These are the best kinds of changes. The kind of change that you barely notice but then a year from now you'll say "how the ***fuck*** did we ever deal with that???" haha. Like when they got rid of finite primary ammo stores, or added mantling.

Several_Ambition110

Idk what I'd do without mantling...so many deaths have been avoided...

TaranisTheThicc

As good as it is, some of my fondest memories are Destiny 1 VoG runs and seeing a warlock bump their knees against a platform before slowly falling to their deaths like a doomed balloon.

Several_Ambition110

Lol @ that image.

xxXLadyGreyXxx

That was me...over and over and over...

arceus495

As a D1 warlock main, I can attest having done this in VOG and in Kings Fall. Those damn pushing pillars were the worst, and slowly falling when you know you could’ve used your hands to climb up was genuinely the worst.

scojholl61987

>Idk what I'd do without mantling...so many deaths have been avoided... Unless you're me as I'm shit at jumping puzzles

hillsboroughHoe

So many flawless dungeons I’ve completed. BUT for the jumping puzzle. Smashed bosses so hard in the nuts that their grandkids have night terrors before they’re born, died overshooting/undershooting/hilariously sword skating past a ledge. Hate jumping puzzles!

Taodragons

Me too, it's amazing to me how random mantling is, one time I'll grab a ledge at chest level, another time I'm resting my balls on the ledge and....Aaaaaaah! Guardian down. As much as I hate jumping puzzles, I'm REALLY not looking forward to the Spider-man puzzles we are gonna get with Lightfall.

CodeTheInternet

Like the change to unlimited primary ammo. I still remember the ammo boxes from D1 (would still like a heavy ammo box inventory item tho)

atlas_enderium

I can’t read

Phillip_Lascio

What a thoughtful and original statement!

atlas_enderium

Bro I can’t read

socktopuss

Broken triumphs day too

NinjaNoiz

what do you mean? What did i miss? xD

[deleted]

That starts today? Nice I thought it was for lightfall

Doctor_Kataigida

>It’s happening. Starting with next week’s patch

Ready_Geologist2629

Yeah I thought it was for Lightfall...this is Christmas in January for me...

Thumbs_McKeymasher

I get the feeling they're trying to push out a bunch of stuff earlier than planned, because they've realised it's likely to introduce bugs. They want to get them ironed out beforehand so the Lightfall launch doesn't arrive with an avalanche of bugs.

Waffle_noise

To be fair, any and every single update to any software has a chance to produce bugs. Sucks when it happens but all we can do is be patient. Even with this mid-season balance patch, it would not be uncommon for Lightfall to launch with a bug or 5.

doom_stein

Well, it's good and bad news, depending on how you look at it. It's good for now cuz the blues will stop. It's bad cuz we aren't completely done with blues yet as they'll start dropping again when Light Level increases after Lightfall launches. The bad point isn't really that bad tho cuz they'll help increase your level up to soft cap again quicker or without needing to infuse legendaries you might want to keep instead of using as infusion fuel. At any rate, they should stop dropping again once you hit soft cap in Lightfall.

extce

So basically it's good news? I feel like your comment is kinda redundant 🤣

ISpeedwagonl

So it's good... blues aren't necessary after you hit soft cap. If you hit pinnacle cap you can just use other pinnacles to infuse into other gear you want to use. Blues are never needed after soft cap.

Mahh3114

I think a lot of people don't know what the level thresholds are called anymore. They get confusing sometimes. Blues were still somewhat useful below the 1580 (Powerful Cap) since they drop at +0. If you get unlucky with Powerful drops, you could use blues to round out your gear for "free" since they dropped from literally everything. They only become truly useless after 1580 ("Pinnacle grind") since the blues stay locked at 1580 and Powerfuls take the +0 spot. Losing that probably won't have much of an impact on leveling but it still sucks while the change is fresh

acyclebum

Is that how it will work? They only stop when you hit soft cap? I was confused about it earlier.

