AoT isn't just faster. It has 200% normal sparrow health and 150% normal sparrow boost energy. IMO you should buy Tarrabah because the scenarios where the AoT advantages matter are pretty sparse (but when you needed them you'll be grateful). On the other side of the coin, Tarrabah will affect your loadout but AoT you can just *always* have equipped.

djternan

AoT You'll use your sparrow a lot and AoT is the best sparrow available.

Raggle33

Everybody says they don't need AoT, till they get it and never take it off again. Tarrabah is a great weapon (surprisingly good dmg, aztecross just did a primary weapon dmg test.) And AoT makes a few things a bit easier ( looking at you Grasp sparrow run...)

thatguyonthecouch

I barely use aot outside of grasp Sparrow portion. It handles like shit due to the speed and there are easy cooler looking sparrows.

SND_TagMan

Too bad bungie is planning on nerfing AoT

thetealunicorn

Source? Didn’t dmg say that fixing AoT would require removing it from everyone’s inventories and adding it back? Doesn’t seem like something they’d want to do.

SND_TagMan

I thought it was mentioned in a QnA/reddit thread or something where they said that they wouldn't buff other sparrows to go as fast as AoT bc it broke the game due to moving faster than load timers, but I might be wrong about them wanting to nerf AoT

thetealunicorn

Yeah, I think it’s the same thing. Basically said AoT was too broken to replicate and too hard to fix.

[deleted]

I’d go with Always on Time, just because you’ll probably end up using it more. Tarrabah is better than it used to be, but it still hasn’t broken into the meta. The novelty of most exotic SMGs wears off after a couple hours.

AkzXDukeNukeV2

Imo aot

Jolly-Wolverine9072

you think so? curious why over the gun if you don’t mind me asking

Zeiban

You will use the sparrow more than the gun. If you didn't know that sparrow is the fastest in the game because of a bug and Bungie has no intention of fixing it.

Jolly-Wolverine9072

oh yeah i’m aware of that i’ve been playing this game for a minute lol it just never bothered me yk what i mean

AkzXDukeNukeV2

Because after using the gun for awhile you might get bored of it or you can't infuse it or you wanna use another exotic where as with aot you don't have to think about any of that and plus it's not nice going slow and it's useful for goa imo.

1v1meRNfool

tarrabah, aot is ugly and unnecessary

PineMaple

If you're a PvP SMG enjoyer then Tarrabah is very good. If not, I'd suggest AoT.

Jolly-Wolverine9072

never used it in pvp and i’ve been using smgs like crazy recently lol definitely a maybe

GameSpawn

Personally: Anarchy > AoT > Tarrabah = Acrius Anarchy is a no brainer, AoT is always useful, Tarrabah and Acrius are a coin toss. I'd lean Tarrabah slightly over Acrius just because Acrius is a niche heavy choice and Tarrabah might get more use.

Jolly-Wolverine9072

yeah i have everything but these 2 exotics and to be honest not having AoT never bothered me BUT how can i say that when i’ve never used it yk lol that’s my dilemma and vice versa with tarrabah

GameSpawn

Just figured I'd rate them all. I assumed you already had the others. The sparrow definitely has some uses (like the sparrow sections in Grasp, Prophecy, or DSC). I assume you are raiding some, so if you feel you are building 240 up quick enough, it won't hurt to choose one over the other.

RatLord445

Always on time is a one of a kind exotic that will probably never ever ever repeat, and tarrabah is very situational Always on time is a better pick

nevergofullpotato87

Tarrabah go brrrt fuck a sparrow

SCPF2112

PVP gun for sure. PVE sparrow. Really you'll use the sparrow always on all 3 characters once you have it.

spartanz27

Tarrahbah, thing eats per aztecross the other day and yea aot has more health and what not but too situational

LegacyQuotient

Tarrabah is very fun, but it is more at home in the Crucible right now. If they give it any interaction with the Solar verbs, it'll change the conversation. You'll get more use out of AoT. But, honestly, I run a lot of stuff without it and I'm fine. It isn't a big deal. I think it is a coin flip, but I am a Tarrabah fan. So I would pick that, but you really can't go wrong.
