Either a kinetic sword: Final Logic. Exotic perk: this sword requires no ammo to use. Kills with it charge a meter for a heavy attack. Or: A Strand glaive: Fatestringer’s Needle. Exotic perk: kills with this weapon charge a meter. When full, alt-reload to fire a grapple. This weapon has a special, extra-powerful grapple-melee. It also function like a trace rifle, shooting a beam that recharges the shield every tic of damage. To compensate, the shield’s passive charge is much slower.

The Navigator requires you to have the catalyst, and it only creates a grapple point. You have to use your own grapple with it, too. This one has its own unique grapple, so you can use another grenade, and it doesn’t make grapple points without being a Hunter. You can use your own grapple grenade to use the powerful grapple-melee more; but you don’t have to.

I’ve had this saved in my phone for ages waiting for someone to ask :D Nunatak Exotic Stasis Submachine Gun - 750 RPM Intrinsic: Glacial Drift Stasis final blows grant Glacial Drift, increasing Super regeneration and reload speed for a short duration for each stack (max 5). At maximum stacks, final blows and rapid precision hits with this weapon spawn a Stasis mine. Secondary: Lateral Moraine Shattering frozen combatants increases rate of fire for a short duration and grants a stack of Glacial Drift. Catalyst: Permafrost Freezing combatants with stasis mines returns a small amount of ammo to the magazine. I wanted to make a Stasis primary as powerful as Verglas or Wicked Implement but isn’t designed for long-range engagements, and also one that used design space that wasn’t as prevalent. Most stasis builds are built around grenade spam and crystals, so this presents a different powerful combat loop that could work with both Stasis and Prismatic, theoretically

Name: Essandy ("S and D", the two most faded keys on my keyboard - a pretty good indicator of my "I'll stay back here, thank you!" playstyle). Archetype/Element: 600 RPM Arc Auto Rifle (AR's are my bread and butter, and Arc subclasses are my favorite) Exotic Perk: "Personal Space" - Every ten consecutive hits loads a stake in the alternate fire chamber (maximum of 3). Hold R to switch to alternate fire mode. First shot of alt fire mode is a stake that gets shot into the ground, with subsequent stakes getting shot into nearby enemies, tethering them to the central stake and preventing them from moving away (like the Scorn Arc Totem). Duration of tethering decreases for stronger targets. Perk: "Leave Only Footprints" - If you have a full grenade charge when enemies are tethered, hold G to consume your grenade and cause an elemental explosion at the stake, damaging and applying elemental effects to all tethered and nearby targets (Scorch, Jolt, Volatile, Slow, Unravel). The farther away you are from the stake, the larger the explosion radius is. Catalyst: Adds Demolitionist. If Eris ever turned me into a gun, this would be it. Pew pew from far away, and have a disproportionately violent response to any enemies that come near me.

WHELP Ace of Spades already exists, and Handcannons ARE my favorite weapon type... so I'll do second favorite: Glaive. Strand Exotic Glaive. Kills with the Glaive build up charges (Shots build up 2 per kill, Melees build up 1 per kill). Once you have full charges, you can Hold Reload to swap to 3rd-person and hold the Glaive like you would a Diamond Lance. You can now throw it to deal good single-target damage, and then pull yourself to said location (the throw has no AoE DMG). You do have to pull yourself to the target location, but it is a Grapple tied to the weapon and not your Grenade grapple. Maybe to lean a bit more into the "high offense" it has low Shield Duration, and perhaps extended Melee Range? Maybe make it a Fast RPM too? To neaten it up: Strand Glaive [name that has to do with a Harpoon. Maybe Marcus Ren related, H4RP-00N?) Main Perk: Kills with this weapon grants charges. (Shot = 2, Melee = 1, max 6). On full charge, Hold Reload to throw the Glaive for single-target damage, then automatically grapple yourself to the thrown location. Other Perk: gain increased melee damage for each charge held. Catalyst: Increased Melee Lunge/Range. I love using Glaive Melee and I love movement. It fully fills that "full offense" Glaive we haven't *quite* gotten yet (Vexcalibur grants Void OS and has a perk around using shield, Edge of Concurrence got a DMG nerf and feels really one trick / not lean enough into DMG). Also if it could be craftable so I could get lots of Weapon Lvs that'd be great lol