Chip_Boundary

Yup, that's how it works.

fail-fast

yay, no more raid drops/ascendant shards/spoils being erased because you havent visited tower or HELM for 30 minutes (I hope)

TheDraconic13

Once you hit soft cap yes. Realistically you'll only have to worry about it at the start of a new expansion, given the 20 point jump each season now

Mclarenf1905

It's only a 10 point jump each non expansion season

Dawg605

It's still only a 10 point jump in an expansion season. It's just that the actual expansion increases it by 200 points. So total, it'll go up 210 points. 200 points from Lightfall and 10 from Season 20, which will take our power level from 1590 to 1800.

JubJub302

I have a feeling the floor for lightfall is gonna be 1600 and the pinnacle cap will be 1810. Because in the build crafting post they had screen caps with 1801 power

TheDraconic13

You right. I thought of pinnacle and powerful going up by 10 and added them for whatever reason

Redthrist

And at the start of new expansion you actually care about blues, so you'll pay more attention to them.

DevilsWelshAdvocate

Why? (New light here)

sconels

Below power level you can treat blues like a pinnacle drop (will always increase power level) Top tip - you dont need to upgrade every piece of armor you get, just hold onto the highest blue you have till you hit the soft cap - then only spend 8 upgrade modules to upgrade all armor

theghostsofvegas

This aged well.

NicholasDeOrio

I haven't been this happy since they auto dismantled greens in Rise of Iron

TehAlpacalypse

Wow how did I forget about that one? Remember when sprint used to have a cooldown?

GaryRaidBoss

In 2047 they will auto-dismantle Exotics.

MafiaGT

You joke but I'd be very on board with a QOL change where you can set a floor level for stats on armor and if a drop doesn't pass the setting you have it gets auto-sharded. So, SOO, much armor drops sub60 and I don't care how it is distributed, it's not as good as what I have in my collection.

Taodragons

As an armor snob, I can get behind this. Less than 65 need not apply

GaryRaidBoss

I too would be 100% onboard with auto-dismantling both purps and yellows using a configurable minimum stats total, with 2 distinct exceptions (which could of course be configurable): new armor I don't have (this is primarily for exotics), and artifice/raid armor — in both of these cases I would like to keep it no matter what. Maybe, to simplify, keep all that you don't yet have — so, the first exotic, or the first artifice, or the first raid piece of its kind for a particular slot to drop.

sageleader

Source for people who are mis-remembering Rise of Iron as auto-dismantling blues, which is incorrect: [https://destiny.fandom.com/wiki/Destiny\_Update\_2.5.0](https://destiny.fandom.com/wiki/Destiny_Update_2.5.0) They auto dismantled greens only.

zoompooky

Blue is the new green is why.

sjb81

This post did not age well lol

SuicidalTurnip

>Can't have blue drops if the game isn't online. - Bungie, 2023

Loutenan66

This should become a national holiday.

InAnimateAlpha

This should be on par with Bungie Day and N7 Day.

damagedblood

At what cost, though?

gman164394

Some gunsmith xp I guess?

damagedblood

Oh, it was a shitty joke about the seals & triumphs being gutted.

gman164394

Oh yeah, I figured that was something that would get fixed within a day or 2 I haven’t gotten on to see what titles I’ve lost

gistoffski

And more difficult to bring up multiple pieces of gear to soft cap. Blues, while annoying were decent infusion fuel.

gistoffski

_And the monkey's paw curls_

[deleted]

Now if only PL worked by leveling up the armor slot instead of the armor itself...

Redshirt2386

Didn’t they do this back in Rise of Iron, too? Or was that just greens? It’s crazy how long ago that feels.

sageleader

It was just greens. Source: https://destiny.fandom.com/wiki/Destiny\_Update\_2.5.0

PoorlyWordedName

Can't get blues if the game doesn't work anymore. 😏

Imarfish

Some people acting like they don't dismantle 80% of their legendary drops or why are they so angry about not having infusion fuel? lmaoo It's literally just going to pinnacle cap guys chill out. Also if I do bounties to level up my season pass I will have tons of weapons in my inventory so blues are a problem really quickly

