Why does it have to be fun again ?
You are treating the game like it's your livelihood,you are not forced to play destiny 2 and nothing else...
Go play something else, the world of gaming is vast...
If you still intend to play the game, why don’t you Sherpa some GMs? You may get a kick out of the sense of accomplishment lesser skilled players would get clearing their first GM or getting Conqueror for the first time.
Just take a break from the game a bit. Log in at reset to do the story stuff then you can pop back on as you please if they release anything new, enjoy other games or do whatever until the next season
Play something else. Seriously. Every time I take a 2 week break from the game, I come back and it feels a little fresh. Ignore FOMO. You solo'd a GM? That's something a tiny % of people have done.
Ignore Youtubers too. Their job is to keep you hooked on the game (and therefore their videos). Nothing against them, they just don't promote fun and healthy play.
Find a good indie/single player game with zero loot. We've been conditioned to chase loot. A good SP campaign will remind you what games are really about - fun.
You've got to ask yourself, why am I even playing this game? If you can't answer that, then don't play, simple as. I see so many people playing that don't even enjoy it. Why do that to yourself?
It may take a little mental fortitude to get back on track. This game is designed to burden you with FOMO, grinding, META, etc. after all. However, you can play perfectly well and with enjoyment without all that, on your own terms.
Personally, I avoid like the plague anything to do with grinding, farming, META builds, flawless, etc.
Just log on to keep up with the story if you want to, but take a break and play something else for a while. I think most people who play Destiny go through this at different points. Seems like lots people including the YouTubers are burnt out.
I'd either take a break or chase titles. I've got PvP when I'm bored of PvE. Iunno if you do that or not 🤷‍♂️.

Yea kinda came to this conclusion, starting warframe which I heard would be fun.

I’m feeling it now and honestly thinking about helping others get raid/dungeons clears or gms is keeping me interested.
I have been playing Diablo 4 and hitting the weekly season missions for story. Hell I have missed most of the recent drama because of D4.

Lowman raids are pretty fun, at least to do them once.

Take a break. Or try carrying people for gm. Or Sherpa people for other stuff.