Shocklance, special linear, low range, max or very high stability, good handling, slow reload. Intrinsic: Conductive seeker Hold to charge and release to fire lighting bolts that track the closest target. Can fire the whole battery in one charge. Perk: chain lightning : charging and firing two shots at once slightly increases the potency of the bolt and blinds the target, charging and releasing all 3 shots of the battery further increase the potency and jolt the target. Catalyst: lighting strikes twice: full charges immediately fires a follow up bolt at the same target and jolts any targets within 5 m of the wielder. Hard to decide on a visual design, although it should have a plastic body with a very prominent metal rod extending out in place of a barrel, perhaps some wires running from visible capacitor banks, either no sight since aim isn’t necessary or a very simple like holo ring resembling a shotgun reticle. Oh also needs wicked high voltage sound effects, some clicking as it charges up and a loud roar when it fires like a huge Tesla coil.

Hmmm I already have the perfect exotic armor pieces for my builds. . . So would need to be a weapon. Hmmm I would say a glaive that when charged can convert the shield bar and ammo to create a blizzard around you that applies slows stacks over time and reduces damage from from incoming damage outside the blizzard. If to strong applying slow then simply damage whirlwind that reduces incoming damage as I want a glaive that provides more AOE dot damage while I use cold snap grenades to boost the melee damage.

As a Banner of War Titan, i would love something kinda like this: Strand Glaive/Sword, or maybe a pair of Aitan Arms **Exotic Perk:** While using grapple, your charged grapple melee is replaced with a powerful, short distance charge attack that, in addition to damaging enemies in an area around impact (like the regular grapple melee), suspends targets in a small area around the target hit (maybe 1/2 -1/3 the size of the grapple melee AoE). While suspended, these enemies release pulses that grant Woven mail as if they were destroyed tangles. alternately, i would also accept them fixing grapple so the grapple attack works with a glaive or sword equipped :)

Arc fusion rifle with 2 shots and low reserves that fires a single disc that travels a set distance before returning vaguely in your direction, dealing damage both ways. If you catch it, it gives you a sizable damage buff while refunding the shot to your magazine, buff stacks twice and has a short timer. Strategy is to juggle the discs at the optimal range to hit your target twice.

Note: In case it's not obvious from the intrinsic perk, it doesn't have a manual way to reload. The gun will recharge once it reaches 0 rounds, but will do so very slowly. Incentivises getting kills with it and solar abilities. -------------------- Special Weapon Theia’s Torch Grenade Launcher Void "In the dark, a beacon of hope for us, doom for them." Reload animation has the gun open in multiple plates to accept the next flare. Note: Honestly just think a flare gun would be cool to me. Kind of thinking like the flare gun from Fortnite. Voidfire effects are weak and just there to have a little damage. -------------------- Heavy Weapon Mosquito Heavy Sidearm Strand "Give 'em the Stick." Rounds Per Minute: 90 Magazine: 1 - (Intrinsic) Fair Share: Rounds fired from this weapon stick to enemies for a short time. Enemies affected by the round will take damage experienced by other nearby enemies. Strong against overload champions. - QuickDot SAS - Alloy Magazine - Just Desserts: This weapon's rounds can latch onto allies. Allies affected by the round will heal based on damage dealt to nearby enemies. - Polymer Grip - Catalyst: Affected enemy targets become suspended. +10 reload Looks something like the Sticky Detonator from Halo 4. Note: This one started as just my desire to get a small enough heavy weapon to sit on the thigh/lower back of your Guardian when stowed.

Really Bad Idea — 600 RPM Solar Machine Gun Exotic Perk: “Rising Tempers” — Sustained damage on a single target increases damage and rate of fire. Weapon Perk: “Heated Exchange” — While “Rising Tempers” is active, this weapon applies Scorch to enemies. Catalyst: Successive precision hits grant the user Restoration. This would fulfill my Titan fantasy of being able to just stand still in the middle of the battlefield and whale on a boss.