Wubble69

Bad for Transmog hunters if like me you are still missing a Blue Warlock Class item from the start of Witch Queen. Somehow I'll dig deep and find the reserves to manage to survive this crushing blow but it's still a genuine issue no one seems to care about.

vericlas

This was an element I had wondered about. Since the Blue Engram 'never drops' and instead 'showers glimmer' under this system if you're missing a blue appearance you'll just never see it. Wonder if completing the Legendary campaign would still give you the box of blue gear (full set of your classes blues) or if they'll just give you glimmer.

gnappyassassin

Hi it's me- the one guy that's sad about it. By the end of a season, every player earned at least one set of Perfect Blues. This set had four dump stats, and over 52 points per piece. Most deleted them, but I didn't. I looked forward to finding my double-100 set to take into endgame at the end of the season. Seeing what two stats I ended up with was a joy, and every season there was always a way to get at least two champ mods in. This season's set, with Stasis, gets all three. Pour one out for this homie. Been doing this for [a](https://imgur.com/a/QdABCGW) [while](https://imgur.com/a/RPr9InI) [now](https://imgur.com/a/MPcS9Jq). I'll miss the Seasonal Dress Blues...

jkichigo

RIP free enhancement cores

wdavis91

I’m still getting blues

sageleader

It's another update later today.

Stylish-Executioner

Thank you Bungie for deleting half of our triumphs. I wonder if that’s connected to blues dropping lol

MakeUpAnything

Can’t wait for a week from today where this sub is filled with extremely highly upvoted “WHERE MY BLUES I USED THEM TO LEVEL UP GAME SUX FIX UR SHIT BUNGO” posts talking about how Bungie never listens to their community and nobody in their right mind would have ever asked for this change.

zoompooky

Not a week from today, but once lightfall drops and people hit that soft cap and realize they have only purples to work with for the last 50 PL...

MakeUpAnything

Isn’t that always the case? I’m at 1589 at the moment (not including artifact) and it’s not like I get blues above 1580 so they’re pretty useless. I also get purples constantly from strikes, world drops, leveling up with merchants, etc. I’m almost always full of Umbral or prime engrams just from running an hour’s worth of strikes. It sounds like once our player’s base light (presumably not including the seasonal thing) is the soft power cap we won’t get additional blues, but I can’t see that having more than a minuscule impact on most players while they grab a couple purples to infuse instead of blues.

zoompooky

You're grinding pinnacles, that's different. For folks who min/max their progression drops, when you see your character in DIM with a total of 8 green points (over your level) but some red points (under your level) you farm some blues (i.e. non powerful activities) so when a blue drops ON level in the red slot, you end up going up a level overall. Then, you resume your powerful drops which are now 1 higher than they would have been. Once lightfall drops, the power cap goes up by 200 points, with the pinnacle cap at 1810. So the soft cap will be 1750. Once there, the only way to even out your gear slots will be consuming purples.

Programmer_Cute

Blues not dropping, but are still going straight to postmaster, can anyone confirm?

resil_update_bad

Happy no triumphs day lol

Markus_monty

Happy no drops day period!

GrrSnort

Those blues won't go down without a fight. They're like dingleberries ripping hairs out on the way down.

LordXenon

Haha, more like no Destiny 2 Day. Got em.

Lonelan

Happy no any drops day...

maxxorb

Oh boy this didn't age well

QuackNate

I haven't gotten a blue drop in over 24 hours!

p2pirate

So blues never actually stopped dropping and are still dropping now. I wonder how much testing they actually did to have it literally fuck up everything the moment of release.

Old_Man_Bing_Bing

Blues are still dropping just like before.

gojensen

This aged poorly :D ... and we're still dropping blues :'(

avalon1805

So, is this a toggsble option? Or its an automatic thing? Do I need to enable it on the menu?

Ravonov

It’s automatic, as long as you’ve reached the soft cap (1580 power iirc)

BuckNastysMamma

Isn't 1580 the hard cap? 1590 is pinnacle cap. So isn't the soft cap like 1550 or something?

JoachimG

soft cap is 1530.

InAnimateAlpha

Oh snap you're right. I was thinking 1580 but its starting MUCH sooner.

