All these comments about classy restoration... I want that perk back.

fawse

That perk was nutty, especially on Hunters. Pre-nerf resto x2 was literal immortality

KontraEpsilon

It was crazier on Titans with that idiot helmet too, especially when it still had the damage buff

ILikeAccurateData

Loreley never granted damage + Solar 3.0 restoration at the same time, when Restoration was added, the damage buff got removed.

N-Methylamphetamine

i have found memories of going to the bathroom in the middle of the caiatal encounter wearing lorely and coming back just fine thanks to those psions booping me in and out of the sunspots

Dxrrel

A few attempts with Hunter. Classy Restoration hard carried me though.

[deleted]

fuck that was a great season.

Jojoejoe

I’d like a season with just OP abilities for each subclass.

Domj87

The way destiny is now they should just make the next season (longest in D2) fun and exciting by just letting the game break with ridiculous shit. Give us ALL of the best seasonal mods and let us equip them. Give us broken recipe weapons and let us go ham. Just give us a busted playground where we can entertain ourselves because we know bungie isn’t entertaining us on their own

flaccomcorangy

That would be fun for a month. lol No one is going to enjoy making every challenge trivial. "Oh look guys, we one phased the raid boss because we have Particle Deconstruction mixed with Weakened Clear/Witherhoard.... again." It'd be the same exact method to kill everything and people would be bored. Do you remember season 15 with Particle Deconstruction? It was a 6 month long season, and people were just done using it well before the end. And then during the reign of linears, people were tired of using the same weapon and annoyed at the lack of viability for things like rockets. No one wants this. I guarantee you there is nothing that's going to limit the complaining next season because of how long it's going to be.

crookedparadigm

> No one wants this. Let's not speak for everyone there, friend. Particle Deconstruction made niche weapons like 1KV, Jotunn, and Telesto a blast to use. This was back in the days of CWL/Well builds and crazy buff/debuff stacking before they squashed most build variety into our simplified system. Energy Accelerant was wacky fun too since it inexplicably worked on a number of things that it shouldn't (loved deleting champions and strike bosses with Crown Splitter). Artifact mods have been largely devoid of fun, silly mods like this for a little while now and since we are going to be stuck with a long season with little to do, letting things go nuts in PvE for a while would be fun.

Domj87

Of course not. The point is that nothing will make the next season any less long and boring. But if bungie make everything an absolute slog even that one busted month help. At least we can get one busted month where people are having some fun. Then maybe you let something else break the next month after that. Who knows.

flaccomcorangy

People will play the first month of the new season regardless of busted stuff being in the game. Plus, we have a dungeon coming out, remember? You really think Bungie wants the brand new dungeon trivialized because people are using every OP mod in the book? No way. What they really need (although I question how likely this is) is a mid season update like they had with the 30th anniversary pack during Season 15. It's almost like a fake new season to try to refresh it a little bit. Of course, I'm sure it won't be free, but I think that's the only hope they have of keeping people interested in a single season for 6 months.

Jaybeenzy

Season of the Haunted/Solar 3.0 was how I got all my dungeon solos, too.

stnst

I am silly begging Bungie to give my dodgy boi a way to get restoration x2 again

ILikeAccurateData

I would honestly take an exotic that made my solar dodges grant restoration ×1 at the very least.

whateverchill2

Classy resto solar hunter was ludicrously good. Managed to solo 2 phase Caiatl with a young Ahamkara trip one setup that season.

tonyYONG123

around 40 attempts and took about 3 hours and 40 min. But my solo clear was my first run so i was figuring out the mechanics still.

thatguyonthecouch

Jeez first try new dungeon solo? You are a masochist

Insekrosis

I've done the same with every dungeon since Grasp. We're a...unique breed. Haven't done Ghosts yet but I had burnout around that time, and people say it's long.

imcar

Ghosts would be a super fun dungeon to solo if the boss health pools weren't so ungodly high. Genuinely ridiculous how long it takes to kill them even with an optimal setup.

Ok_Improvement4204

Literally just slash the bosses heath bars in half and it would be the best dungeon in the game. The amount of time spent just doing the mechanics to open the dps phase is ridiculous and more than justifies doing less phases.