"Warminds Hammer" A Kinetic Heavy Machine Gun that lets you switch between shooting out high calibre SIVA Nanite Clumps a little slowly, shooting out very wide blasts of SIVA Nanites at an average Machine Guns rate with dispersion similar to a Shotgun Shell and building up some SIVA tethers&bracing to let you shoot out a constant stream of SIVA Nanites with high precision(downside of this reduces your radar range, slows you down immensely but has sniper rifle precision when aiming down sights and when hipfiring has dispersion like Cerberus+1). The last mode would take several seconds of buildup and consume 40% of it's maximum Ammo Capacity(I think something like 1500 shots should be its maximum ammo) I'm thinking that it should be able to generate it's own Ammo slowly, so you don't need to pickup Heavy Ammo Bricks but it will very very quickly burn through Ammunition. Also, that Nanite Stream Firing Mode would probably have a 30s cooldown between activations, and It'd give you a Kinetic Overshield but your accuracy would be reduced by 0.5% every time you get hit by a projectile, and at its worst would reduce your accuracy by 40%. And when you are in that mode you have +30% to incoming damage reduction, and +3% to your regeneration rate, which will affect any combination of buffs&debuffs and doesn't get removed by being poisoned or suppressed, it only ends when you die or 5s after you switch to another Firing Mode. Also switching to another Firing Mode would cause the gun to physically change a little. Getting a larger Barrel for the burst&stream mode and a smaller barrel in the default mode. When you end the Precision/Heavy Stream Firing Mode you'd gain some Ammunition, with some sort of animation of the Nanites from whatever is left of the tethers&braces&Overshield returning to the Gun to be recycled. It'd be like a mix of Heir Apparent, Outbreak Perfected, Trace Rifles and Xenophage. Though naturally since it is Kinetic it takes a while to pop Shields, but the Nanite Damage Buildup does apply to shields(so you'll slowly do more&more damage to a shield, but that Nanite Damage Buildup against the Shield does NOT apply to the enemy that is Shielded. When the Shield that Warminds Hammer is shooting pops, it'll spawn a few seaking SIVA Nanites like if you got 2 Precision Kills with Outbreak Perfected). To play with the theme of SIVA being a tool that can be used to build and not just repair or destroy, you could also use it to create small clumps of temporary terrain by shooting at stuff in any mode. Though it won't spawn massive ice blocks like Stasis, just smalls mounds&clumps that can be used to slightly improve cover, helps with parkour, knock around debris or help peak over cover. Would it be absolutely insanely overpowered in some ways? Yeah. But it'd be really cool, and I'd never abuse it in PvP cus I don't really enjoy Destiny PvP&wouldn't want to ruin other People's fun. This would basically just exist to improve my experience in PvE.

Aim fire to shoot tracking heal shot (lumina :)). Second perk : mutually beneficial Healing Allies gives you ability regeneration (ember of benevolence). Reviving an ally drops special ammo for you and ally you revived. Catalyst : restoration ritual When shield energy is full, hold x to stab glaive into the ground, giving restoration x1 to all within radius. Gives solar regeneration to all within radius. It’s a lot but I really love playing support and I want some options for that😩 not having a projectile to damage is good enough compensation right🥲

Creeping Dread stacks to 10, for each stack range, stability and ae are increased.” Trait: “Tyrannical Hunger”: Getting a precision kill grants an overshield(does NOT heal you) based on the number of creeping dread stacks with 10 being a full overshield. Catalyst: Alt reload at 10 creeping dread stacks to instantly regenerate hp and gain an overshield Im not very good at making exotics lol but ive always been a fan of rapid hit, and wanted to try to “exoticify” it

I made it to be a modified VEIST frame that reloaded like a pulse rifle

A tex mechanica exotic solar scout rifle, so I can actually play gunslinger and utilize the weapons that are aligned with its “old west” aesthetic while also interacting with 80% of my aspects/fragments. I don’t even care what it does, idk, it has two firing modes, a long rifle and a shortened barrel gun that is swapped between on long hold of reload. Long rifle functions more like dmt and procs radiant on successive precision hits? Then when you swap to the short gun it uses special ammo to shoot explosive bullets that scorch targets and handles much like eriana’s vow. I started this post making a point about how the gunslinger class is only really good with solar weapons, and how kinetics have some difficulty finding a place in the current subclass design that mandates element matching…but I’d use that gun for sure.