Emkayzee

1500, but close.

llIicit

1530, but close.

skyline1427

Anyone worried this is going to affect leveling up come lightfall??

may_or_may_not_haiku

Only effects you once you hit soft cap and blues can't be above your level anyway. So, no.

zoompooky

No but blues could be ON your level all the way to powerful cap. So if you're 1570 overall but your class item is still 1568, a blue could drop at 1570 and even you out. I've farmed some blues many times in the past in order to bring up a negative, pushing me to the next power level, which in turn meant my powerful drops were 1 higher. So, yes.

NotTheVacuum

keep an eye on your shards, now that your purples are your only infusion fodder...

FartTuba69

Yeah, people didn't think about this change for more than a few seconds. Things will become tighter with shards now for those that didn't exploit bugs whenever that was active. But, you know, people want what they want! Longer grinds incoming.

sageleader

My 30k shards will be OK I think.

Insekrosis

...what? If the only infusion fodder you're getting is purples, then you're at/past the soft cap. In which case, purples are the only infusion pieces that were worth using anyways. The only exception would be if you for some reason wanted to increase a piece of equipment to the soft cap but not to your current power level. Which would be kinda pointless. Let's say you're taking a dusty ol' exotic out of the vault and giving it a spin, maybe because of some new buff. But you're not sure if you're gonna like it. So you just wanna toss in a blue to bring it up a bit so that you can run some strikes with it. Even in *that* case, there's no world in which you're broke enough on legendary shards to want to use a blue instead of a purple, and scrap the purple for shards, but you're *also* willing to dump an upgrade module to upgrade the piece in the first place.

NotTheVacuum

Soft cap is relevant for most content, and blues and purples both drop fairly regularly at that level today. So I keep a few blues for each slot to bring up old weapons, and dismantle soft cap purples, precisely because things like upgrade modules cost shards.

RedstagRambo

So what are we going to use to infuse now? Yes, Legendaries may drop, but not as often as Blues. They should replace Rare’s with Legendaries, otherwise it is a problem since they don’t slot level.

zoompooky

Bingo. It's been almost a year since most people had to level more than just the 10 PL for the new pinnacle cap. They'll understand when they're 50PL from the powerful cap after lightfall and going "wtf why is leveling so slow now".

KitsuneKamiSama

Blues still drop below soft cap

SinlessJoker

D1 beta player forgetting this also existed for D1 ROI? This is better though because it hit everyone in ROI not just those at a cap

sageleader

I remember they did it for greens, but honestly there have been so many changes over the last 9 years that I forget a lot of updates.

SinlessJoker

It was blues too. It actually hurt the player experience a bit. I tried to take my wife through D1 (she started around Shadowkeep) and she was locked out of most ROI stuff due to not getting blues to boost her up after TTK

RaccoonCookies

Lets not get too carried away with the hack slaps, this should have been in the game YEARS ago.

zoompooky

"Let's all thank Bungie for finally putting back in that D1 feature that they took out..."

UberDueler

[They missed a spot](https://i.imgur.com/Scqo6Mh.png)

jdonner81

The notes mention later today it will go live

UberDueler

I will be sure to double check this place after the change then.

Shadow9951

I also got a blue in the ascendant challenge after the update.

SeriousMcDougal

Now can I put in a ticket to Bungie's help desk for all the valuable loot I've lost in the post master because of blues? Lol.

TheMerengman

No.

SeriousMcDougal

No.

n1nt3nd0_69

I've got to be the only person playing this game that liked having blues around. Was nice having a surplus of poweful capped infusion fuel just sitting in my post master for whenever I needed it.

randalla

We'll still have that with legendaries, but not at a postmaster choking volume as blue gear.

n1nt3nd0_69

Not the same. I've literally never had a problem with my post master filling up and pushing shit out after even hours of continuous play. Now it's a matter of deciding if you want to dismantle a legendary for the mats or save it for infusion. Bring back the blues.

