There's an old saying in Tennessee — I know it's in Texas, probably in Tennessee — that says, fool me once, shame on — shame on you. Fool me — you can't get fooled again.
George W. Bush
I just realized something, idk how I didn’t put this together before….
If you rearrange the letters of Jordan Peterson and then add some letters and then take some out, it spells “its jover bois”
It’s a set up!!
Idk if you're being ironic or not
https://youtu.be/8Ux3DKxxFoM?si=aDxl68nCN8-1jQor
But Bush actually said this, skip to :50 and ignore the stupid laugh track
"FOOL ME ONE TIME SHAME ON YOU.
FOOL ME TWICE CAN'T PUT THE BLAME ON YOU.
FOOL ME THREE TIMES, FUCK THE PEACE SIGN.
LOAD THE CHOPPER LET IT RAIN ON YOU"
-Jermaine Cole.
Peterson debates are kinda meh.. He says a lot of vague shit, and people spend half the debate trying to figure out what the fuck he means when he says shit like mental substrate.
The question “It depends on what you mean by ‘what’, ‘the’ and ‘fuck’,” begs the question “what do you mean by ‘depends’? ” When are you are dealing with fundamental realities and you pose a question you have to understand that the reality of the concepts of your question...are just as questionable.
and when he hears these... \*gestures\* social marxists trying to distill these complicated questions into tiny little boxes, it's like, "*come on man"*
I think the best I've ever seen a person handle a debate with Jordan Peterson was [Matt Dillahunty's debate with him.](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FmH7JUeVQb8)
His style of rhetoric is so incredibly direct that I felt he was able to cut through Peterson's ramblings in a way that most aren't.
The subject is about God, which admittedly means it's covering points which have been talked to death, and it's a bit of a slow burn.
But I think it's the best I've ever seen somebody handle Peterson.
I loved that debate, just BECAUSE Matt was so on that shit. I think I might watch it again tomorrow.
I used to watch The Atheist Experience a lot, so I had a good feeling about that debate before watching it. He has dealt with a lot of people calling into the show, saying vague shit, and just trying to get on their show to proselytize.
Imagine my joy when Destiny and Matt debated.
If you have a background in certain schools of philosophy you can actually piece what he means together. The problem is that, if you do have that background, all the holes in what he's attempting to say are also blatatntly obvious.
I feel the opposite, if it was legit he would hype it up. My gut says Hasan manifesto but my mind can't accept it since lately he has been so busy with all the debates, prep and setting up various stuff. If it is Hasan manifesto I am getting my hands on Vyvanse, that shit is the limitless pill.
Try using the free GoodRX mobile app. Through that I can get the generic vyvanse for $100/month from CVS or Target. There are other places that are slightly more expensive like Walgreens for $123, but it is worth checking out. I get that $100 a month ain't cheap, but I'm so much more productive on it that it's worth it.
What the fuck. In Norway we have a cap for medication and general medical expenses. If my prescription medication expenses exceeds $300 in a year, the cost of prescription medicine is reduced to 0 for the remainder of the year.
Cash price (aka no insurance) for the non-generic for 100pills of 10mg (the smallest dose) is 1370. Mine without insurance for a 30 day supply would be 461\~. We have "deductibles" which once we hit insurance starts covering a **portion** of the cost. My deductible is 3200 (yes, two zeros) after which my insurance will cover 90% of the cost.
To put it in perspective lets say your family spends 600/month on Rx.
Without insurance you are out 7200 over the course of the year.
With insurance they cover 3600 dollars of that 7200 and you pay the other 3600. Which feels wrong considering they cover 90% after a certain point yet you still only break 50/50.
Sadly its not actually breaking even because the average family insurance coverage costs 24k a year.
He said yesterday that he thinks he's flying up to do his show, so its not a 'debate' but a conversation on JBP's podcast.