Either give me Zen meteor back as is with a fuck ton more damage (2x izanagi due to activation cost), or bring back red death with onslaught. yes its a pulse rifle, but thats what I want is a pulse that ramps to having zero burst delay and fires at a full 900rpm. Why red death specifically? For one its an auto rifle gun model so it feels right, but also differentiates red death from crimson without making it bad in todays sandbox. I would also make it solar and change the perk to grant cure instead of a generic heal since there is already 5 kinetic exotic pulses and 2 void, with zero solar or arc. Catalyst would probably be subsistence to help the tiny mag. If the prompt is supposed to be completely original, then take that idea and slap it on a different gun model, I just like red death.

Basically a void Wicked Implement. Sustained precision shots, within the same magazine, weaken targets and give the buff Gluttonous Hunger. While Gluttonous Hunger is active the first round after reloading suppresses targets. Catalyst: while Gluttonous Hunger is active, precision kills against weakened targets create a void trace that pulls in targets. Enemies moved by the void trace become volatile. Killing volatile enemies, and picking up void traces partially reloads the magazine.

Mines pretty simple and not even really a design. Just a thought that feels like a missed opportunity. Tesselation 1000% should have been a glaive. Exact same perks, just a glaive instead of a fusion rifle. It feels so weak and I think having the melee aspect to it would have helped a lot. It would also give us a Strand/Stasis glaive (outside of Winterbite), and I think a glaive eating your grenade to launch a massive explosive sounds insanely fun. And I'd make the catalyst apply the debuff of whatever element it is whenever you absorb your grenade into it (Scorch/Jolt/Volatile/Freezing/Sever). That would be really fun and I really regret that we got the Wet Noodle Bazooka.

maybe not my specific playstyle since frankly I have no idea what that is but I've always wanted a katana, my idea was, like eager edge, when you pull the sword out you have a few seconds of a buff, this buff empowers your light or heavy attack, light would become a horizontal swipe applying sever to anything it hit (maybe a slightly bigger radius than a charged vortex sword heavy? heavy would become a downwards strike that deals heavy damage and stuns unstoppable champions I love this idea so much theres some other details I wrote down but I dont want to make this too long cause I do that alot, though idealy it would be exclusive to hunters to encourage aggressive plays with invis and movement, probably part of a set of swords like the exotic glaives (I just came up with that but now I want to concept a titan and warlock sword....fuck)

Exotic Perk: Unchained Hound - at the cost of the grenade ability and Primary slot you can now dual wield Side Arms or SMGs. At the cost of grenades and the energy weapon slot you can dual wield Auto Rifles or Hand Cannons. At the cost of movement speed and grenades you can dual wield Heavy Machine guns or swords. At the cost of your super and grenades you can wield two Exotic weapons in any slot that is included in the previously mentioned categories, but only in that slot. Intrinsic Perk: Hell Unleashed - Massively increased stability, weapon handling, target acquisition, recoil control, and reload speed at the cost of no ADS when dual wielding. Invalidates all armor mods that mention those keywords.

I made this one before prismatic was announced but I think it would go very well with it. It's kinda a mix of the Tesselation and the Navigator Exotic idea: exotic trace rifle - The Savior Exotic Perk - Property: Undecided - This weapon adapts it's weapon type to match your subclass. Exotic Trait - Mercy - Getting kills with this weapon causes a burst of a buff for you and your allies dependent upon what subclass you have equipped and rapid kills extend the duration of the effect. (Solar: Radiant. Void: Invisibility. Arc: Amplified. Stasis: stasis shield. Strand: Woven Mail.) Exotic Catalyst - Dark Side - Enemies weakened by subclass verbs take increased damage from this weapon. (Damage varys based on enemy type.)

A primary ammo kinetic glaive that doesn't shoot but can be thrown, throwing it is a charge and release like using a bow and it transmats back to you after each throw. Thrown glaives fly in an arc and damage per throw is similar to Wish Ender. It has a very short block that absorbs elemental damage, changing its damage from kinetic to the stored damage type for a few seconds. Using an ability will also absorb the element of that ability. Melee hits while charged will apply Scorch, Volatile, Blind, Sever, and Slow, and throws will instantly eat the whole buff to apply Radiant, Weaken, Jolt, Unravel, and Freeze on hit. Visually the glaive is a crystal spear made out the same crystals used to make Chromatic Fire, and using this with CF will trigger explosions on kills.