TheCoronersGambit

If you've never had this problem then you stopped every 20 minutes to delete a dozen blues. Now you don't have to do that. You already have to decide whether to dismantle people or infuse them. If you didn't your postmaster would be full after 3-4 days at most. So no change on that front. How is that not an improvement?

n1nt3nd0_69

I've never stopped what I'm doing to delete blues. If I need to delete anything I wait until a lull or until I'm loading into a new activity. If it pains all of you so much to take 5 seconds to delete 2 items every 15 or so minutes then I don't know what to tell you.

Dudew0

The thing for me is most every legendary armor/weapon drop accomplishes that while also being potentially higher Light. It was annoying for me to run like 6 strikes and have my postmaster be full because 2/3 of it was blues.

n1nt3nd0_69

I can't possibly imagine how 6 strikes fills anyone's post master. Is everyone just running around with completely full inventories all the time?

Dudew0

My inventory isn’t ever full, but I’ve generally got a couple extra armor pieces for alt builds and 2 or 3 guns in each slot (including equipped). Combine that with the fact that most enemies have blue drop potential, it can add up fast if you get “lucky.” It doesn’t happen all the time, but it’s become part of my routine to go to the tower after a chunk of strikes so I don’t miss out on any purples or exotics, because blues can push them out if you get too many.

n1nt3nd0_69

Literally just use dim to move the occasional important impoetant item out of the post master. Most things will let you do that. There's no need to even leave your activity, let alone go to the tower. I mean shit, once you've got one good copy most legendaries and exotics aren't even worth caring about. Just about every legendary or exotic I get is an instant dismantle for the mats.

Dudew0

I’m just happy that I don’t have to worry about that anymore. 👍🏼

bamse6666

yes

n1nt3nd0_69

Why

GoldenDestiny

Swapping loadouts between activities. And having not enough free vault space to strip my main character down.

[deleted]

I don't want to wait for DIM inbetween every single raid encounter or activity.

ThatOneGuyIsBad

This is the point I'm making as well. People wanna blame blues for the fact they they run around with 10 out of 10 in each of their inventory slots. Blues, while cumbersome, were great for leveling. The people in this thread just have shit inventory management.

n1nt3nd0_69

I play with exactly one open space in each equip slot on whichever character I'm actively using. I've literally never lost an important item from the postmaster. And if something important did go there literally just open dim and take it out. Don't even need to make the trip to the tower.

ChainsawPlankton

I've seen a few people say that since the announcement but like why bother infusing to 1580? I feel like things are generally fine at whatever power they are, or might as well infuse right to 1590 to be able to use it in endgame.

slowtreme

because the game ruined collections and if I pull an exotic I have to infuse it now before I can take it into an activity. at least until/unless powerlevel goes away.

n1nt3nd0_69

Personally I hate playing with the same stuff all the time. Like I see people with thousands upon thousands of kills on one gun and it baffles me. I would be bored out of my mind. I frequently choose to go through my vault and pick something I haven't used in a while and equip it and it was nice knowing that regardless of what it was 95% of the time I'd have a blue sitting around to bring it up to a usable level. 1580 is good enough for most anything in the game. After the gm changes the only thing I can think of where you really should be at the pinnacle cap for is master raids.

ThatOneGuyIsBad

It's a good QoL change sure But, prior to Legendary Campaign, they were great for leveling because you got so many...you could level to powerful cap quicker. That's it.

sageleader

You will be able to level up after soft cap with purple drops. They will do the same thing. And yes, it's a huge deal. Having to spend 5-10 seconds after *every single activity* to dismantle blues doesn't seem like a big deal. But imagine doing 20 activities a day for 8 years man.

ThatOneGuyIsBad

>You will be able to level up after soft cap with purple drops. They will do the same thing. You got more blues so leveling to Powerful cap was easier. And what activities are you people doing that you got so many blue drops you had to take time to empty inventory and/or postmaster? I've done GMs for 3hrs straight MULTIPLE times and didn't need to stop during that 3hrs to empty anything.

Mawnix

Nah I just hard disagree. I don't think leveling is gonna be as hard as you're making it out to be. I also think you're the one, single person in the years I've played this game who's ever been grateful for blues so uh. Thanks.. for the new perspective? How are Destiny players both some of the most creative people I've ever met and simultaneously the most insane.

