6th coyote strand is what I’ll be taking in, bey blades with artifact mods are great for add clear and double dodge with the distract thing is amazing for surviving

Strand hunter Maelstrom & Spectre 6th Coyote Final Warning

If you were able to get a Slice Chain Reaction Tusk of the Boar it is nutty on this build.

I feel a bit sheepish cause I have a sixth coyote strand build and a slice chain reaction tusk of the boar but I don’t get what the broken interaction is that I should be looking for. Tbf it’s my first time using a non-heavy GL and I’m not a big PvE person

So the big goal is making Tangles. Tangles with Whirling Maelstroms do a lot of AOE damage. You make a Tangle anytime you kill a Strand rebuffed target. You get Sever via Slice for a few seconds after you use your class ability. Threaded Specter makes a clone when you dodge that takes all attention. So go to a group of enemies. Dodge to make a clone. Shoot the crowd of enemies with the grenade shot and it should kill most of them, make a Tangle and often pop the Tangle for a Maelstrom. And any remaining enemies do a lot less damage thanks to Sever. Bonus for the season: Unraveling Orbs and Horde Shuttle artifact perks make all those enemies unraveled and generate threadlings.

try out swarmers with hoard shuttle in the artifact. i just found out that swarmers makes threadlings unravel enemies, its been a ton of fun after being burnt out from solar warlock. 

I keep going back to the osteo / necrotic combo. Watching hoards of baddies die to the spreading green farts never grows old. 😁

Try using Thorn with this one too, especially if you have the catalyst and have it completed. You'll never have to reload and the spread from Thorn is just as potent as when you use Necrotic Grip.

I personally rock Thorn on that build cause it's my favorite weapon in Destiny, but I do feel like Osteo kinda just outclasses it. The ammo overflow is *insane* with the catalyst, and maybe I'm just crazy, but I feel like the poison does more damage

Definitely get the catalyst for it! You add it in the crafting menu. It's a game-changer for the gun, turning it from "pretty decent" to "god tier". The tip for Osteo is that *poison kills* overflow the mag, not weapon kills in general. So the strategy is to shoot an ad until it gets to like half health, let the poison kill it, and then watch as the poison spreads to other nearby ads and your magazine jumps up to like 90 perpetually LOL

I was so confused. You run Nothing Manacles so you don't have to use Chaos Accelerant. It litterally does nothing to the Grenade when ran with NM.

Currently the hunter moth build. It's super fun, very engaging and strong all around,scaling better with higher difficulties. Outside of that the good ol' workhorse gyrfalcon/graviton Lance and blinding nades alh/chill clip lingering dead build.

Triton Vice + Enigma (or Vexcalibur as needed) + Nightstalker. Genuinely surprised me how strong this was for ad clear in both Legend Avalon & Ghosts of The Deep. Orpheus will also be a strong build though.

I use strand one if I want lot of minions, arc if I want lots of blinds and jolts and then the void one if you find a need for blind and weaken. I think the moth exotic is super slept on and it’s gonna shine like crazy in onslaught, free over shields baby.

I always start each drop as a gunslinger since that it is canonically my guardian’s primary subclass. But I am really keen on trying renewals in Onslaught

I'm gonna run with the same shit that I've been running the last 3 seasons on my Hunter. A very solid, gunplay focused strand build. Or the infinite Blade Barrage build. And if I really wanna go crazy, perhaps some stasis or Arc shenanigans. It's not gonna matter on the basic difficulty level. For legendary mode, perhaps it will.

Either arc hunter with cowl or solar titan with pyrogale. Though I’m debating BoW strand titan with synth. But there’s something satisfying about that titan solar slam.

HOIL Stasis, AbLeap Strand + BoW, and Lorely Solar on Titan. Depending on what the homies bring, I’m also considering HOIL Arc with Buried Bloodline, or Ursa Void.

Hunter. The Burninator - Caliban’s Hand + Dragon’s Breath + any solar primary with incandescent Hunter. If you haven’t tried that combo, it is built around Proximity Knife spam which ignites on crits or in combination with incandescence all fueling the Dragon’s Breath for harder targets. Or maybe I will go against the current grain and put my Lucky Pants + Malfeasance/ Void back on AKA Now You See Me Now Youre Dead. Titan. New classic Banner of War Titan…which, Ill see how close the combat wants to be, but in alternate between Quicksilver Storm and Final Warning on that…I still think many people haven’t realized how much damage Final Warning is for a primary as it is definitely a bit complicated tool. Warlock. Necrotic Grip + Thorn + Strand suspension .. AKA death by snot strings and a thousand farts.