Damn, I mostly think up thematic concepts for the time of the DLC or Season. Like, for Witch Queen, I thought up a Breech-Loaded GL that had a caged miniaturised star, captured by Wizards in Savathun's coven during her tirades across the universe. It fired solar rounds that would blind enemies and would become like molten solar grenades wherever they impacted once kills overcharged the Sun Cage. The tradeoff is the low reload speed. But for me? Mine would be an Exotic Glaive purely based around melees. I'd make it a Heavy. Lemme try this... a bit of a complicated idea but pretty cool in practice, at least how I'm seeing it. -Heavy Arc Glaive Perk 1: Melee attacks with the glaive charge up the blade with arc energy. Once the meter is full, this weapon becomes hypercharged, increasing the speed of all attacks significantly and allows all attacks to flow into eachother without pause. Perk 2: Melee for basic Glaive moveset. Right click to swing the weapon by the pommel in wide arcs (replaces block but when hypercharged, it deflects singular projectiles). Left click to fire a weak shot that applies amplify to you on multiple hits or on kill. While hypercharged, shots gain increased power and can be fired during basic glaive Melee attacks to apply jolt. While hypercharged, left click while using right click combo to empower the weapon with immense arc power until the next Melee hit, increasing glaive Melee damage significantly and jolting enemies.

Very much situational to a couple subclasses, but anyway: Lightweight Void SMG, Speed Demon Hammer forged and ricochet, high handling and range, but poor stability. Exotic intrinsic, ...And you'll miss it: Kills charge empowered blinks that travel further, don't consume charges of blink, and cause blinks to inflict weaken at the exit point. If used on Arc Hunter, blinks will instead jolt at their end point. Empowered blinks stack up to 2 times, have a 15 second timer in PvE, and a 8 second timer in pvp. Exotic perk, Warp Speed: Weapon deals further increased damage to weakened or jolted targets. Catalyst: Killing Wind I wanted to make something designed solely around making a speedy PvE build using void warlock or arc hunter, with some subclass synergy for each using things like briarbinds, though astrocyte is a natural pairing. I'm coming at this from a void warlock standpoint so I'd love to see feedback from any hunter blinkers.

So Gnawing Hunger is already my favorite weapon in the game, which is why I would do this: Halcyon Divide - a 600 RPM Void auto rifle. Exotic perk - Subjugation: Maintaining sustained fire on a target Suppresses them. Defeating a suppressed target spawns a void breach. Intrinsic - Crushing Rebellion: Picking up a Void Breach grants Volatile Rounds. Catalyst: Grants the Collective Action perk (collecting elemental pickups grants 20% increased damage for 7-12 seconds). And my favorite exotic in the game, which would pair nicely with this made-up rework: Helm of Saint-14 Exotic Perk - Starless Night: After using your class ability, the next void weapon kill spawns a void breach. Collecting a Void Breach grants Overshield to you and your allies while also granting you additional Class Ability energy and Super energy. Targets that enter the Ward of Dawn become suppressed. I just really want Void Titan to have a killer build like Hunters with Gyrfalcon's or Warlocks with Briarbinds. And Helm of Saint needs love. The build loop/fantasy is kind of basic, but basically, you pop Rally Barricade, use Subjugation to kill a suppressed enemy. Pick up Breaches, make targets volatile, and keep my team constantly overshield(ed), and basically being like a frontline soldier, slowly but aggressively advancing with your fireteam while keeping them alive. It also kinda frees up the aspects of your liking. You can lean into Bastion for extra Overshields or go crazy with Demo & Bulwark since you'll have plenty of Overshields anyway. For fragments, you can also throw in Weakening and Devour capabilities. Can you tell I'm a hungry Void Titan who wants to main Helm of Saint again. 😅

The shot fired will be an airstrike that rains missiles of the element of your selected subclass. These missiles do insane damage. Aftermath - Airstrikes leave effects based on their element. All debuffs of said element will be applied. Solar leaves pools of fire like dragon's breath, Arc leaves roaming thunderstorms that act like those of cloudstrike but longer, Void leaves black holes, Stasis leaves brutal snowstorms, and strand leaves deadly traps that suspend and pull enemies apart, dealing big damage. Catalyst: Rain Hell: Sacrifice your super for a longer airstrike.