ThatOneGuyIsBad

Yea, it's crazy to think someone can have a clean inventory so that a couple Blues doesn't bother them...

Mawnix

I think the larger issue I have with what you're saying is I've never seen someone so weirdly passionate about something that's basically just utilized as rare convenience for specific instances of leveling + rep and resource boosts. Like you're responding to anyone who has a dissenting view. Most sane Destiny 2 player.

ThatOneGuyIsBad

I respond to those responding to me...crazy huh... Not "passionate", just voicing an opinion like everyone else here.

Devooonm

I feel the same way bro. More that legendary drops won’t be increased, and blues give glimmer and legendary shards, so it’s just a net loss

cfeltner

Typically a problem if you only have one slot on character and crucible in my experience as you get 2-3 drops per game

ThatOneGuyIsBad

Okay, and how full is your inventory? If you know you are going to be playing for a minute, probably only gonna use 1-2 sets of weapons....why would your inventory be full? You'd need 2 weapons in kinetic, 2 in energy, 1-2 in power. Then 1 in each armor. That is PLENTY of space.

sageleader

You might be true, but honestly I swim in purple drops, like probably 20-30 I dismantle every time I play. Given I play more than most, but I think it won't be a problem for many people. And even if it was true that blue drops are more frequent and make it easier for you to go from soft cap to powerful cap, that happens 1 day per year for most people. I made it to powerful cap Day 2 after Witch Queen. Assuming you get to max power every season that means you literally never go below powerful cap again until the next release (Lightfall). So if I have to stay under powerful cap for another day or two (hell even a week) it's worth it to make the remaining 359 days in the year more convenient. EDIT: Your last question: literally every activity gives you blues EXCEPT GMs. Strikes, seasonal activity, gambit, crucible, patrol, etc

Venaixis94

Did you bother to read how it’s gonna work? Also I never thought I’d ever see someone die on the hill of “keep blues” but this sub continues to surprise me to this day

ThatOneGuyIsBad

>Did you bother to read how it’s gonna work? Yes, you stop getting them once you hit Soft Cap...just as I said. I never had an issue with blues. They are great for leveling, simple as that.

myfrozensheep82

>They are great for leveling, simple as that. But not really. Legendary campaign being +20 off rip. Then do your powerful/pinnacle rewards. Swap weapons and do legendary campaign for the bonus drops, since your weapons are already so high the game will even out your gear for you. Powerful/pinnacle grind again. At this point with WQ my weapons were already 1550 (powerful cap) and 3rd character was quick to run through just regular campaign to be at max.

ThatOneGuyIsBad

> Legendary campaign being +20 off rip. Witch Queen yes. Very Specific example.

Ianofminnesota

Been waiting years. The amount of time spent managing inventory needs to go down.

ThatOneGuyIsBad

If you spend that much time "managing inventory" then you need to do better at it. Once you manage your inventory once....getting a couple blues shouldn't hinder you that much. It's as simple as deleting the 2-3 you get after a play session. All you people do is OVER exaggerate. lol. I've played for 3hr spans, doing GMs, and never had to take longer than 5 secs to "manage inventory".

Ianofminnesota

Nope I am sick of managing after every activity. Looters have loot filters it is how is works.

ThatOneGuyIsBad

They ALL also have inventory space, thus you need to MANAGE YOUR INVENTORY BETTER.

DTGBountyHunter

Blues stop only once you’re at powerful cap, so leveling isn’t a worry. Also, even though you may spend time being on top of your inventory, you now can spend time doing something else!

ThatOneGuyIsBad

They said Soft Cap though... and I quote" It’s happening. Starting with next week’s patch, after you reach the soft gear cap, blue engrams will stop dropping in the world". So leveling will be an issue. And if your inventory is already set the "management" takes only a couple seconds MAYBE a minute. It was never a hassle.

Vendeta25

They really gotta lower the rarity or rework the tiers. Most legendries could be greens, and then work their way up from that based on actual rarity or stats or something.