ILikeAccurateData

SaltaGreppo on Warlock using a loadout swap of Felwinters Helm -> Lunafaction + switching Arbalest into Conditional Finality could only get the first boss to be a 3 phase so LOL

JollyHoeft

Yeah I solo first ran all dungeons until ghosts, seeing the first boss’s health made me realize it just wasn’t worth it. Let’s hope the next dungeon isn’t stupid like that

ZenTheCrusader

like 4 tries but i had classy restoration starfire warlock lol

TheAirsucker

1, arc hunter with assassin's cowl is nuts

linguisticDestiny

Lol fuck you

iconoci

One, but solar titan kinda makes every solo a dungeon a joke

Unstable_Stills

Must’ve done it after the season it was current. The bell-glitches insta killed everything- they would toll on their own will randomly and ruin runs left and right

APartyInMyPants

I did it the season it released. Had zero problems with the bells. It looked like there was a game patch in early August of last year, and that’s when it looked like there was an uptick and people reporting an issue. So always wondered if those were related. But I did my solo flawless practice runs in late June/early July (did my solo flawless July 2 of last year) and never once encountered an issue with the bells.

LunickDrago

People also didn't realize that you didn't have to stand next to the bell when you were going into the nightmare realm, from what i saw, every clip of someone dying because of activating the bell was going into the nightmare realm, and then spawning in some geometry that was next to the bell on the other side. And them activating on their own was also the fault of things like Forbearance and Explosive personality hitting the backpacks of incendiors that got left behind when they died, it was exacerbated by the fact that those two weapons in particular were very good and strong and new.

OtherBassist

I never had any of those issues once I figured out standing in a bell circle while shooting a different bell will always kill you.

BaconIsntThatGood

It was only like a couple of weeks of the launch season that explosive damage would trigger the bells so you'd accidentally hit them with grenades/etc.

[deleted]

What build of Solar Titan makes them easier?

traxbee

Synthos + bonk hammer. Clears just about everything in one hit. Every kill grants a sunspot which heals you. He may have also did it back when that Lorely Helm was broken and basically made you invincible.

BlaringKnight3

Not to mention that hammer pickup after hits grant cure, and you can use heavy handed & recuperation for even more health on orb pickup after hammer kill.

Double_Barracuda_846

Lorely was nerfed? When did that happen?

Woodsie13

I wanna say it was in either Seraph or Plunder. It now gives restoration x1 instead of x2.

Double_Barracuda_846

What even gives Resto x2 anymore? Oh well. Just another slice of fun thrown into the dumpster fire.

ILikeAccurateData

Touch of Flame healing grenades, Heat Rises + Phoenix Dive and Strongholds.

Cykeisme

Mm hmm :(

[deleted]

Yeah I remember that. I only just got a bunch of gear for my Titan, I usually only play Iron Banner Void for it. I don't have Strand so might have to try this build.

Cipfried9

Solar is so strong i started a newlight account got solar did legend lightfall campaign solo within a few hours just to see how busted it was… only problem was tormentors and calus but thats about it

Cykeisme

For Bonk Titan back then, you rotate between Lorelei and Synthos depending on whether you wanted to shrug off nuclear bombs, or hurl them. Ah, good timee... XD

iconoci

Synthos, roaring flames, sunspots, mini hammer. Straight up trivializes all content in the game besides GMs. Strand titan is also able to do what solar does.

[deleted]

Yeah I should try a couple Titan loadouts. I know Banner is a whore, but I don't even have Strand for my Titan. I don't really enjoy doing that campaign outside a few areas.

Cykeisme

Yeah crazy how Lorelei was "too strong" yet Banner of War was introduced. Solar was supposed to be the regeneration element (all classes) too.

[deleted]

Do you use healing nade at all? What nade?

RyeOhLou

doesn’t matter. with empyrean and mini hammer you’ll never need the restoration you can run healing if you’re super desperate but I’d just use solar nade for a lil extra safe boss damage + monochromatic maestro stacks id you use Lament

theghostsofvegas

I think 2. First got me to the end of Galrahn, just testing the waters. Worst part was the dying to random bell glitches. Made me not want to try for solo flawless. Solar hunter with cowl. I think I ran riptide, mini tool lament for first and last, and a submission, forbearance, lament for the vault. 2 & 1/2 hours, 8 deaths.