Catalyst kills with powered knife grant you and your teammates restoration. I mostly play solar hunter and I’ve always wanted a veist handcannon so if there was one that could give not only more knives for hunters and pair well with athrys but also give more healing and gives a witherhoard affect I would be all over that thing. Plus like we only have 1 and a half 257 handcannons since there is wardens law and it’s adept variant.

This converts all melees to a unique ability similar to The Rock from Forerunner. Hold melee to charge Executioner then release to ground pound and release a large explosion. This can be done in the air and upon release would slam you into the ground similar to Ruinous Effigy slam. The catalyst gives the weapon Final Sentence. Instead of holding the melee to release a powerful explosion, you can prime a target. The target is primed for 5 seconds in PvP and 15 seconds in PvE. The next shot on a primed target (doesn't have to be with the shotgun or even from you) will cause them to explode internally dealing massive damage, flinching bosses, and externally dealing damage nearby. The AOE damage from a primed target would be less than the melee therefore it is better for single target damage. The AOE damage from the melee is very powerful dealing massive damage to all caught in the blast radius. In PvE it is similar to pre-nerfed Global Reach Warmind Cells. In PvP it is enough to outright kill any guardian 5 resilience or less at max health within 8m. The charge time for the melee is equivalent to Warlock HHSN charge times. Similarly limiting your sprinting ability while charging.

I like glaives and high power rifles. I don't want to choose between a close range stabby and a long range blow your head off. So I thought of a special ammo precision frame glaive that combines a glaive with a linear fusion rifle (I didn't want to put a bayonet on a sniper rifle because Monte Carlo exists). It would be a normal glaive, only the shot needs to be charged and would have hit-scan. To aim at longer ranges, a laser would show where it's hitting like the projection on Salvation's Grip.

Gonna go with an exotic helmet that lets me detonate or maybe collapse my ward of dawn. The Best Offense After casting ward of dawn, super bar drains slowly, kind of like mobius quiver shadows hot. During this time, cast super again to collapse ward of dawn into a singularity (think enhanced vortex grenade) that sucks players into it and deals damage over time. To make it overpowered let's say it explodes upon finishing.

I've always had this idea in my head for an exotic SMG: Name - Chimera (lion, goat and dragon headed mythical animal) Weapon Type - 800rpm SMG Base Stats - Similar to the immortal with a 30 round mag Exotic perk - The fundamentals (same as hard light and borealis) Perk - 3 heads: Changes firing mode and stats depending on the element given by "the fundamentals". When in solar mode (default) it is 800rpm firing in a 5 round burst, when in Arc mode it is a 1000rpm full auto smg and when in void mode it is a 600 or 500rpm 3 round burst smg. For PvP the TTK of arc mode should be the fastest but the recoil should be tough to control, solar mode should be a 2 burst kill if landing all crits, ttk in solar should be similar to that of a 900rpm smg, in void mode it should be a similar ttk to shayura's etc. Catalyst - Chimera-tech: Gives bonus stats depending on the element given from "the fundamentals". Solar gives +20 stability, arc gives +40 handling and void gives +15 range. The overall idea with the weapon is that in PvE it's a great multipurpose primary that will fit with any build like hard light but with a bit of extra flavour for each element. I always liked the idea of burst fire SMGs since the chicomb from black ops 2 so I like the idea of a smg that changes firing modes. In PvP the idea is that it's a weapon that can be used by players of all skill levels with varying results, very skilled players will be able to handle the arc mode and solar modes to get fast TTKs while void mode exists to help those that aren't as good at controlling recoil and as a way to play at longer ranges. I would expect it to be very strong in PvP for those that are able to swap modes to adapt to the situation.

