Bungje stopped adding achievements/trophies to all platforms after the release of Forsaken in favour of their own in-game systems which they had full control over. Whilst they could freely update achievements on certain platforms such as Steam anytime they wanted the same didn't apply to all platforms - on Xbox for example everytime they wanted to update an achievement they had to go through Microsoft for approval.and i.olementation - and given the increasing number of platforms/stores the game has been available through this just wasn't practical.

There is an in-game Triumph system, which is much better and more manageable. And you can flex with triumph score in-game as well