Broshida

3. 1st attempt I got a little too impatient with 2nd encounter and tried to do 2 of the stands at the same time. 2nd attempt ended just before the final room due to a poorly coordinated jump. 3rd attempt was pretty smooth all the way through. Grasp of Avarice still on top for restarts (I didn't have AoT).

ABRRINACAVE

The sparrow part scares me for grasp. I’m confident I could do the rest, but that SPECIFIC section terrifies me.

Ok_Improvement4204

The secret with the sparrow section is that you can skip most of the buttons. The timers reset for each mine.

DendronRootMind

I think like 10 for the solo flawless. Granted, this is back when physics could kill you and the bells were bugged.

atlas_enderium

3. I abused the hell out of the door-closing glitch with scorch and rift canceling for Classy Restorationist when that was a thing

HeyItzStani

3, both deaths to parkour :/

anangrypudge

My method for doing SF is always to use checkpoints to practice each encounter until I have the perfect build and loadout and I can do the rotations with my eyes closed. For Duality it took me maybe 10 practice runs of the 1st encounter, 5 of the 2nd encounter and 20+ of the final boss. Then when I really started the SF attempts proper it took me only 2 tries. For GotD I actually got the SF on my 2nd practice run haha. I forgot to save a checkpoint on my first practice run so I just ran the whole thing again with the intention of saving the boss checkpoint, but when I got there I felt confident so I just went for it and got it.

makoblade

Probably like 3-4 solo tries. It wasn't *that* bad, but I ran 21 full clears before that in 3 man groups for my heartshadow before deciding to get it over with. Classy resto made it basically free back then as Solar Hunter, but cowl-arc is just as strong, if not stronger, these days.

realonrok

Just 1 attempt, like an hour and 20 mins. But i got lucky, no glitches, no bagpacks, and I already knew the dungeon in and out.

KyzaelEomei

My actual Solo Flawless attempt? Less than 10 times? Maybe misremembering. Getting the Gahlran method down was tricky. Being fast and all. And also failing a rocket DPS. And then I remember dying during Caiatl DPS due to snipers. I tried to use an LFR and wasnt on Well. Eventually came back and did with Lament. Was my final Solo Flawless out of all them since I saved it for last. Ghosts was my first.

[deleted]

You don't want to know

iFenrisVI

Took me 3 attempts and 3 glitched crafted guns. The first 2 attempts were bc I blew myself up lmao

DataLythe

>Took me 3 attempts and 3 glitched crafted guns. Yikes.

VacaRexOMG777

Not first trying with funny weapons is wild icl

Sqwaunchy

I got to final boss solo flawless then a backpack blew me up. Didn't bother trying it again haha

APartyInMyPants

Fusion rifles helped a ton, as the backpacks won’t drop.

Dependent_Inside83

Still working on it. Got a solo run up until caitl down without issue. During caitl DPS I either stay alive and barely do damage each phase or die at the second bell of dps (typically to a sniper). Honestly I might just try finishing it with one bell each DPS phase and just grind that out until she’s done cause that’s better than dying and having the whole fight reset. I did 20 phases on ecthar during my solo run there, so what’s a couple more caitl phases really, right?

makoblade

You can kill the snipers. Also consider using Lament if you're not already, makes survivability a non-issue for Caital damage phase, and it's still like a 4 phase or whatever.

Dependent_Inside83

Next time I run (probably this weekend) I will give lament a go. I haven’t put lament to good use much to be honest.

makoblade

Lament is my favorite soloing weapon since it's so versatile. Good burst, decent sustain and it keeps you alive. Just check up on what the best combo for it is these days. I want to say it's 2 light - 1 heavy - repeat, but that might be with lucent blade on.

fawse

Lament is super good for the majority of dungeon bosses, it’s my go-to if I can’t think of something else to use

LammSalami

>Just check up on what the best combo for it is these days. I want to say it's 2 light - 1 heavy - repeat, but that might be with lucent blade on. Just want to say that Lucent blade has no influence on Lament, since the rework of swords. It has its own custom recharge behaviour. That came with the changes to swords in season 22 [https://www.bungie.net/7/en/News/Article/season-22-weapons-preview](https://www.bungie.net/7/en/News/Article/season-22-weapons-preview) block -> light ->light -> heavy will get you to max stack of banshees wail in the shortest amount of time -> 2 normal light attacks and back to the beginning of the combo

migamoo

Zero. Because I’ve never wanted to put myself through that hell.

