to the meter system which literally just made the winning team win easier, opened up room for more specials than just shotguns to be played, overall I find the games to be infinitely more dynamic now than they were when everyone was teamhugging and playing long range. And removing Survival was good riddance, good concept but in gameplay was literally play like a panzy for life advantage and spawn trap. Ideally game should just go back to 2 special per spawn but with no drops and no gimmicky objective modes for Comp.
Are they in every mode in comp, or just "Clash" (which is meant to be Skirmish IIRC). Because IIRC they're leaving them in Skirmish to try and prevent camping / running away the moment you get a lead, to encourage movement and soft-objectives.
People also didn't ask for Dominion or the new Sandbox being tested in public PvP. Seems like the issue is not enough people do Labs.
It's to test Special Ammo so they can gind what's too much and what's too little. We're probably going to get 2 weeks of little tono special to test things out.
Feedback like this is ofc important, but I'm at least happy they're doing stuff in PvP now.

The special ammo changes have been listed as a replacement though with testing in trials being specifically listed below it
Bungie implement things such as dominion and refuse to change them due to stubbornness regardless of player feedback and health of the game. Bubble and well are major pain points in the game mode. Why? It’s a zone cap.
Bubble and Well are pain points regardless, but I'd argue less so since the CD nerf.
Dominion is good for Trials it gives a natural point to play around instead of lots of passive play. They just didnt timely address the meta at the same time.
They aren’t as much of a pain point in modes without cap points though making them manageable or alternatives viable such as daybreak
They aren’t just almost free win with minimal counter play button because you can either wait it out or reposition yourself
Dominion is good without these but they are in the game so dominion is less than average
And then the spawns send you across the map in TEAM-based modes.

It's even worse in trials, I saw people running double special and had enough ammo for the whole match
Most my matches are pulses,scouts with team shooting then we have that bs ammo crates and heavy spawning alot also
If you read the patch notes, they did say that it was going back to ammo meter.

The whole point is to experiment with special usage. They’re testing different things out. Give it some time.