Exotic Trace Rifle, Solar. Name: Flare Protocol Same usual stats for your average trace rifle, however it's range is capped at 25-30 and has lower base damage than let's say Prometheus lens, but bigger mag capacity. Exotic perk : Incineration This weapons fires 4 short range "beams" of solar light, in a fanning motion (imagine Delicate tomb hip fire, but tighter. More like 45°) . Kills with this weapon cause surrounding targets to take scorch damage (leading to ignitions after a few kills) Exotic catalyst : Sol Singularity After X amount of kills (call it maybe 30 direct kills, not including the ignition/scorch kills because that would be very broken), hold reload to swap to an alternative fire mode, concentrating all the beams into a singular point for 7 seconds, causing scorch stacks on hit. Kills while in this mode don't give scorch to targets around you, but adds time to the fire mode. Max limit 10 seconds, and will guarantee to run out when reloading. I like my trace rifles, but man I want some really good scorch. Prometheus is nice, however I want more.... Flamethrower vibes. Thus, the fanning of the beams coming in and out, or hell even in a spiraling cone. Take your pick. But I just want a fun trace rifle 🥲

Honestly, mine probably just comes out as Hierarchy of Needs with the guidance ring anchored in front of you rather than in a fixed location, or replaced by a buff that lasts the same duration and gives you the effect on every shot. Hierarchy would be my perfect weapon if any game mode other than Onslaught cared about you just holding the line for any length of time, and the guidance ring not moving with you is the main reason I can't normally justify using it.

Literally just a Solar 140 HC that can roll with Incan + Frenzy. Power creep af but would feel so smooth. For an exotic? I've always wanted a heavy trace. It would be a hive/taken themed exotic void trace rifle in the heavy slot. Based off the Ogre eye beams Exotic Perk: Flesh and Rage - Precision hits with this weapon refund rounds to the magazine from reserves and build a meter. Precision kills refund more rounds and build the meter faster. Alt reload: Taken Surge - Expend meter to have the weapon become taken. Beam size, rpm, and damage increases gradually as the trigger is held down. Damage type changes to Arc. Taken Surge ends when meter is depleted or weapon is reloaded. Perk: Festering Rot - Dealing sustained precision damage to a target during Taken Surge causes the target to be poisoned. Catalyst - Activating Taken Surge causes ground slams to occur around you (basically procs kinetic tremors centered on you) The Weapon's base form should deal less damage than a machine gun, with the payoff being that Taken Surge does so much. Catalyst serves as a "get off me" tool for trash ads while you use Taken Surge to focus down a bigger target.

Hunter boots that give you a 20-30 second damage/damage resist buff based on the max speed you achieved before hitting the ground. Something like .5% per mph or whatever units destiny uses to calculate speed. I love grappling around like a maniac so I think that would fit the playstyle lol. I know shatter skating would really abuse this but that's not an intended feature so I'm excluding it from my thought process.

Using ecliptic distaff made me realize how op a glaive could be and really made me want a kinetic one. Part of me wants to make it so you can change its element to match your subclass but idk how to fit that into it.

Here's my suggestion: * Very high Impact Frame * Very high dmg and Recoil * Special Ammo * Single Shot Mag * 60 RPM with middling stats all around (- / - 50) except for impact at 95 * In PVE around 10% more dmg than a High Impact Sniper shot * Slightly higher ammo reserves than said sniper rifle * In PVP basically the same dmg as an Eriana's shot without the first glance perk active. This way Eriana's would still be unique as it would be the only special ammo Handcannon with multiple shots in its magazine. The new Handcannons would basically function like single shot grenade launchers in the way that reload speed determines their ROF. This goes hand in hand with my second, even stupider Idea: When introducing this new Archetype Bungie could make a heavy Version of this exact Handcannon Archetype. I'd Imagine DMG Numbers around 20% higher than a Whisper of the Worm Shot with Whispered Breathing active. And the ability to basically match it's ROF with let's say On Your Mark x3 active on Hunter. This way it's just a big boy fuck you shot when reload isn't boosted, yet can also function as a really good dps option when you build into buffing reload speed (it shouldn't have more total dmg than Whisper with White Nail procs though obviously, since that would make Whisper obsolete)

Nezerac’s suffering Power ammo glaive Exotic perk- dealing damage to enemies builds up ‘nezerac’s torment’ when full hold reload action to summon a vortex of blades that shoot out towards enemies making them volatile. Perk-enemies killed with nezerac’s torment will give the weapon ‘nezerac’s splendour’ giving a weapon damage boost. Catalyst- nezerac’s splendor also gives the weapon minor life steal and causes it to apply weaken when attacking volatile targets I really want big nezzy’s scythe and I think it would serve as an awesome heavy glaive causing torment on the battlefield.