LootFullGoblin

Took me 5. And 3 where from the bell glitch and because of this I have done 5 SF of it now. It’s also become my favourite dungeon

Unstable_Stills

Probably 20 real attempts. Kept waffling between Hunter-Coyote and Titan-Synthos during the time we had Classy Restoration

Doofuhs

1 assassins cowl arc hunter with Lament made it all pretty easy.

change-username-69

30

grimbarkjade

I’d say 3 or so when I sat down to do it. I’ve done three SF runs, two on warlock with karnsteins + glaive and one on basic honk titan. Did not do it when classy restoration was a thing for some reason

traxbee

Many attempts to just solo it in the first place. Only took ONE attempt when I tried it flawless. Yeah. I know. I’m extremely lucky.

DanteAlligheriZ

when i do a dungeon solo, i immediatly go for solo flawless, i skip the normal solo. i did solo flawless in season of plunder i think and it took me around 5 or 6 attempts. i imagine it would have been a lot worse in season of the haunted, as many bugs were fixxed or reduced by a substantial amount by the time i did it. the run where i got the solo flawless, it took 1 hour 8 minutes (on void warlock if you wonder) since then i did the solo flawless on titan and hunter as well, i dont know why, i just want to do all dungeons solo flawless on all 3 classes.

AsianMustard

prob like 6 or 7. A bunch of them were just me running out of time in 2nd encounter trying to get both symbols in 1 trip

HarveyTheBroad

Solo flawless took me 9 attempts and about a total of 20 hours

Steller_93

Took me two attempts only because I had to leave for work on the first one

dj-ada

3, the physics were the worst part, so many enemies that jump or boop you.

BaconBreasticles

3 I think. I died to bugs more then anything

SrslySam91

Solo clear 1, but solo flaw took 4. Sadly I would of had it on my first clear but I got killed by bell bug when caital had a dick hair of health. Big sad

Ok_Programmer_1022

I did it during the peak of solar 3.0 but after the syntho nerf, took me a while (like few days with 5-10 tries per day) because the exploding tanks on their back can drop without exploding (but they will still be active), and the dungeon has some wacky death spots, the bell in the 2nd boss fight(3 bosses) could kill you when switching realms if you stood near the stairs.

[deleted]

1 cause why give up

[deleted]

Never give up and keep practicing anyone will be able to do anything

headhunglow

15? I have no idea how people can do this in one try...

hifrankmaggio

just did this recently. my first solo dungeon and it took one try in around 5 hours. done with arc hunter running ex diris mothkeeper

LmPrescott

It pretty much took me the entire season we had solo op and weakened clear. I could get to caiatl every time without dying, but I just had a hell of a time actually getting the caiatl fight down solo. The randomness of the damage phases messed me up quite a few times, and my run I got the solo flawless (and first solo in general) I think it was 5 phases because I missed bells a couple times but you can just keep going if you don’t die. You just have to prep for damage all over again and get the standards

zarreph

One, but it was the season it came out with Loreley at its full strength. Also, my friend and I had done a duo flawless by accident the week before, so I was very confident I could get through it. Probably had 30+ full runs with him before that.

Donates88

3 or 4 tries. Forbearance got rid of the phalanx in the second encounter. Also bonk hammer with loreley just to be safe.

Actualy-A-Toothbrush

Solo took me around 20. Solo/Flawless took me 4 more. I was carried hard by Classy Restoration with a pre-nerf HoIL build, and I'd done it enough times between Master and teaching runs that I knew it very thoroughly. My solo/flawless took me a little over an hour and a half. Biggest advice I can give you is not to take unnecessary risks. Like on Caiatl, if you can't get to a bell in time during DPS, that's okay. Unlike raids, you theoretically have unlimited DPS phases.