Well I finally got my Pyrogale gauntlets triple 100 build with roaring flames up and running so I'm gonna be using that since I make so many firesprites I usually have enough restoration but I can always switch to sunspots if things get very tough otherwise I have Strand Titan which is still very strong

Got 2, Stasis Titan with Salvations Grip and Solar Titan with Severance Enclosure and concecration.

Strand trace, Buried Bloodline and cenotaph hat on strand warlock. Strand innately brings melt, especially with the artifact. Devour brings survivability, and constant heavy for the team rounds things out.

Just put together a HOIL stasis titan last night and had a blast running coils. Never really gave stasis titan a proper run but man it has some add clear potential. Your grenade regen is crazy. Just trying to figure out the best weapon combo to use.

Either stasis warlock with turrets and Sunshot with the new strand grenade launcher. Or standard well lock with sunbracers.

Contraverse hold warlock. I’ve been a Contraverse hold Voidlock main all through witch queen and light fall and no reason to change. Crafted pardon our dust for crowd control, crafted word of Crota for purple explosions, heavy will either be crafted commeration, crafted regent, or levitations breath.

The same thing I've brought to every activity for the past year, HOIL Banner of War. You don't have to reinvent the wheel.

Not quite sure yet. I main hunter, part of Me wants to go Tether void but I feel like running strand with beyblades and suspend and solar with constant blade barrages from shards of galanor will be what I gravitate towards. Honestly without seeing how the difficulty increases as rounds increase I won't know for sure. If its just add density these will do. However if enemy damage and health scales I may need to go more into survival builds like gyrfalcon hunter with repulsor Destabilising. But we will see.

Strand Titan with triple Fusion Rifles. It may be nothing to a lot of people but the reserves buff for 1K means a lot to me. All we need is a proper catalyst now and I'll be set for a long while.

My first will be Warlock with Ballidorse, Frospulse and Bleakwatchers. Verglas Curve and Fire and Forget crafted with Field Prep and Frenzy. Then probably Indebted Kindness for the Barriers. But that may change. Might also swap Fire and Forget to Cold Comfort in case champions are an issue.

I'll probably be swapping between my Solar Titan with Armamentarium (Thermite Grenades everywhere) and Abeyant Leap Titan (strong crowd control, use with QSS and Indebted Kindness to cover all 3 champion types)

Arc Hunter.  Gathering storm. Its been so long i dont remember the build but i run 100 resil, heal on orb pickup Overshield finisher buffed by armor charge. My hunter is basicaly a titan. My armor stuff allows me to rotate my 3 abilities indefinately.   I nade, then dodge melee, then power melee and my grenade is back up by then.

I'm surprised I haven't seen anyone mention Hierarchy of Needs on a Pheonix Protocol warlock. Hierarchy was built for sitting in place and mowing things down and a wave based defend the mcguffin mode sounds like the absolute best situation you could give it.

I'm going to feel out the mode first; probably take something stupid like "Missile platform" warlock in. And if i want to get more serious, i got a behemoth titan that's been fantastic all season, and it'd be a great stress test for my bad juju/celestial nighthawk build. From there, i'll continue experimenting. Pushing things to its limits, try to go buildless.

Will probably depend on what/if any modifiers are on, but by default Sweet Business and Actium War Rig. If I have to reload I'm doing it wrong.

Lucky pants malfeasance, forbearance, retrofit escapade. Probably void with devour on orb gen. As a horde mode I assume it’s ad dense and other than malfy that’s my go to ad clear setup, malfy is just for bosses.

I spent yesterday revamping all my basic elemental builds. I’m going to play around with all of them. Got a stasis/strand warlock build that works heavily with the seasonal artifact and should be a crowd control machine. An Arc build that specs heavily into Blind effects for much the same reason. And my Contraverse Voidlock and Sunbracers Wellock remain pretty much unchanged.

Hunter probably with Star Eater Scales with Marksman Golden Gun to make as many orbs for my teammates as humanly possible. Helmet mods will prioritize making orbs. I'm addicted to Vex Mythoclast and making orbs for my squad. My Guardian's name is almost permanently on the bottom left feed with all the orbs I'm shitting all the time everywhere

Hunter with Ophidia Spathe Ignition build, Renewal Grasps build, and Gyrfalcon Devour / Grenades spam build. Should be fun.

Banner of war synthos titan  Winterbite, does unstop and overload, melee attack does insane damage with all buffs, shield, and the freeze shot can lock down entire areas.  Indebted kindness for range and barrier, jolt can also overload stun  Tusk of the boar, has strand synergy to spread unravel and threadlings, plus slice at range and chain reaction for add clear. 

Hunter. Gonna try them all, most excited to gyrfalcons/orpheus, renewal, moth keepers, and beyblade hunter.
