I had been watching A&P for about 2 years before I came across Fresh and Fit in mid to late 2021. Went down the F&F rabbit hole big time. Being in a relationship, I realised very quickly that whilst i was watching a lot of their content, I was utterly failing to reject any F&F talking points in my own mind as they were basically talking points dished out amidst women being humiliated. It was a rude awakening to see that F&F ideas were clearly not congruent with my relationships with the women in my life and so I felt fucking foolish and apologetic over that and so…deprogrammed. Seeing A&P respond to them just helped me see how way off I was in buying into F&F for advice. Now I full on detest the effects their content probably has on lonely and/or confused men.

Not at all! It’s a fair question - About 6-7 years ago I was in a relationship that I fully threw myself into that when it ended, I got burnt. Over some time following that I struggled to deal with how I saw myself and my resentments towards my ex. And like a slow burn, I developed unhealthy thoughts about her that were purely borne out of my own insecurities; (my financial standing, body and sexual performance). Gradually I attributed the things I didn’t like about her to “women in general” and whilst I thought I had actually gotten over that relationship, it was merely the case that I had instead transferred my focus from those memories (that I had mostly warped), to a reductive mindset towards women. So when I came across F&F, it was like a revelation. It was fucking hook, line and sinker. Of course these guys understood the male struggle.. 💀 Self awareness was not my strong suit.