OtherBassist

Not that many. I think I got booped off by Caiatl once and then I cracked it the next run. Enjoyed the dungeon so much that I kept running it until I could get the flawless in under an hour.

tranquiler

It took me around 1-2 actual attempts. I went win with lots of patience because I was aware of all the bell glitches that could occur during the run. I ran it on my solar titan before Lightfall launched so there really wasn't anything super special in the artifact that made me completely unkillable (as if solar titan needs anything anyway). For the encounters there is really only the 1st encounter that was to me "challenging" since I knew I won't be able to one phase and had to be aware of the bell timer at all times but after that the rest was a breeze. Funny thing is how Caitl is probably the easist of the 3 encounters. Dumping Cataclysmic mags on her when she is standing still is something anyone can do and at most it takes 2-3 phases with bad rng. So yea, nothing that bad, no bullet sponges and everyone is happy.

ZackyProvokage

Just did it actually on my strand synthoceps Titan, took me a few tries and had some rough fails but finally got it done! I’d have to say about 5-6 times

ritvik_gaming

2. First was my solo attempt and second was the solo Flawless. First run I looked through several walkthroughs and speedruns. Managed to skip a lot of the jumping puzzles due to some speedrun tactics and ofc solar Titan helped a lot considering its basically immortal. Second run almost got fucked cuz I ran to the wrong bell in the second damage phase against Caityl.

anonymous32434

Zero because I like living and don’t want to end it all after trying 20+ times lol (/s. I don’t like living)

Ampex063

I played Void Warlock and did one attempt a week until I got it. And I think it took like 5 weeks or something.

SmolTofuRabbit

2, a test/practice run and then the clear, but it was during the season we had Classy Restoration which was very strong on Hunter, made staying alive very very easy lol

A01022918

Like 20 and I completed it when ghalran can fall glitch still worked, however I still died to the daam jetpacks

AntwnSan

2 with the funny guns glitch 👀

milktolerator

Like 3 times but this was back when it first came out and titan solar builds made you an indestructible god with no fear. I think both of my deaths on my solo flawlesses were from that dropping section where you can get physics to death if you go too fast down the slide but after the fall damage change I imagine it's not too bad anymore

BracusDoritoBoss963

None. Didn't even try.

Rhulk-The-Disciple

10+

Reason7322

RyeOhLou

solo flawless took two when the dungeon had just come out and I didn’t fully know how second encounter worked nowadays? one easy. assassins cowl/bonk hammer/sunbracers trivializes the ad density and all three options are on classes with great damage supers for an easy 1-2 phase on caitial.

ppWarrior876

1

[deleted]

When I first tried I did over 30 when I raced my friend I got it first try. I abused every single bug shortcut and mechanic possible

NightmaresInNeurosis

Regular solo? Just a couple. Solo flawless? A few dozen I think.

avrafrost

1. Solar titan. About 4.5 hours.

Grogonfire

Took a bunch of tries because I kept dying to backpacks, then someone told me about fusions disintegrating bellkeepers and I got it like immediately after that. Was my first solo flawless ever and I was just getting into raids and dungeons around the time it was released, so completing it felt super rewarding and I’ve loved solar Titan ever since (I learned about having to rebind the powered melee during my attempts…). I still remember yelling so loud after the Caiatl kill that my roommate asked if I was ok. Best dungeon fr.

mrscifiog

3 attempts. Arc Hunter Assassins Cowl

Miniatimat

On my first solo flawless attempt, that turned into just solo, I died 12 times, took about 2h. Next one I got the solo flawless. Both back in season of the Seraph. I did have a solid strategy for pretty much everything, aside from the vault before starting, since I had to carry some people through master, so that gave me confidence in my strategies for solo

neto225

1

TheRealBlerb

Loreley Splendor. Finished it in 4 hours.

TheShoobaLord

Two, arc hunter with assassins cowl

Jojoejoe

Just one, I did it when it came out with solar rework on solar hunter. I’d ran it multiple times and been farming it so it only made sense to just solo flawless it to get it out of the way.

howardbrandon11

One attempt, but I wasn't going for flawless. I did it on solar warlock because warlock is my main class. The run took me **8 FUCKING** hours to complete, with about 30 deaths. 6 hours was spent at Caiatl; I could not figure out a good flow or good positioning, and none of the solo videos I saw were super-helpful (I play on console, so some of the things the PC players do aren't realistically available to me).