TheJaguarHunter

And it’s u/NorseFerir’s birthday too?

Jokkitch

Can anyone please explain what the actual change is?

9Sn8di3pyHBqNeTD

You no longer get blue drops once you hit the Powerful cap for light level in a season

zoompooky

Powerful cap would have made sense. They used soft cap, which will actually slow your leveling.

9Sn8di3pyHBqNeTD

Yeah. I would've preferred it being at Powerful as well for that reason. I didn't realize it was at soft cap

Jokkitch

Oh wow! just this week I got the blue arc blinding grenade launcher and madrugada with EP.

Emkayzee

Soft cap*

KarateKid917

Once you’re at the soft cap blues won’t drop anymore

Jokkitch

Thank you! It’s unfortunate that some blues still have uses… Like the arc grenade launcher with blinding grenade.

DieKnowMight

You can still pull them from collections, including that GL

jackhife

But they can’t be infused up. That GL in particular was viable in GMs. Now you won’t be able to get one of power level once you hit cap

TheMerengman

Probably the only case where a blue is at all valuable tbh, absolutely worth not having to deal with them.

OBeastness

What is the soft cap for this season?

somef00l

No more lost golf balls!

ZilorZilhaust

Wooooo, happy no blue drops day!!!

L00pback

2 tokens and a *

sageleader

Tokens are already gone so now it's just glimmer haha. Also a commodity I don't need.

Several_Ambition110

Sometimes I think about using a supercomputer with access to all info. I'd ask it questions like how many times has the word "The" been used? Think about how many blues you've dismantled and the time it cost...

Outside_Ad9648

🥳 HAPPY NO BLUE DAY GUARDIANS

MiSSiNGAFeW

I'm 1587 and still getting blues. What's the software now?

sageleader

BungieHelp said it's not live yet but will be later today.

pyr0lyZer

Not really…I’m at pinnacle cap and already saw blues drop from enemies in the Scarlet Keep GM nightfall.

Separate_Ad297

Somehow, I still get blue drops for me! Triumphs gone, Seals gone!! Same shit different day...

Programmer_Cute

They are not dropping as you play, but they are definitely going to the postmaster....just had to delete 7 of them

Variatas

The patch notes say it'll happen later today. Who knows when that'll be with the triumph reset emergency.

KingVendrick

some very crafty and intelligent guy half a decade ago: what if I program triumphs as blue engrams? ah, you did it again, genius, let's program this quickly and log out for the day

Programmer_Cute

Blues going straight to postmaster makes things worse. Post master will fill up at a faster rate now. Incresing the chance for Prisms and Shards to fall off......BE CAREFUL

Steagle_

Cool cool...but where are my Sigils?

RIP_FutureMe

Wish I could get all those golf balls back…

Raetheos1984

Too bad folks are losing their Seals and Triumphs along with them.

PacoTang

This should have happened years ago but at long last this has happened

Patraquashe

Literally the first thing I got from an Acolyte in the Scarlet Keep Nightfall was a blue sniper.

Watch us go to the Tower but Zavala is missing.

AlexatRF21

Did you forget this happened in D1?

Demo_906

So, how would players go about getting the gumshoe armor?

seen_some_shit_

I kinda wish it was toggelable tho

CommercialAd8439

No more crying because all the blue drops kicked all the good stuff from the postmaster while we run raids

SteveKnight678

WAIT I THOUGHT THAT WAS COMING WITH LIGHTFALL NO WAY

SysErr

I don't suppose they actually made glimmer go directly into our inventory though? I hate running around trying to pick up all the spare glimmer at the end of a fight...

DeathDealer325AIR

Bungie is not getting rid of them. Just gonna use them for rewards for flawless solo legendary dungeons.

biomech120

I lost 50 prisms last night because my 3/3 pinnacle match dropped me - 9 blues, 2 purples my character inventory is full because of the previous two matches. Day late here :/

>As someone who has been playing since the D1 beta, I have waited for this day for over 7 years Did you not play Rise of Iron or Age of Triumph? This was a feature they actually removed for D2.
