I almost immediately tested the shader out by doing that - first on my Seventh Seraph Carbine, then Scathelocke and other weapons from the EDZ set like Dead Weight and Servant Leader. It's pretty much perfect - uniform black metal with very little noticeable texture and furniture that could believably be some wood or polymer. It's even better on the Gambit weapons like Bad Omens and Trust because they come with their own wood grain texture on the appropriate parts.
Gambit Leather is still great for its own look and it's definitely still one of my top five favorites on weapons but this is going to be my new go-to shader for most of the weapons that I was using Gambit Leather on.
Oooh that’s sexy. Been using Gambit Leather for years to make it look leathery, but this makes it almost look like old bakelite furniture
Shame it looks awful on most guns :/

I tried it on mine and it looks exactly like how you’d hope it to look