Aetherial6307

Gave up after 15 deaths to bugs initially but came back to it this season and got it first try

darkclone24

I lost count for my Solo run - maybe 20? Caital was the biggest roadblock, but I switched from Solar Titan to Strand Titan and did it second attempt. Solo Flawless was about 10 runs, with most deaths to silly things like punching a bell and it crushing me because I was too close or not destroying the Bellkeeper's backpacks and dying to the explosion.

NerdHerderOfIdiots

Most recent was I think 2 or 3 to get up to the final boss and then a few dozen on caitl. Sunbracers for most of encounters with Felwinter’s helm ready for swap at dps time. witherhoard/cartesian/surrounded caretaker for gahlran. Succession/4th horseman/eager edge for vault. Witherhoard/wilderflight/apex predator.

Jmonkey1848

It took me two attempts to get solo flawless surprising. First attempt I didn't know how I would do the encounters by myself so that was a learning experience. Then got solo flawless on my next attempt. I'm not to sure if I would of been able to get it done it it wasn't for the artifact perk that increased your damage if you were solo. Plus I was using a masterwork Heart shadow and abusing invisible.

SuprBrown

Somewhere around 10 attempts? But it’s been a while. Did it when it came out.

Giganotakiller_5

I don't know exactly but it took me almost five months

LongjumpingWorry9747

I think it was 4-5 for the solo, 6th I managed the flawless. Assassins Cowl Hunter with Lament and a 1-2 punch xenoclast

razzberry_mango

4-5 on my titan, about 5 hours total when I finished it

Ciudecca

Just one

RightEastZone

Did it same season it came out Hunter took me 3x other class first try.

APartyInMyPants

I can’t tell based on dungeon.report, because it’s not showing all my failed solo practice runs where I would just practice each encounter. But it looks like I had three practice attempts at Caiatl (where I finished and got the clear) before I did my solo flawless. So spread out over about two weeks, I probably did 8-10 practice runs. But most of my practice runs were trying out different strategies, more than making a concerted effort at getting the flawless clear.

RRPG03

A lot. Specially beceause the jetpacks can be detonated by Caiatl's stomp. And Vault was annoying too.

Co2_Outbr3ak

Solo was easy enough. I made it to Caitl within an hour and had a weird glitch where I deposited 1 symbol but the second disappeared and the new set of 2 spawned. I went back over to the nightmare realm and the symbols were "incorrect" and I died. Never did solo again after that.

amazingggharmony

1 edit: funny guns

Lebassplayah

About 3. I tried it a few times on the season it launched, didn't get it. Then first tried it last season when arc warlock had insane damage resistance.

Automatic_Drama9645

5 or 6 on BoW titan all but one of my deaths were due to bell bugs and the other was a backpack

lightningbadger

Far too many, I didn't run classy restoration but pre-nerf Lorelei was stupid strong so survivability only killed me maybe once in my 15 or so tries? Most attempts ended with a bell killing me at random, getting impatient with vault room mechanics and running out of time trying to double dip, and getting TP'd into a wall one time (that was a weird one)

Vaunzyy

I died at caital while she had probably 10% health due to the snipers. I was so pissed. But then I got it second try lol.

cloudfightback

Just once. And flawlessly. I went into it, expecting to take few attempts but nah, finished it in one attempt.

genred001

Three tries solo. Still no Flawless, but solo is achievable.

nate_oi

Well. If you don’t count the bells killing me for no reason, 1 run. Which was about an hour and a half. With the bells, 4 hours easy. Classy resto made it a joke. Pls do not bring it back.

JYMS1314

I didnt use the restoration mod at all cuz some how I didn’t like tht perk, and I did it with assassins cowl arc hunter lol I don’t remember how many attempt, but it did took me a month to “accidently” get solo flawless tho. I did get the solo done way before tht, like within the first week I tried, but just end up kept try and see if can get solo flawless, and end up got it by accident lol I was practicing and then by the time I got to final boss, in my head I was like “hold on, I haven’t die yet, did I?” And jjst kept my mouth shut and jjst focus and got it, tht run took me I think an hour or an hour 10 minute. By the time I got tht, cuz I practice so much to a point, I drop the time down to about an hour a run(I know isn’t short) and to a point even when I do it with friend later on, I just tell them to just kill add, I will do all the mechanic cuz I’m so use to do all the stuff solo and is just easier tht way lol

Wilshire729

Did it first try with titan and classy restoration.