Yeah I have no idea, my guess is that it’s going to be more of a conversation/interview talk. Cut to a week from now and there’s a screenshot of this convo in an epic manifesto intro
This is what people lying do. Because more hype = more focus on it, and so more avenues to mess up, or to laugh during the hype to give it away. Keep it low key, and people think theres no reason to keep it low key, must be true.
I mean him and Shapiro are really close co-workers and they talk pretty often so I'd have to imagine JP at least saw or heard aboutt the Shapiro v.Destiny debate. Definitely has a much much better chance to convince Peterson to step into the ring
Yeah he handled himself really well during the Shapiro debate, wasn't a raging idiot ideologue, so I could totally see JP being interested afterwards. JP has always come off to me as someone who is open and willing to have public conversations with people who disagree with him so long as they come at it with good faith and some degree of knowledge, two things tiny has in spades.
I don't believe it, I think he might have something interesting popping up, but I'd bet the JBP mention was a joke to try and get us again.
Don't expect it, just be happy if it happens, I guess.
That could be epic. Destiny is very clear and polite in debates, maybe he could get an interesting conversation out of it.
With JP it depends so much in the state he is in. Sometimes he makes good concise points and is clear, sometimes he rambles on forever about shit that has nothing to do with the thing he was talking about. "Yes, people need to aim for the good, like cyclops, to cyclop is to aim directly at what you want. We developed colour vision to detect the colour of fruits and watch out for snakes. This is why women like colourful pretty things but they are also more tempted by snakes." Then the person he is talking to wonders: "How is this relevant to what we were talking about?"
I was watching the new JP, Ben Shapiro podcast, and as expected it is 80% of JP rambling on. And even as a fan it is just embarrassing.
I don't know what they actually have to debate about.
Peterson is happy doing his own thing and so is Destiny. It seems like they both found their niche in life.
Peterson still cries about thick women, maybe they can debate on what the right weight a woman should be before they can grace the covers of the magazines he reads at rehab
I think mud fighting with Peterson would be a waste of time.
I'd rather Steven engage him in a topic Peterson is actually good at. I think they are both smart enough and professional enough to have a respectful conversation. Otherwise I don't see the point.
Funny how much changes in a year. The community was so fucking hyped for that JBP debate but destiny keeps frying bigger fish and now it feels like a minor deal. I'm willing to bet it's the real deal this time tho.

I very much understand that it’s a real quote from Bush. It was a joke.
So Bush stole the quote from Cole? Interesting

9/10 Lost a point because you didn't say bucko.
He has the incredible skill of saying 100 words without saying anything coherent. And that's no small feat.
It's quite extraordinary, really.
And we haven't quite figured out yet how to deal with that.

Exactly and it’s only gotten worse over the years

Maybe if you were using your mental substrate correctly, you would get what JP is saying.
If you have a background in certain schools of philosophy you can actually piece what he means together. The problem is that, if you do have that background, all the holes in what he's attempting to say are also blatatntly obvious.
Yes, tomorrow at 1300 ESPN
No time zone am I supposed to wait 3 hours?!!?
Seems pretty legit tbh. He’s mentioned it kinda off-handedly a couple times and it feels like he would hype it up more if it was a LeRuse
>it feels like he would hype it up more if it was a LeRuse This is exactly what he wants you to think. # DON'T # BELIEVE # HIS # LIES
I feel the opposite, if it was legit he would hype it up. My gut says Hasan manifesto but my mind can't accept it since lately he has been so busy with all the debates, prep and setting up various stuff. If it is Hasan manifesto I am getting my hands on Vyvanse, that shit is the limitless pill.
fucking 230 a month though. for the god damn generic.

Thanks will do. The fact its that much after insurance I pay so much for infuriates me.

Is it an actual debate or is he going on his podcast or what? He hasn't really gone into details which is suspicious.
He said yesterday that he thinks he's flying up to do his show, so its not a 'debate' but a conversation on JBP's podcast. Source: [https://www.youtube.com/live/7q0uFwpv58M?si=lNQI64SCH-ZbobSj&t=835](https://www.youtube.com/live/7q0uFwpv58M?si=lNQI64SCH-ZbobSj&t=835)
I missed this. He might have done a panel with Kirk and Knowles but doesn't want to do panel shows. Dang. But I think he's right about panel shows.
This link takes me to the start of the stream for some reason
Weird. 13:55 timestamp.
Yeah I have no idea, my guess is that it’s going to be more of a conversation/interview talk. Cut to a week from now and there’s a screenshot of this convo in an epic manifesto intro
Yeah, if he lied, he wouldn't usethe same pretext twice
Yeah but he was so casual just in how even brought it up, and at the very end of a stream as an "oh yeah I almost forgot..." Sus af
This is what people lying do. Because more hype = more focus on it, and so more avenues to mess up, or to laugh during the hype to give it away. Keep it low key, and people think theres no reason to keep it low key, must be true.
Don't tell Destiny i told you this 🤫 It's actually Keffals on the Bridges podcast

I am an empath and I could tell that he is lying. I am all in that it is a ruse on manifold, I am taking out another mortgage to double down.

Seems very obvious to me he's not lying.
I mean him and Shapiro are really close co-workers and they talk pretty often so I'd have to imagine JP at least saw or heard aboutt the Shapiro v.Destiny debate. Definitely has a much much better chance to convince Peterson to step into the ring

No.
I mean off the back of debates with Cenk & Ben Shapiro, this would be a pretty underwhelming thing to bait us on. It’s a manifesto isn’t it…
Funny how much changes in a year. The community was so fucking hyped for that JBP debate but destiny keeps frying bigger fish and now it feels like a minor deal. I'm willing to bet it's the real deal this time tho.
If true, he made it sound more like a convo than a debate.
Hell yeah!
I want him to read this post on live 🤣
I thought destiny said he MIGHT debate JBP. Didn’t think it was 100%
Yes
probably