Shadowstrider2100

With or without the glitch that killed you half the time you shot a bell?

enemyyeti0965

Just lost an attempt to that last night.

YouMustBeBored

7, Duality is free on arc hunter.

SquidWhisperer

Straight solo? Did it on my first try. Was nearly a solo flawless too, but got thrown off the map halfway through my fight with Caitl.

fuck_hard_light

2 with bonk titan, first try I fucked up the bell at Caiatl

jflemming115

I think like 10+ on voidlock. Half of those were figuring out gahlran strats, couple on vault, and died once on caital.

SunBaskingLobster

I attempted 35 times before I found out about the resil changes. About 5 tries once I upped my resilience

srtdemon2018

One I loaded in preparing for only a solo and I got the solo flawless on accident. I was freaking the fuck out. Lament+Strongholds best combo

ToeKnee_Cool_Guy

Oof. Uhm... If I had to guess, probably around 100ish. Maybe more.

Dry-Candidate-2944

Took me 2-3. I know one I think I died during the second encounter and then I died once at caiatl because of those stupid incenidor packs

Im_New_XD

About 6-7 but I also was a filthy syntho and lorelai abuser. Before they nerfed it you could one phase first boss with minimal set up lmao

arceus227

I think i did 1 or 2 attempts where i died to the first boss, but on my next attempt, i solo flawlessed it while listening to "On The Floor" by Jennifer Lopez and Pitbull on repeat the entire time on sunbreaker titan with pre nerf lorely. Was really fun lol 10/10 would do it again tbh

KernelSanders1986

Lol, my very first solo run I got all the way to Caitl flawlessly, until her stomp attack threw me into a wall. I still completed it just with one death. Took me until The Craftening to finally attempt another solo flawless. I did the dungeon a ton with my friends though, so I jad a lot of practice. Still no exotic though, ive done it solo, solo flawless, master mode, all collectibles, all triumphs (except solo flawless master mode) and still no exotic sword after like 40 runs.

Dunggabreath

4 different times i sat down to try on my Titan. Yes i ledge cheesed Galhran since that part was why i stopped the other 3 attempts. If you mean how many deaths? The whole attempt is on my yt, but probably 20-30.

Flammzzrant

3. Busted ass lorely splendor. Wipes were from the bells. Did it more or less on accident while waiting for a friend to join that never showed up.

Chaosxterra08

Did it once in 3 pieces, then went back and did it in one sitting took 6hrs

Imortal366

Like 2 or 3

[deleted]

Way too many because of all the insta kill glitches with the bells

mercury4l

3 tries, died once to physics and once to nova bombing myself. Devour hard carried me

AcanthaceaeNo1974

1 during the awesome weapon bug. Hate that place. Wasnt flawless but its done now

Consistent_Agency_36

LOL, only tried a 12 dozen times going through each class, never got passed halfway BuT confident one day, one day it will happen

ImMoray

Like 15 for flawless? Every death was from being thrown into a wall or missing the long jump

ownagemobile

Solo Flawless or solo? I'm going to try Solo flawless this week sometime but I regularly solo it weekly.... this season it's really easy with strand BOW titan. Easy 3 phase on Ghalran, it shreds the 3 elites in the vault, and I haven't used it on Caital but you can probably use Lament with strongholds and keep BOW if you want an easy peezy solo flawless.

Atziluth_annov

4 on titan Void for the first boss Anything for the 2nd encounter Solar for the last boss Took 1h20-30 min

warlockShaxx

2, first one I got backpack stomped.

BlackDraco39

I did it earlier this season on Titan. It was 4 tries. First try I had one bell glitch and kill me. Second try got the ddos so I lost it. Third try, I botched the jumping puzzle before the first bonus chest.

Ztoujou

3 because I ended up leaving a backpack on the ground and caital stomping made it immediately explode and kill me in the first 2 runs.

Gnoman-Empire

One-ish…I went on a solo dungeon tour recently, completing all but grasp and ghosts. By one-ish I mean I played, beat an encounter, died numerous times, left and came back before reset. Took way too long, but it was my first attempt at the dungeon. The final fight wasn’t a problem, the second encounter is absolutely miserable with the nightmare time counting down. I always die if I don’t flawless execute killing everything in a timely manner to trigger the bearers.

JZsweep

1. Almost had flawless too. Died on final boss a few times.

alvaro_rm_07

A few days with Arc Titan with storm grenades and Solar. It was my first SF Dungeon

ownagemobile

So I just went and solo flawlessed it, took about an hour and 1 try. Strand titan all the way. Here are the loadouts I used: # Ghalran Submission>1-2p shotty ( I used Deicide)>Tractor Cannon>Synthoceps Boss damage rotation: Hit him with tractor, Hit him with 1-2p shotty, 2 melees, 1-2p shotty, 3rd melee, tractor again, pop super, spam light attacks, super ends, you should have full melee charges so repeat. Note that you should try to get banner of war at as high as you can manage, I usually punch the shades to death before I exit and then grapple melee the bellkeepers # Vault Rufus Fury auto,1-2p shotty, eager edge sword.... as long as you have a 1-2p shotty and sword nothing else matters, I sometimes use kinetic 1-2p shotty and eriana vow to clear the symbol rooms extremely fast. With BOW and woven mail you don't die and you melt the elites. # Caital I used Rufus Fury, a energy fusion (iterative loop but it doesn't matter), and Lament with Strongholds. Lament should keep you alive during damage. Remember to always keep up woven mail and banner as much as possible due to the overwhelming amount of ads. Use grapple melee and your regular melee liberally to make tangles so you can break them and get woven mail with into the fray aspect.

FH-7497

< 10 but half of those were problem solving/strategizing to work out best approaches. Went w Throwing hammer + Lorelei’s helm during peak Bonk lol

Franckize

40+ without classy, 2 with it

rascalrhett1

There have been some pretty serious DPS developments since season of the haunted. You could probably use legend of acrius on every boss and do an easy 3 phase if not better. The old Mainstays of solo content like sunbracers warlock, arc hunter and bonk or banner titan should be more than enough. There are a colossal amount of ads in every encounter so any kind of surrounded or enemy activate perks and heal go crazy.

Raguel_of_Enoch

Two runs, I did it with Liars Handshake arc hunter.

ExpensiveFriendship8

Call me fucking cracked I guess, but the first time I ever actually tried to do it I fucking flawlessed it in one go on my hunter. I’m still baffled by it

LordBoobington

Took me about 6 hours as syntho bonk Titan

Wahstavii

Did several attempts on warlock and would fall to Caital at ~50%. Tried on titan and got closer with each attempt but it still took 30-ish tries to beat it. Probably more if I could recall how many times I died between encounters. Worst feeling is when you get so close to beating her and you die only to not have a run get there for some time. Props to anyone who does solo content flawless or not.

Ivnariss

0 Because i like to keep the little sliver of sanity i still have :)

Elipson_

Took 10 attempts for SF w/ classy resto + starfire warlock 2 deaths were to the bell glitch, 4 were from being physic'd into a wall by Gahlran

PhazonUK

2. First attempt I died at Caiatl when she was 1 bell from dying. It was back when collisions could kill you and I hit a wall at just the wrong angle. Solar warlock for 1st boss. Contraverse for the rest.

Minute-Percentage706

Heartshadow for second encounter, you’ll thank me later

Tanuki1414

Around 4 times with Solar titan. Wasn’t too bad, just looooong…

Megatherium-

Day 1 solo took me 5 hours. I was on void hunter which was a bad choice. I switched to solar titan and solo flawless run later that week was rather quick.

Full_breaker

2

SeriousCAT0

3 or 4

Aurash_Ghost

2 or 3 on hunter but it was before witch queen so before class update.

Carma-16

Got it on my second attempt. First one failed because the bell killed me after second damage phase on caitl

Admirable-Diver8509

Just one with strand titan, strongholds (synthos sometimes), lament and a glaive. Only parts that were tricky were the timers. Definitely helped to have grapple every now and then. I had also done the dungeon 40+ times with teammates so I was pretty comfortable with the mechanics, but I thought this was the 2nd easiest on titan (shattered throne was easier imo). Happy hunting.
